"Effort to look ordinary." murmured Moses softly. He could see clearly Ara who looked very nervous. Moses slept on the couch last night for fear that anyone would come in and kidnap the girl. Then there was a knock on the door from outside. Moses' instincts are strong. He could hear someone coming to his room.
After the man saw that Ara was already not so nervous, he stood up to the door and opened it. A female servant stood in front of him.
"Young master, breakfast is ready. You and the lady." the waiter glanced inside for a moment.
"His name is Ara." Moses interrupted in a low voice.
"Sorry, I mean Miss Ara. You were told to go down by the great master." the servant continued.
"alright. We'll be down in a minute" Moses said, then closed the door again. Leaving the maid who was still standing dumbly. He really wondered who the girl named Ara was. Why could his young master allow him to sleep in his own room while there were many guest rooms. Even their great master knew the girl. The waiter's curiosity got stronger. He came closer to the door and pointed his ear to the wall of the door, anyone could hear his young master talking to the girl from the outside.
But had not been able to continue the action, two bodyguards came as if forbidding him from doing inappropriate actions in that example. The waiter smiled in embarrassment and quickly left.
"Who?" ask Ara. Moses sat back by his side.
"Servant. His dad told us both to come down for breakfast." Ara nodded in understanding.
"You sure our plan will work? Ravel and the others won't do anything?" ask the girl again. He was only worried that something bad was happening to the people he loved.
Moses looked at the girl for a while then leaned forward. His hands held up both his shoulders.
"As long as we can hand the goods over to the prosecution. You and your family will be safe. I'll call someone I know at the prosecutor's office. And ask them to protect your family." said the man trying to calm Ara down.
Although his father was a notorious mobster in their world, Moses never actually got involved in doing evil with them. Since childhood he has indeed learned martial arts, shooting and more. Almost everything he's mastered. But all he did was protect himself and others who were innocent. He knew his father and Ara's father had enormous power. Even
the police cannot arrest them. Because their tracks are always clean. The crimes they have committed have been carefully prepared. If there are people they kill, the trail is difficult to find. But they couldn't have killed Ara. After all the girl was the flesh and blood of her own father. Moses had to be very careful. Perhaps when their father found out the item they were looking for had been handed over to the prosecution and protected by the state, his father would be furious. It wouldn't have a good impact on him let alone Ara. He must protect the girl until her father's anger disappears.
"Let's get down now. Remember, just act normal in front of my dad. The old man was a little suspicious" Moses said, again helping Ara get out of bed.
Ara according. He began to consider Moses as a friend. Since the man was siding with her, there was no harm in them being friends. Although his heart was only for Karrel. He was sure Moses would understand and would not force him to accept the engagement.
At the dining table, Mr. Ruff had been sitting at the head of the table. Moses shifts the chair to the right of the table and lets Ara sit. His actions were not free from his father's attention.
"Something happened to you last night? You guys aren't intimate, are you?"
Moses coughing. Oh, my God, what did the old man say. How can he fuck a girl he just met. Moreover, the girl was still as innocent as this Ara.
"Don't talk to me. What do you think I'm a man?" his reply. Ara herself was embarrassed. Who would not be ashamed to get such an unexpected question.
"I'm just testing. Do not put it in the heart. Let's eat." said Mr. Ruff again. They eat without a word. The atmosphere felt so awkward. None of them spoke.
"Ara, I'm sorry. Maybe some time in the future you can't go back to school. There are too many enemies out there who are after you." said Mr. Ruff again opening his voice. Ara just smiled awkwardly.
"And about the necklace that your father and I asked you about, are you sure you don't remember? It's possible that you forgot to put it somewhere." the old man continued on as he continued to chew food. The words made Ara look at Moses. But Moses pretended not to see it and focused on eating. He did not want Ara's movements to make his father suspicious.
Their plan could fail miserably if the old man were to get suspicious. Moses therefore acted unconcerned about anything planned by his father. He only hoped that Ara could act well.
"I'm trying to remember, it seems like I used to have a necklace like you asked."
ara's words managed to make Mr. Ruff stop chewing and focus his gaze on the girl. Moses himself was quite surprised by the girl's words. Why did he say that anyway. That girl must be planning something else.
"But I forgot where to keep it. I have to go back home to find her."
Thinks. Moses snarled in his heart. Stupid girl. What if their plan fails.
"Moses can accompany you home to search for that item" said Mr. Ruff directly. He was getting excited to hear that thing was on Ara. It was not in vain that they searched for the girl for many years.
"I have an important appointment with my friend today. We'll just go tomorrow." Moses said flatly. Mr. Ruff looked at his son with an objectionable expression. But what can I do. He'll agree.
"Then Ara, are you okay if I see you alone in this house? Tomorrow you can go with Moses looking for the necklace."
Ara smiled and nodded. He didn't see Moses' face. Sloppy girl. He had to rethink his original plan. If he and the girl leave tomorrow, he'll have to see the actor today. Hopefully, her brother Ara has found that thing. So that he can call the prosecutor and hand it over directly. Great, this girl is great. Make it work in a hurry.
