199. Elvira's Choice

The lover's departure makes one side of Rex's heart feel empty. Even though he can still make video calls, Rex feels different. Moreover, their time to talk is often delayed because of their respective busyness.

While waiting for the lover to respond to his phone, Rex also circulated his gaze to the corner of the room. At that moment Rex remembered the pungent smelling mucus sample he had taken from Elvira's room.

Rex rushed out of the room. He meets Ramon and Lanni. Seeing the child's disturbing attitude makes Ramon anxious and forced to come even though Rex initially refused.

" Let Daddy stop you, son. I'm calmer" said Lanni.

" Ok Ma'am. I'm leaving now yeah, come on. Well," Rex said as he rushed into the car.

The car drove quickly to the house of Ustadz Akbar. On the way Rex tells the father what to do later when he helps Elvira. Ramon seemed to nod his head in understanding.

When Ustadz Akbar recited, Ramon read some short surah according to Rex's message earlier. In front there Rex appears to stand upright after successfully injuring the stealth lizard.

" Stop bothering him or you'll feel the consequences...! " rex said furiously.

" Why are you so sure she doesn't want to be with me...?" ask the stealth lizard while smiling cynically.

" What do you mean...?" rex didn't understand.

" Ask him, whether he rejected me or wanted to come with me." said the demon lizard casually as he glanced at Elvira.

Rex looked at Elvira. He saw the girl was exhausted and barely able to survive. Rex rushed over to Elvira and asked her.

Rex turned his head and looked at the demon lizard with a sharp gaze to make the demon lizard's guts shrink.

Rex signals to ustadz Akbar who then moves closer to Elvira.

Elvira seemed to move her lips to follow the words of the ustadz even though no sound came out of her lips.

After saying those words, Elvira closed her eyes. Ustadz Akbar bowed deeply and then said istirja.

" Inna Lillahi wainna ilaihi rojiuun.., "murm ustadz Akbar with tears breaking.

Ramon seemed to take a deep breath when he found out Elvira had died. After saying istirja, Ramon helped ustadz Akbar reverse the body of Elvira's face down in order to be recumbent.

Rex was still standing in his original position while staring nanar towards a point. There he saw Elvira smiling happily in the arms of Halim, the demon lizard incarnate man. Even before leaving the two turned to look towards Rex.

" I promise I will take care of her and make her happy Rex..," said the stealth lizard as he hugged Elvira tightly and vanished with the wind.

Rex rubbed his face with a huff and glanced at Elvira's body.

" May you be happy with your choice Elvira..," Rex said with a meaningful smile.
