ARAKAS

ARAKAS
Chapter 42

Home from school, Karrel is already faithfully waiting in front of Ara's class. Almost ten minutes the man stood, leaning against the wall with his chest closed while listening to music.

This incident made Karrel more alert. He did not want the same thing to happen to Ara. He had to make sure the girl got to his house in good shape.

"Ra, look at it." exclaimed Manda at Ara, pointing to where Karrel was standing with his chin. Ara's other friends were smiling at Ara. They feel Ara is very lucky to be close to popular guys like Karrel. There are Devin and the Stars too.

"Enak tuh, there is a loyal doi waiting to go home together" said Laras deliberately showed his irish look. The others nodded. Yesterday they also saw Ara in the same bell as Karrel. Maybe they've been made up again but Ara deliberately lied. Can't be allowed. If they are already there must be a massive deal.

"What the hell," Ara chirped at her friends. But they kept teasing him until he got embarrassed. Her face flushed.

"Samperin gihs. Karrel has been waiting a long time to know," whispered Laras in Ara's ear.

Ara herself walked quickly towards Karrel. He stopped in front of the guy. Karrel, who was aware of Ara's whereabouts, hurriedly removed his earphones, put them in his pants pocket and smiled at Ara.

"What are you doing in front of my class?" ask Ara. He has to make sure. Maybe Karrel wasn't waiting for him but he was already a geer.

"Wait for you, who else?

ara's gaze moved to the noisy voices teasing her from in front of her class. Who else if not his friends try. Their distance was indeed close, so they could hear the conversation of Karrel and Ara. Ara became ashamed of herself because she felt her friends were very lonely.

Then without a second thought the girl grabbed Karrel's wrist and left. Karrel himself only let Ara lead him with a smile. They stopped under the stairs near the library. The place is already deserted when you go home to school like this. There are only a handful of students who are too fond of learning who are still inside. But usually people who like to learn it is not too fond of gossip. So, even if they saw Karrel and Ara talking there they would not care much about it. That's according to Ara.

"By the way here, in front of the class I'm not safe. Many friends who see." said Ara.

Karrel chuckles,

"What if your friends see us talking?" he looked straight at Ara. The girl in front was now holding her chest staring at him.

"You weren't horrified? They think I'm dating you. That's why I kept on teasing. How the hell?" babble Ara is sebal. Karrel was more and more interested in the conversation.

"We both look like dating people, naturally your friends are wrong." he replied.

"But the truth is we're not dating, I can't be dating you either!"

ara's words instantly removed the smile on Karrel's face. He felt his chest squeezed. He looked seriously at the girl. Karrel was sure that as long as they started to know each other and spent a lot of time together, Ara was happy with him. The girl slowly started to depend on him. Although there is no clarity in their relationship, Karrel knows Ara also considers the two of them to be in an unusual relationship.

"Why," muttered the guy quietly.

"Why can't we date?" he looked into Ara's eyes with a gaze so deep and demanding. He demanded an answer from the girl. Want to know the reason why Ara said a sentence that she did not want to hear earlier.

Because Ravel's sister is not going to bless our relationship.

Ara could only answer the real reason in her heart. Nor was she a foolish girl who did not know what kind of relationship she was in with Karrel. He knew the reason the man treated her so well and was different from other women.

There was once a time when Ara and the Stars were just alone. They had a long conversation and Bintang had said that he had never seen Karrel pay attention to women before. So the Star concluded Karrel must have liked it. Honestly when I heard that Ara was happy. He also found himself starting to like the guy.

At the beginning of his meeting with Karrel he did not really like, he felt Karrel was a cold man who was arrogant, annoying and difficult to guess. But getting closer to him, he slowly finds out Karrel is actually a caring man. Just his outer appearance was like that.

Karrel also understood himself very well. Ara naturally wanted to be with someone who was as considerate and self-understanding as Karrel. In any case the guy is perfect in his eyes. You can argue when you want to argue, get angry if you make a mistake, comfort when you are sad, and accept yourself as you are. If you remember again, even though they have not known for long, Karrel is the one who understands him the most. The guy also knows all the secrets he can't tell his friends.

But, her brother's words last night put her in a dilemma. He doesn't know what to do. Ara bit her lips softly.

"I want us to..."

"Near as a friend? It's only in your dreams." cut Karrel as if he knew what Ara was going to say.

"I'm sure you're well aware I never thought of you as a friend, I want more Ara" added the man with certainty but also frustration in his heart. What if Ara refuses? No, he had to convince the girl.

Ara was stunned, she knew Karrel's intent. But he could not make a decision. As the girl stared down, her attention was turned to the injured knuckles of Karrel. Reflex he grabbed Karrel's hand and looked at the guy. Forget their serious talk for a moment. He focused on the wound on the man's hand.

"This why?" tanyakanya. He wondered why he had not seen the injury since he was with the guy at all. Oh my goodness, he should have been more attentive.

"I hit the wall" answered Karrel. He himself had forgotten that there was a wound in his hand. Today his mind was only filled with Ara. The girl in front of him was upset.

"You can still get a bike, right?" ask Ara again. Karrel nodded.

"Let's go to the dispensary now." then without thinking Ara's permission pulled Karrel into the parking lot.
