226. Saving Shezi

Rex drove his bike at mid-speed towards the dispensary where Shezi worked. On the way Rex again remembered his conversation with the parents of Aksara earlier.

Shortly thereafter Rex arrives in front of the dispensary. There is something different this time because the atmosphere in front of the pharmacy looks more crowded than usual. Strangely in the pharmacy it looks quiet even the lights in the room was extinguished.

Rex parked his motorbike while observing his surroundings and looking at the two panicked-looking Shezi friends.

" Please Sir, Mas. Please help me.." said Dina.

" We don't dare. The man was carrying a gun, the proof of security was shot earlier.

" But we can attack him rame-rame sir. We have more," said Tia.

" Our number is more but the bullets are also faster Ma'am." said the man.

" So she wants to join the crazy guy together with us. At least talking about usual prayers..," quipped a young man while whimpering.

" I dare to...!" tia said loudly.

" Ti, don't make a fuss can't. Now we have to focus on finding a way to help break Shezi out of that psychopath...!" dina snapped until everyone fell silent.

" What's this...?" ask Rex to make everyone look at him.

" Captain Rex, fortunately the Captain came..," said Tia as she hurried over to Rex.

" What's the matter, Ma'am...?" rex asked as he gently brushed off Tia's hand that was touching her arm.

" Shezi was taken hostage by the same mentally ill man in there, Captain...!" sahut Dina was loud to the surprise of Rex.

" You can enter through the side door or the back door to help Shezi.", said Rex gusar.

" Can't be Captain. Pharmacies have been burglarized so that since then the side door was closed. Now there's a big closet where drugs are blocking that door.

" Why are you here...?!" rex asked as he looked at the men who were in front of the dispensary alternately.

" That guy's got Mas's gun...!" sahut one of the men.

" I've telephoned Police really, and the Police are on their way here now.", said another man.

The words of the two men made Rex growl. He looked inside and saw a man pointing a gun at Shezi who was cornered behind the counter.

Rex tried to break down the door made of thick glass but failed. Some men helped but still did not succeed. Finally Rex picked up the boulder and prepared to throw it at the door.

" Peach back...!" rex said loudly while running to the side of the pharmacy.

Rex threw stones not at the door but at the glass wall right where the man was. Apparently due to being too focused on staring at Shezi, the man who was none other than Nato was off guard.

The baby-sized stone hit the glass hard and some of the pieces hit Nato's body. The man was shocked and grimaced in pain as the glass fragments injured his skin to the point of bleeding.

" Sia*an who is it...?!" maki Nato loudly while staring angrily at the broken glass.

Not the answer Nato received but instead Rex's raw bogem landed on her face and stomach. Nato fell to the floor in an injured condition. Not only injuries due to Rex's punch but also injuries due to glass debris.

Then Rex charged forward and prepared to seize the firearm in Nato's hands. But baby he lost fast. In a lying position suddenly Nato opened fire on Rex who swiftly managed to dodge.

Nato continued to chase Rex with her gun that kept barking. But again Rex managed to avoid. Meanwhile, outside the dispensary, residents were running away for fear of being hit by stray bullets.

Upset at not meeting the target, Nato finally pointed her gun at Shezi who seemed to be standing trembling behind the counter.

From where he stood, Rex tried to measure the distance between himself and Shezi and Nato. Rex also weighed the risks of the actions he would take later. And it seems Rex has decided where he should move.

After saying that, Nato pulled the trigger and pointed it at Shezi.

However, Nato's movement came to a halt as a kick swept through his palm. As a result of the kick, Nato's grip on the gun was released. Nato let out a loud scream as she felt her palm joints being broken due to the rigors of Rex's kick.

After that Rex caught Nato's hand and twisted it backwards and then slid Nato's body to the floor. Nato could only cuss without resisting power due to the agonizing pain.

" Take the Zi rope, cepaatt...!" rex's orders are loud.

" I.., yes..," Shezi said nervously.

Then Shezi grabbed a roll of raffia rope from under the drawer and threw it at Rex. Nervous, Shezi's throw hit Rex's head and it made Rex look at him.

" I'm sorry..," Shezi said softly as she cupped her palms in front of her face.

Seeing the pale Shezi's face made Rex's anger that had peaked earlier died down. He let out a long sigh and grabbed the raffia rope. Then Rex tied Nato's arms together until the man could not move.

Along with the completion of Rex binding Nato's arms, three policemen barged in through the broken glass wall. They nodded respectfully as they recognized who the man who had subdued the rioters was.

Two police officers took Nato while another was seen shaking Rex's hand tightly.

" Thank you Captain Rex..," said one of the police who is a member of the Taufan AKP.

" All together. Please take good care of her and don't let her be free so easily." Pinta Rex.

" Ready Captain !. We are authorized to record the damage and question the victim who was taken hostage was Captain.", said the police.

" Please. But you should contact the owner of the pharmacy so that the employees are not wronged. Kasian if they lose their jobs because of this problem..," said Rex.

" Good Captain..," said the policeman then rushed to meet his colleague who was installing a police line around the broken glass.

Then Rex turned to Shezi who was still leaning on the cashier's desk. He frowned when he saw Shezi's standing position resting on only one leg.

" Are you hurt Zi...?" ask Rex.

" I'm Gapapa Captain, just shocked..," Shezi said in a trembling voice.

" Your legs hurt again...?" rex asked while observing Shezi's left foot.

" slightly. I just ran away when he came. Though the doctor forbade me to walk fast let alone run for a while," Shezi said with a wry smile.

Rex and Shezi's conversation comes to a halt as Dina and Tia rush in and hug Shezi. Rex breathed a sigh of relief and walked out to meet the residents who were still crowded in front of the pharmacy.

" Lo gapapa Zi. You ain't hurt, are you...?" dina asked while hugging Shezi.

" Alhamdulillah I am gapapa Na..," Shezi said.

" I'm sorry we didn't mention Lo earlier. We're afraid of Zi, she'll bring a real gun" Tia said in a regretful tone.

" Yes Ti, I understand. It's not just Lo who's scared, I am too. Moreover, he berating his gun to the head of I..," said Shezi while closing his eyes because he could not remember the bad incident earlier.

" Sit Zi first, drink yes so Lo can calm down a little." said Tia while thrusting a bottle filled with mineral water.

Shezi nodded then sat down on the chair with Dina's help. Shezi had a glance out where Rex was talking to the citizens. In her heart Shezi is grateful to be out of danger because of Rex's help.
