After nearly three months of service on the island of Madura, Rex and his troops were flown back to Jakarta.
The plane landed at Halim Perdana Kusuma air base at three in the morning. They were welcomed by Deputy Pangdam Jaya and his staff because Pangdam Jaya was traveling abroad.
Some families of the troops came to pick up and others chose to stay in their homes, including Ramon and his family.
Rex and troops who were not picked up by his family were driven by truck to the nearest location from their respective homes. Rex got off at the junction of the highway and walked leisurely towards the house.
Rex enjoys the dark atmosphere ahead of dawn while reciting. He looked out while continuing to move. Behind the grove of banana trees Rex saw a figure resembling a shabby-clad scroll standing while staring at him.
" gr, poci. Want to nakutin I yes, free. I've seen a lot more seremes than Lo..," said Rex, whizzing and continuing in his footsteps.
Rex's remarks provoke other invisible creatures to show themselves. They were milling around in front of Rex as if provoking Rex's attention. It seems that invisible creatures this time have to give up losing. Rex ignored their presence.
Suddenly Rex stops when he sees a group of teenagers running fast towards him. Rex put on an alert attitude and immediately pulled over because he did not want to be fooled.
Apparently the teenagers had just returned home after staying up at the patrol post. They run off the ridge because they cross paths with miss K who greets them flirtatiously.
" Kabuurrr Bang.., there is kuntiii...!" one of the teenagers ran fast.
Rex seemed to shake his head while staring at the group of teenagers who ran fast. After that, Rex walked back to his house. But unfortunately Rex's steps again stopped because of the actions of the teenagers.
Apparently the teenagers were turning around because of a similar disturbance at the end of the road. They kept screaming until they made a noise.
" Stop...!" rex said loudly to make the teenagers stop running.
They turned their heads in fear towards Rex and breathed a sigh of relief when they found out that the one who greeted them was human.
" Why do you run around in the morning rich blind gini ?. You don't know if you've disturbed the peace of the people...?!" rex asked as he looked at the teenagers one by one.
" Tau Bang..," said the teenagers simultaneously.
" When you know what is still done...?" ask Rex again.
" We want to stop running but can't bang. In all directions there is a demon and it scares us." said one teenager while staring around him.
" You are the better. Where there are demons in all directions.," Rex said annoyedly.
" real Bang. There's a kunti, there's a poci, there's a granny, there.." The teenager's speech was interrupted because Rex cut fast.
" You guys are wrong, so they're nongolous everywhere. Now honestly you guys are why, why does that ghost keep following you...?" rex asked while looking suspiciously at the teenagers before him.
The teenagers were silent while looking down. They appear to be moving restlessly due to the embarrassment the action has been known by Rex.
" If you don't want to be honest, I can't help you. I'm not a problem, but that means you have to be ready to be terrorized by the ghosts forever." said Rex scaring.
Rex's words managed to make the teenagers panic. They blame each other and make Rex smile. Then Rex stepped quietly away from the group of teenagers.
" Wait on Bang Rex !. We want to be honest. But please help so that the ghost does not follow Kami ya Bang..," pinta one of the hopeful teenagers.
Hearing her name called made Rex a little surprised. He sharpened his gaze and tried to recognize the teenager who mentioned his name earlier.
" You're Fadlan, Fatir's sister...?" ask Rex.
" Yes Bang..," said Fadlan relieved that Rex recognized him.
" Keep doing it here. Does Fatir know if you don't go home and still roam around at this hour...?" rex asked while staring in full search.
" Mmm.., that's Bang..," said Fadlan misbehaving.
" I ran out the window" said Fadlan to make all his friends laugh while Rex just shook his head.
" What do you want to tell me ?. Does this have something to do with the ghost that chased you earlier...?" ask Rex.
Fadlan nodded and said something that gave Rex a headache.
" We are playing jailangkung in an empty house near the field there Bang..," said Fadlan misbehaved.
" Main jailangkung...?" reset Rex.
" Yes Bang..," said Fadlan and his friends.
" You know what the risk is...?" ask Rex.
" You don't know, you know." said Fadlan and his friends.
Fadlan cs' random answer made Rex sigh long while scratching his non-itchy head.
" Abang actually tired because he just returned to service in East Java. The problems you create are simple but the solution is not as simple as you think. It takes a process and a little more time to get things back to normal. So we'd better find some time to solve everything so that the ghost doesn't chase you again" Rex explained.
" Will the ghost follow us on Bang...?" ask Fadlan's friend.
" That's a risk you have to accept. Dare to play with fire must be ready to burn. Do you understand what you mean, brother...?" rex asked while patting the teenager on the shoulder.
Fadlan and his friends nodded. They seem to regret their silly actions. As a result of trial and error now they must feel afraid because followed by the ghost he called earlier.
" Now you should go home to each other, " said Rex.
" We don't dare go home Bang. Must have been scolded if the roar came home in the morning. Moreover, we left without saying goodbye last night..," said Fadlan quickly.
" When that is better you go to the mosque and get ready to pray at Fajr. Brother followed after naro bag and change clothes..," said Rex who is owned by Fadlan and his friends.
" But don't be so long Bang.." - Pinta Fadlan.
" Why don't tell me you're scared. There are many people, places of worship as well. Ghosts must be afraid and dare not follow you. Especially if you join the congregational prayer continue to help the marbot clean the mosque..," said Rex ketus.
Rex's words make Fadlan and his friends misbehave. Then they walked together to the mosque. Upon arriving in front of his house, Rex broke away. He entered the house while the teenagers continued their steps towards the mosque.
Rex was welcomed by both of his parents.
" You go home, son." said Lanni as she spread out her hands.
Rex smiled and hugged Lanni tightly while kissing the mother's head affectionately. Afterwards he hugged Ramon equally tightly.
" Same father Mom stay up, huh...?" rex asked when he saw the two cups of coffee that were half-full.
" yes. We are deliberately waiting for you to come home..," said Lanni with a smile to make Rex touched.
" It's almost dawn. We pray in the mosque yuk..," Ramon asked while rubbing Rex's back.
" Well Ready. I cleaned up first huh..," Rex said as he rushed into the room.
Ramon nodded happily then sat waiting for Rex in the living room.
As the dawn prayer rang Ramon and Rex were on the way to the mosque. Lanni let go of her son and husband with a smile. Happiness was clearly visible on Lanni's face because the youngest child of her pride had returned into her arms.
