25. Come

Rex rushed out of the TNI headquarters in East Jakarta numbers as the clock showed at three in the afternoon. Rex is going to pick up his sister. For some reason after hearing Lilian's story yesterday, Rex continued to be haunted by anxiety. He feared that his brother suffered a similar fate to the patient who was abused in the toilet.

Rex drove his motorbike at high speed in order to arrive at the Hospital immediately. Rex took a quick step into the nurse's room to make sure Lilian was okay.

" Sister Fani...!" call Rex loud.

" Eh, you're Rex. Tumben's here, you want to pick Lian up...?" ask Fani kindly.

" Yes Brother. Does Brother Lian exist...?" ask Rex.

" The shift is over, maybe he went to the toilet again..," said Fani when she did not find Lilian in the room.

Seeing the change in Rex's face made Fani and Lilian laugh. Rex smiled when he found out he was being bullied by Lilian.

Fani also returned the wave of Rex's hand with a flirtatious smile to make Lilian even more upset.

Then Rex and Lilian stepped into the parking lot. Again Rex heard the exact same humming sound as he had heard a while ago. Rex also circulated his gaze in all directions to find the source of the sound, but nil.

" Search what the hell Rex...?" lillian asked as she stared in all directions.

" What's something...?" lillian did not understand.

Luckily the sky was still bright because of the afternoon. So Lilian wasn't too worried or afraid to hear the sister's question.

" Sort of a sad musical sound or song that.", said Rex origin.

" Oh that. I was horrified, it came from a loudspeaker at the parking counter there Rex..," said Lilian while pointing towards the row of parking counters.

Rex let out a long sigh because he realized that what he said was in vain. He shook his head because he did not get an answer that was in accordance with his wishes.

" Hopefully the strange sound is not a bad sign, ." muttered Rex as he drove off the hospital.

Rex parked his bike right next to his dad's car. But a moment later Rex and Lilian were staring at each other when they heard the sound of laughter in the house.

" Tumben rame is great. What's wrong with Rex...?" lillian asked while opening the helmet.

" There are guests, brother." said Rex.

" Who is the guest to make a house this row...?" ask Lilian again.

" Other than curious we enter aja Kak..," said Rex while holding Lilian's hand.

Lilian nodded then followed Rex's steps leading her inside the house.

" Assalamualaikum..," said Rex and Lilian together.

" Wa alaikumsalam..," said everyone in the house.

" Well that's them coming home...!" lanni said enthusiastically.

The three guests who sat back to the door turned their heads and smiled at Rex and Lilian.

" Hi T-Rex...!" greet a man kindly while standing up and waving his hand towards Rex.

Rex rounded his eyes when he recognized the man who greeted him. Rex rushed over to the man who was none other than Gama and hugged him tightly. Gama seems to return Rex's embrace while laughing.

Everyone laughed when they saw Rex and Gama hugging each other tightly.

" Usah Rex, ntar dikirain people I'm gay because of the same hug Lo...!" gama said loudly while pushing Rex away from him.

Rex laughs and breaks Gama's hair with anxiety to make everyone laugh again.

The atmosphere at Ramon's house that afternoon was noticeably more crowded than usual due to the arrival of Gama and his parents.
