Chapter 13 Like a maid

The work is done. In the room that was only illuminated by a faint light on this already silent night they both passed by walking side by side towards his room.

"Honey, come here," Hendri's hand patted the bed gesturing Arumi to sit with him.

 

Hendri asks Arumi to approach him. Arumi who had finished wearing his hijab he also approached Hendri who was sitting on the edge of the bed. Arumi sat down parallel to him as hinted at him.

 

"What's wrong?" Ask Arumi.

"What's the talk? No mas. I'm happy to stay here with you and your family" Arumi said as she looked at her husband with all her heart. Hendri breathed a heavy sigh.

 

"I know you'd say that. I'm sorry, who made you like this. You must have felt heartache from hearing my mother's scorching nagging even more than that."

 

Arumi looked back at her worried husband.

 

"Mas I'm not papa, why do you feel guilty like that. You know I am a strong and unyielding woman for me living in this house is like wading through the ocean in the middle of the ocean I have to be sturdy and survive so as not to be carried away by the strong winds that hit for achieve the goal," Arumi showed the strength of her heart to Hendri.

 

"I'm happy to stay here with you, we'll be happy. Life must be a rock in the way. As long as we live patiently may God open the way for us."

Arumi's remarks were so convincing to Hendri and showed that Arumi's strong and strong wife faced various problems. Hendri was very excited. Hendri also buried Arumi's body into his arms.

Arumi and Hendri head to the kitchen. Arumi will make breakfast for all the residents of this house. Hendri helps Arumi in the kitchen. While still have time and can help, Hendri will help Arumi before leaving for work even though he does not want Hendri to help him.

 

Salsa was the same, because she felt sorry for her sister-in-law who did all this homework she was very eager to help. But what is the power of his mother is very hard forbid it.

 

Such is the life of Arumi now who lives in the house of her in-laws is nothing but a maid. But Arumi can accept and feel happy to be able to live with her husband and family.
