202. Not Lampor

Rex is on his way home after completing his duties. At that time the highway was quite quiet because it had exceeded 'busy hours'. Rex also drives the bike at medium speed because it is not being hunted by time.

Rex stopped at a crossroads just as the red traffic light was on. Rex stared flat at the people crossing the zebra cross.

Rex tried to observe the road behind him through the reflection of the rearview mirror and did not see a single vehicle passing behind him.

Realizing something unusual, Rex stopped the vehicle. Then Rex observed the conditions around him. A moment later Rex let out a long sigh.

" What else is this,." muttered Rex, sharpening his eyesight all over.

It was then that the group of men carrying keranda passed right in front of Rex. From such a close distance Rex could clearly see the figures and faces of the men.

The group of coffin bearers turned out to have a pale face with both eyes in the form of empty cavities. They continued walking without a sound. Strangely though without the eyeballs they can walk regularly towards the same place without clashing with each other.

Although not as crowded as usual, but Rex saw many vehicles passing on the right and left. Apparently at that time Rex was right in the middle of the highway. Rex clucked and then returned to start his bike to continue the journey.
