Chapter 23 Waiting for Hendri's arrival

Both of them were lulled with compliments that were thrown at each other. Until they realized it was night. Their eyes widened when Hendri said it had been seven in the night and they were still in the office that looked quiet because all the employees had gone home.

 

Melinda quickly walked out of her room followed by Hendri behind her. They came out along with their quick steps towards the elevator and descended on the bottom floor. They both headed straight for the parking lot. 

 

Hendri will go home with Melinda, and at Melinda's request. That's part of his job. From this moment Hendri has started working as an assistant to Melinda. Wherever Melinda wants, Hendri must be willing to accompany her.

 

Now Hendri is increasingly in a complicated situation, thinking about the requirements of his mother is not over instead got a new problem, which could threaten his career and affect his finances. 

 

Hendri was in one car with Melinda. Hendri was driving his car. Melinda told Hendri to take her home. On the way he saw Hendri with a crumpled face and lethargic not excited.

 

Hendri saw the clock in his hand, it turned out that the dinner hour had passed. Hendri is not excited because he is hungry.

 

Melinda is also hungry. So before arriving home, Melinda invited Hendri to dinner first at her favorite restaurant. Hendri just happened to be very hungry stomach too.

 

In the car they exchanged words about each other. Instantly they became familiar, Melinda was very happy with Hendri at this time. Hendri was also carried away by the happy atmosphere of the boss. Many times he showed his smile that had been lost all day.

 

At home, Arumi was waiting for Hendri's arrival. Arumi hasn't had dinner at the hour that already showed at eight. The sound of rumbling in his stomach always teased him. Arumi wanted to have dinner with Hendri but Hendri did not come as well which had been awaited since.

 

Arumi exited the house to see if Hendri had been seen outside the gate. After Arumi noticed there was no sign of her husband coming.

 

"Mas Hendri hasn't come home yet, where is he? If he's overtime, why don't you tell me. Usually they are told by message. This whole day he didn't even send a message at all" Arumi muttered as her finger busily opened her gadjed checking the incoming messages.

 

And no message from Hendri came in today. Arumi was worried about her husband. Who has not come home and has not told me. 

 

"Did something happen to Mas Hendri. It was night time not home. There's no other choice I have to call her." 

 

Because there is no news at all Arumi will contact her husband. Arumi ignores a message from Hendri that forbids him from contacting her while at the office.

 

Arumi can only send messages. But this time it was an emergency, a sense of annoyance and worry covering Arumi's heart. Arumi was afraid of something happening with her husband who did not tell her all day.

 

Melinda is already at her favorite restaurant that provides sea food with Hendri. The two of them were engrossed in talking while enjoying a meal on the day that was already tonight.

 

When Hendri was laughing freely enjoying his jokes with Melinda, the sound of his hand phonetic ringing surprised him. Melinda was surprised.

 

He took the phone in his pants pocket. Seen on the call screen with the name Arumi dear. Instantly read, Hendri immediately shifted the red button. Hendri won't answer Arumi's phone. Hendrii is currently at work.

 

"Who's phone? why don't you lift," asked Melinda who had noticed Hendri's behavior.

 

"Ah, it doesn't matter from whom, I will work so no one can disturb."

 

"Well, by the way you are very professional, I like you" Melinda said.

 

"Like me?" Hendri was a little surprised by Melinda's words.

 

"Don't gr, I mean I like your performance."

 

"Oh...."

 

Hendri's hand phone rang again, and it was on the call screen from Arumi again. Quickly Hendri's finger pressed the red button and turned off his phone. Hendri again continued eating again that was not finished.

 

"Why not raised, I have twice contacted Mas Hendri even mocked. Is he still busy working until this hour, not telling you anyway."

 

Arumi was still waiting for Hendri on the front porch. He was not tired of waiting even though he was hungry. Mia also hasn't slept at the clock that already showed at nine. In her room Mia felt unsettled because she knew that Hendri had not come home.

 

Mia was worried that Hendri would not want to go home because he did not care about Hendri who wanted to talk seriously with him.

 

"Hendri's home or not?" Mia said as she woke her body from her sleep.

 

Mia came out of her room to see if Hendri had gone home or not. He passed through Salsa's room whose door was open. 

 

"You haven't slept Salsa?"

 

 

"By the way your brother's home or not?"

 

"Why nanyain Brother has come home or not, I'm worried yes. Just this morning I'm now confused nanyain brother has come home or not."

 

"Hey, asked to stay answered not yet or already, even nerocos aja intimidating Mother."

 

"Yes my style now follows the trend in this house, like Mom," Salsa chanted.

 

"Huh.., you!"

 

Mia left her daughter who upset her without giving an answer. Mia wondered if Hendri had gone home or not. Mia will make sure of it herself. He walked through Hendri's room looking lonely, Mia also tried to open the door of the room and it was not in the key. Seen in Hendri's room there was no one.

 

"Arumi also where he had gone home was not in his room," muttered Mia while continuing her steps to find Arumi's whereabouts.

 

The door of the house was still open, Mia headed to the door and saw outside Arumi sitting alone.

 

"Well, you're out at this hour, aren't you pregnant?" Mia asked with her attention on Arumi's pregnancy.

 

"I'm waiting for Mas Hendri Bu, he hasn't come home yet?"

 

"Waiting to be inside, why outside. Hawanya is not good for pregnant women like you come in," Mia joked.

 

"Good Mom."

 

Arumi entered the house with Mia from behind.

 

"So Hendri hasn't come home yet? Why are you waiting for him outside. Where's she not going home?"

 

"I don't know Mom, Mas Hendri didn't tell me, I didn't call it up."

 

"Don't Hendri be angry with me, and don't want to go home. Is hendri frustrated because of the requirements I have given him," Mia's mind was full of worry.

 

"Have you eaten?" 

 

"Not yet, I want to wait for Mas Hendri to come."

 

"So soon you haven't eaten yet still want to wait for Hendri to come home. What if Hendri does not come home. You are pregnant. Quickly you eat pity your baby is starving. I don't want my grandson to be unwell. You must make it healthy by fulfilling its nutrition. Don't give up your own will" said Mia angrily.

 

But even Arumi was happy, it turns out that her in-laws were still paying attention about her who was pregnant with her granddaughter.
