240. Degrees Rex

Having just heard the voice of a woman humming in the middle of the night, Shezi was seen docking towards Rex out of fear.

" You heard that voice, Captain...?" ask Shezi.

" Yes..," said Rex casually.

" Aren't you scared...?" shezi asked as she spread her gaze across the room.

" Don't, I'm used to hearing this rich voice. What do you think Zi.??" sounds...?" rex asked while observing Shezi's face fixed.

" The voice of a ghost, especially. It's strange, he said, five-star hotel but there are ghosts.", Shezi said.

Shezi's words make Rex laugh but unfortunately make the wife look uncomfortable.

" Ssttt.., don't laugh Captain...!" shezi said while covering Rex's mouth with both palms.

Shezi's actions brought Rex's laughter to a halt instantly. But not only that. Shezi's position that is very close to some of the clothes that are exposed makes Rex swallow his saliva with difficulty.

Realizing where Rex's gaze was, Shezi immediately released Rex and tidied up his revealing clothes.

" Keep your eyes, Captain...!" shezi said annoyed.

" Why do I have to keep my eyes on. You are my wife Zi..," Rex said with a smile.

" Yes yes. Don't talk about it first. Let's find the source of the voice, Captain. If you don't see me, we'll move to another room. I don't want to sleep in a haunted room" Shezi said, trying to get out of bed.

" No need to look for Zi." Rex said as he pulled Shezi's hand and brought her back to lie next to him.

" Why can't you find...?" shezi didn't understand.

" That's the humming sound that Nyai Hadini usually listens to tell me if something bad is going to happen around Me." Rex said.

" Well, what's going to happen to something bad around us Captain, right I heard that voice too...?" shezi asked worriedly.

" God willing, nothing will happen, my dear. We go back to sleep, yuk..," asked Rex while closing his eyes again.

" I don't want to..," Shezi said quickly to make Rex re-open his eyes.

" Why...?" ask Rex.

" I can't sleep if this is not over yet" Shezi said.

" What the hell is Zi. We haven't been married for 24 hours, so where could there be a problem...?" rex didn't understand.

" There is a Captain..," Shezi said quickly.

" Yes there is. And the only problem now is that you're the one who didn't want me to take my rights. But I don't mind and can still be patient. So I think our problem is clear and we can go back to sleep again Zi." Rex said patiently.

Shezi was upset to hear her husband's words. But Shezi's attitude changed when he again heard the woman's humming voice in the room. It sounded even closer as if it was right in his ear.

Shezi who initially refused to be hugged immediately hugged Rex and drowned her face in her husband's arms. Rex accepted Shezi's embrace with a satisfied smile. Rex also gave his thumbs up to Nyai Hadini who was standing in the corner of the room.

" Thank you Nyai..," whispered Rex until barely audible.

" Just this time you're asking me to scare your wife Rex. In the future you must try yourself to conquer him..," said Nyai Hadini while shaking his head.

" Yes, I know Nyai. But your hum was different from the hum you used to chant when you signaled danger to me. Am I really Nyai...?" ask Rex.

" Do something..," muttered Rex with a meaningful smile.

Rex's words made Nyai Hadini smile and just disappeared.

Shezi suddenly parsed her embrace while looking at Rex annoyed. She also grabbed a pillow and hit her husband with it.

" So you purposely want me and use my fear to fulfill your ambition, Captain...!" shezi said as he continued to attack Rex with a pillow even though Rex also continued to dodge to the right and to the left.

" Eh, what the fuck. I have no intention of nakutin You intentionally Zi.", Rex said as he got out of bed to avoid Shezi's blow.

" You think I'm deaf until I hear what you and Nyai talked about just now...!" shezi said as she rounded her eyes.

Rex is shocked to discover that Shezi has also heard what he is talking about with Nyai Hadini.

" So you also denger Zi...?!" ask Rex.

" Yes...!" sahut Shezi.

" If you are hearing what He and I are talking about, try to say what We discussed earlier...!" challenge Rex.

" You said that the humming that Nyai brought was different than usual. Keep fitting Nyai said that if the song was brought to encourage others to do something, you immediately have the idea in your head...?!" shezi said while shaking her waist.

" What idea do you mean...?" ask Rex pretending he doesn't know.

" Yes, the idea of the first night. Especially the mother..," Shezi said while glaring.

Rex was stunned by Shezi's ability to hear her talk with Nyai Hadini. But a moment later he smiled.

" If you've been horrified everything does that mean you're a permit I'm taking my right now Zi...?" rex asked as he stepped towards Shezi.

Shezi seemed panicked because she did not expect Rex to turn to attack him with questions that he still wanted to avoid. As Rex walked up to him, Shezi retreated slowly until his steps stopped because his feet hit the bed.

Shezi fell to his knees, closing his eyes, unable to imagine what Rex was going to do.

But what Shezi was worried about did not happen. Rex did approach her to kiss her forehead. Afterwards Rex collapsed beside Shezi in a face down position.

Shezi turned to look at Rex lying face down. A moment later Rex's soft snoring sounded a sign that the man had fallen asleep.

Shezi seemed to smile at how Rex could sleep quickly when they had argued before.

" I'm sorry, Captain. I don't want to give you your due, but right now I'm still ashamed. Hopefully after a few days I can get used to our new status and can immediately give what is rightfully yours..," Shezi said softly as she kissed Rex's cheek.

After saying that Shezi was lying next to Rex. While lying down Shezi observed the decoration of the room with shades of green and gold with a look of admiration. Apparently because of the tension Shezi did not have time to observe the decoration of their bridal room since the first entry there earlier.

Shezi smiled when she saw her name and Rex was plastered on the wall. Soon, he too fell asleep.

Realizing his wife was asleep Rex opened his eyes and changed his sleeping position. Apparently Rex deliberately pretended to sleep because he did not want to extend his debate with Shezi earlier.

" I must have been patient waiting for that moment, dear..," whispered Rex as she softly kissed Shezi's cheek.

Then Rex pulled out a blanket to cover his wife's body. Apparently Rex chose to lie down without a blanket because he was worried about being caliph if he had to lie in one blanket with Shezi.
