Chapter 34 Lucky

Melinda continued to search for Hendri's whereabouts.

 

"I'm sure I saw Hendri, where he was. Kok can say there is no trace anyway," muttered Melinda while clingak-clinguk.

 

Feeling unable to find Hendri Melinda will be out of the store, and back through Arumi who has finished paying for all her groceries. Arumi will bring her things to Salsa's aid.

Mia has left the cashier since she said she wanted to go to another store.

 

Arumi and Salsa seemed to me to have brought so much stuff .

Melinda, who runs into Arumi and Salsa, offers to help bring her things. Although feeling bad for the person he just met, Arumi finally wanted to be helped.

 

Hendri had come out of the toilet, while walking full of misgivings in his heart, he was afraid to meet Melinda because she was currently with her family. Hendri walked towards the baby supply store. Hendri was surprised to see Melinda coming out of the store along with Arumi. Hendri immediately hid himself, afraid to see Melinda 

 

Hendri watched Melinda walk parallel to Arumi who had a big belly. Salsa was behind them. They all carry the same bag.

 

"Why did Melinda get to be with Salsa and Arumi, and where is mom," Hendri muttered a little annoyed. Hendri followed them, sometimes he hid afraid to be found out with Melinda.

 

"Oh.., how is this why there should be Melinda here. Doesn't he work. How later if Melinda knows, if the one with her is my wife, it could ruin my career and messy," complained Hendri.

 

Hendri was busy thinking of ways to keep Melinda from being with his wife. 

 

"Who were you looking for? Kok seems to have not met," asked Arumi while walking parallel to Melinda.

 

"I'm looking for someone I love so much, he's not with me this day, I feel like I miss a lot. Uh, I was as bright as my eyes saw him around here, I was looking for no find," said Melinda.

 

"Oh that, maybe because he's so scared of her, other people you think of her" Arumi cried.

 

"Sister's girlfriend" Salsa added.

 

"Yes, she's my sister's boyfriend and soon to be my husband. I don't think I can do anything without him. I skipped work because of him" Melinda said again.

 

"Well, until so much love is the same brother," said Salsa.

 

"Yes this is how people are kasmaran again," said Arumi.

 

Hendri still has not found a way to make Melinda leave Arumi. He's still trailing from behind.

 

"Where will it be when Melinda reaches the car, it can be found if it's the car I brought here." Hendri was very worried and scared. Repeatedly his hands beat his eel.

 

Already at the exit, Melinda still wants to help Arumi bring her things. Hendri saw it.

 

"This plane, it's bad, don't let Melinda want to run until the car. Hih.., that woman pissed me off. He always made me work hard. Although on my day off," Hendri muttered very upset and also afraid.

 

Luckily, Arumi meets Mia. Mia immediately took over the goods that Melinda had brought. Mia thanked him a lot for his help. Melinda finally left them. Hendri was relieved.

 

"Alhamdulillah, you're finally gone Mel." Hendri gave thanks while stroking his chest.

 

After seeing Melinda getting away, Hendri immediately joined his family who had arrived in the parking lot. Hendri invites everyone in the car, and will take him to another place that is more interesting.

 

They went for a walk and had fun, and now they finally got home. Everyone looks exhausted. What's more is an old pregnant Arumi, who's still doing her homework left on a day that's already tonight. 

 

Arumi did it herself without the help of anyone who now feels tired all including her husband Hendri. But Arumi felt grateful today was a happy day because she could spend the day with her husband and family.

The day had changed, as usual Hendri left for work at seven. Arumi is busy with her homework.

Starting today Arumi is no longer working in the boutique, Arumi will visit Suryati's grandmother. 

 

 

"Mom, I'm willing to go to grandma's house for a while" said Arumi as she kissed the back of her in-laws' hands who were sitting relaxed while watching television.

 

"It's not done yet with homework!" Mia said with her stuff.

 

"It's mom, it's all done" replied Arumi softly.

 

"Hurry home, don't stop by anywhere. Be careful your stomach is big. And don't forget to buy Mom souvenirs as usual," a series of messages Mia 

 

"Yes ma'am, I'll be careful, thanks for the attention."

 

"God! You don't gr yeah, I want my grandson safe, you have to keep him know."

 

"Yes Mom, I understand. Excuse me first. Assalamu aleikum!"

 

"Maalaikumsalaam."

 

Arumi immediately went out of the house, so as not to hear the ravings of her father-in-law who had become so, who still could not accept it. Arumi let out a long sigh to remove the tightness in her chest due to her in-laws speech.

 

"I must be patient and strong, this is the test of my life and love. I'll hold on to Hendri. We will be happy later," Arumi murmured to calm her heart that passed away from her home.

 

I can't wait for Arumi to meet her grandmother, whom she hasn't been visiting for a long time.

Arumi walks past the narrow alley to Suryati's grandmother's house, carrying Grandma's favorite cake and also the clothes that Arumi bought yesterday for her grandmother.

 

"Assalamualaikum..," said Arumi.

 

"Waalaikum salaam" replied the grandmother.

 

"Eh, Grandma's granddaughter came. Early in the morning has come. Did you stop by here before you went to your boutique to work?" ask Suryati's grandmother.

"No, Grandma, I'm here so early because I miss Grandma so much" Arumi said.

"Grandma's also miss you Rumi."

Suryati's grandmother hugged Arumi, but she let go.

"Your stomach is very big, you will be Rumi's baby again." Arumi in elus has the same big belly as Suryati's grandmother.

 

"Yes Nek, soon I'll be born."

 

"Let's sit down, you must be capet, walk up to here."

Arumi's purpose is to tell Suryati's grandmother that Arumi will stay here after her child is born. Arumi wants to be with her Grandma.

 

Arumi does not want to stay at Mia's house after giving birth, she will take time off from her homework because she has to rest and focus on taking care of the baby. Arumi hasn't told Hendri and his in-laws. After Suryati's grandmother agrees, Arumi will tell her husband and her in-laws. Arumi hopes everyone agrees.

 

Arumi also told her grandmother that she would stay here after giving birth to her child. Without further ado, Suryati's grandmother agreed to the wishes of her beloved granddaughter. Arumi was delighted to hear the reply from Grandma.

Later after returning home, Arumi will tell her husband and also her in-laws. Arumi hopes they agree like her grandmother.
