Chapter 8 To the house of in-laws

Hendri today will visit his mother's house, of course, he invited his beloved wife Arumi. Hendri today began to dare to meet his mother and want to invite make up again. Hendri wants to improve his relationship with his mother who has been estranged for almost two months.

"You are ready Arumi," asked Hendri who was ready with a neat makeup.

"It's ready. But my heart is not ready. I'm still afraid to meet your mother. What if he's like yesterday? Still hate me and do not want to accept me who has become his daughter-in-law," said Arumi Lirih while looking at Hendri.

"Don't be afraid, let's try first who knows the mother has changed," said Hendri while clutching Arumi's body trying to convince him.

"Yes, let's try first, my mother, may be open to accept me and accept our marriage."

"Well that's the spirit, we have to fight to get the heart of mom. We have to try and be sure that we're going to win Mom's heart."

"Okay Mas, I'll try to take mom's heart."

"It's ready, let's go" Hendri asked.

"Come!!!" Reply Arumi with a feisty smile.

 

Hendri hopes that his arrival later to his mother's house can make his mother realize. After all Hendri will have children with Arumi. 

They both say goodbye to Grandma Suryati. Before leaving, Arumi gets a message from Suryati's grandmother to stay nice to her in-laws. Arumi also agreed to the wise message of her Grandmother.

The two of them began to leave their house to walk towards the highway. Hendri stops the taxi and rides with Arumi to his mother's house.

Just a few minutes have arrived at his mother Hendri's house.

"Let's go down, we're there."

Arumi got off the taxi alternating with Hendri. They both stopped for a moment before entering the house. Hendri looked inside at his mother's house.

"I miss the atmosphere of this house. Just over a month ago I left it felt like I had been leaving it for years. I feel like I want to go back to living in this house like I used to" said Hendri.

"You want to go back to this house?" Ask Arumi.

"Of course pingin. This has been my home since childhood. If my mother told me to stay here again but I have to be with you I would be willing. But if I'm not with you I don't want to."

"As for you, I go where I want to take me. As a wife, you have to obey and obey your husband. I hope you accept us in this house"

"Hopefully yes. Let's go inside," Hendri asked while holding Arumi's hand.

Hendri and Arumi had arrived at the door. Fear begins to rage haunting in Arumi's heart. Arumi recalled the first time she set foot into this house with many insults that made her heart ache. 

Now Arumi's hands are trembling again as they were afraid to face his mother Hendri who is now his father-in-law.

"Assalamualaikum..," said Hendri from behind the closed door of Mia's house.

"Mas I'm so scared."

 

Arumi's face looked worried and scared again.

"You don't be afraid, I'm always with you and will defend you if my mother returns to do you no good" Hendri said, calming Arumi down by clasping Arumi's hand tightly and not letting go.

No answer from inside the house. Hendri tried to say hello again.

"Assalamualaikum..," said Hendri loudly.

"Waalaikum salam..," replied Salsa in between a conversation with her mother.

"Who is coming. No guests have been coming to this house for a long time. Hurry up you see who's coming" said Mia.

"Good Mom."

"Sir Hendri" cried Salsa when he saw Hendri coming from the house. Salsa was happy that her brother finally wanted to visit her home.

Salsa screams could be heard into Mia's ears.

"Hendri!! Hendri's coming. Hendri came here."

Mia is very happy Hendri came here.

"Hendri must have realized that he was guilty so he decided to go home to this house leaving his wife sir," said Mia.

Salsa is very hysterical to see her brother coming with his wife Arumi. Salsa hugged Hendri to release his kangen. Salsa hugged her sister-in-law, Arumi.

"Let's go in, sister" asked Salsa.

Hendri and Arumi look heavy footsteps when entering Mia's house. I have a lot of fear and a lot of questions. Arumi was behind Hendri as if afraid of facing his in-laws.

"Let's see who's coming" Salsa said, stretching out her arms.

Mia is engrossed in watching tv pretending not to know Hendri's arrival.

"Who?"

Mia looked towards Hendri who was standing parallel to Arumi. 

"Why did you come here?" Ask Mia with her brush.

"I want to meet Mom and Salsa because I miss. And this is my wife Arumi. We are now husband and wife."

 

Umi snarled with her mouth turned.

"Mom already knows that you're married to Arumi. Mother still doesn't like it. Why did you bring him here."

"Me and Arumi want to be in touch with Mom, Arumi will already be Mom's daughter-in-law, I admit Mom. What's wrong with the marriage has happened and soon we will have children" said Hendri.

"What!! Have kids!!" Shouted Mia was very surprised to hear Hendri's words both netraannya glared as if in disbelief and did not accept to hear Hendri's statement.

Arumi became afraid, who had been standing in line with Hendri now she hid again behind the back of her husband.

"So you both want to have children!! Your wife pregnant? My head hurts so much."

Suddenly Mia collapsed from her seat, so shocked. His hand holding his head might have his blood pressure rising.

"Mother, Mother" said Salsa, approaching her mother.

Hendri also approached Mia who was limp on the sofa. While Arumi was still standing in her place did not dare to come closer to her father-in-law who was in shock to hear her pregnancy.

"Mother is not papa" said Hendri.

"You, you've crossed the line. Why are you pregnant. You really want to take Hendri away from me" said Mia angrily pointing at Arumi. Arumi shrieked even more, not daring to say anything.

"Beware Mom, don't blame Arumi. It is our destiny to be husband and wife and have children. Blessed are we to be mothers' children so that we may all be happy."

"Yes ma'am realize, bless them and let your sister stay here. They will have children and be the grandchildren of the mother. Don't you want to have a grandchild soon."

"Huh.., why are you urging me. My head is getting sick..."

Mia fainted unconscious, causing Hendri Salsa and Arumi to panic.

"Mom why did you faint like this" Salsa said in a panic.
