ARAKAS

ARAKAS
Chapter 62

"Search what?"

Ara looked up to hear that voice. He saw Karrel behind him. The guy was wearing regular clothes, not a school uniform like when he left. Maybe change at home. I don't know. It doesn't matter if Ara asks that.

"Why are you back? The business is finished? I want to make coffee." asked Ara because now it's over. Night alone with a guy, let alone his own girlfriend makes Ara creepy and nervous. May no demons pass by, Lord..

"How can you make coffee if you don't know where the sugar is?"

Ara scowling. He was indeed looking for sugar again when Karrel's voice distracted him. Carrel immediately took out a jar of sugar and cream from the small shelf next to the stove then took a jar of coffee in Ara's hand. After pouring a small spoonful of coffee, cream, and sugar into one cup, Karrel poured hot water into it. He took the cold milk in the refrigerator and poured it into another cup. He brought the two cups to the pantry table that separated the kitchen from the room in front of him.

"Why do you want to have coffee?" ask the guy.

"Let's not sleep. I'm doing maths for kumpulin tomorrow."

"Drink only milk," said Karrel then thrust milk into Ara and drink the actual coffee for Ara. The girl was gawking.

"And I drink coffee so as not to sleep, why even milk? Milk can trigger drowsiness" he objected. What if he falls asleep before he finishes his math assignment?  But Karrel looked relaxed.

"Karrel.. I still have to do my job." he said sulking.

"Drink the milk first. Let me help you with the task. If you fall asleep later I'm finished." said Karrel while sipping coffee.

ara's eyes twinkled. He was dizzy fiddling with mathematical problems and could not work on them. He was happy that Karrel would help him. After drinking, the two went into Karrel's room. Karrel pulled another chair and sat down at the side of Ara in front of the study table.

Ara thrust the taskbook containing the ten math problems into Karrel. After reading those questions, Karrel picked up the paper and started doodling. He explained at length until Ara really understood and then told the girl to finish the follow-up.

Karrel smiled faintly looking at Ara who was engrossed in scribbling his paper with vigor. Lately the interest of the girl in studying is very high.

"Can! Result zero. It means divided by one." Ara exclaimed happily.

Karrel smiled.

"Oh yeah? Geez, I always start all over again, ah you moron!" Ara patted the forehead. Then he was again busy counting by trying to enter the numbers again, he did not know that Karrel kept watching him.

Karrel was happy to see Ara so excited. Because that way, he did not need to think about the problem he was facing right now. That way, his brain will be more refreshed.

When Ara finished working on the matter, she lifted her face and was stunned to see Karrel's face so close to her. He retreated a little, making room between them. His heart was pounding fast, not knowing why it could be this way. Though he and Karrel have been countless times to be at this close distance. He tried to cheer the atmosphere with chattering.

"You're really smart, later if I want to make a difficult task like this again, I learn it just like you yes yes!"

Karrel still looked at her with a deep gaze like that.

"Why you?" asked Ara confused.

"Your hair is fragrant, what shampoo?" the man reached out his hand taking a handful of Ara's unraveling hair and sniffing it, enjoying the fragrant fragrance in his sense of smell.

Ara felt her face heat up.

"The shampoo is in your bathroom" he replied.

"Oh yeah?" carrel's turn salting. He had even forgotten the smell of his own sampo. Ara's wearing her shampoo? There was joy in his heart.

"Now the next thing." cried Ara again to relieve his nervousness. They ended up busy again with questions until Karrel had to explain other problems that Ara did not understand.

"Now you're the one who's fighting..." Karrel stopped talking. His eyes were fixed on Ara who had even fallen asleep. He put his head on the table. Observing the old Ara. His hand moved touching Ara's entire face. Then without permission to kiss the girl's eyes closed, already asleep in her sleep.

Karrel still wanted to linger seeing Ara's peaceful face while asleep, but he realized it was very late now. He has to go. He stood up, carried Ara to the bed, covered the girl with his thick blanket and whispered softly in her ear.

"Beautiful dream dear" he whispered hoarsely. He knew Ara couldn't hear, but he did. Then he turned away after a brief peek at Ara's forehead.
