154. Hostaged

Then Rex saw the owner of the hand brandishing the gun he was carrying to Feri's head. That is why Feri looks resigned and follows the storyline made by the man.

" Road way out of town...!" the man in the back seat orders.

" I. yes..," said Feri while stepping on the gas pedal and drove his car towards the toll gate.

The fast-moving car split the highway towards the outskirts of town. The focused ferry stared ahead without once daring to glance towards the faintly drooping Zada beside him.

Half an hour later the man asked Feri off the highway to a village. The rocky road made it a little difficult for Feri to make him look at the man sitting in the back seat.

" Is there no other way Bang ?. The road ahead is broken. If forced forward, the tires could leak and we can not continue the trip again.", said Feri while looking at the man.

It was then that Feri could clearly see the man's face. The man who was observing Zada was startled and then tried to cover his face with his palm. Apparently he did not want to be recognized by Feri who could make his identity known later.

" Don't look or you'll know the consequences...!" sniff the man.

" i. yes. Sorry Bang. So how's Bang...?" tanya Feri was frightened as she turned her gaze towards the front.

" Stop right here. Help me get the girl out" said the man, opening the back door.

Afterwards Feri opened the door and carried Zada and followed the man. The man was headed to an empty house. The condition of the house is still quite well maintained. Although some of the wall paint and sills have peeled off, but the house is clean.

The ferry came in and put Zada's body on the floor because there was no furniture there.

After putting Zada on the floor, Feri circulated his gaze to the corner of the room. But what Feri did made the man angry then hit Feri until Feri fell stranded on the floor.

Zada did not answer. He got up and moved away from the man.

Zada is still silent. He started crying in fear and it made Tako laugh. But in between his tears Zada can see if the way Tako walks is much different from before. Tako who is now a disabled man. Apparently, Tako's left leg was injured somehow to make him unable to walk normally.

Realizing the danger threatened him, Zada began to look for a gap to run. He ran quickly towards the door and pulled the door handle with all his might.

Nyai Hadini turned to look at Zada and smiled.

Hearing Zada and Nyai Hadini's talk made Tako snort angrily and then pushed forward to reach Nyai Hadini.
