"He was in shock." The Moses family's personal doctor came to Moses after examining Ara, who was now lying unconscious in her bed, inside the family's luxurious mansion.
"Okay, thank you doctor." Moses answered politely and led the doctor to the door. Arriving at the door, the doctor stopped his steps before leaving.
"Where did you bring the girl, Moses?" the doctor had known Moses for a long time because he had been a family doctor since Moses' grandfather was alive, so he considered Moses almost like his own son. Doctor Nuan knew clearly Moses' father was more concerned with his work. Even the man's father was unmitigated to use Moses to launch his work.
"She's the girl I was betrothed to from that little girl." doctor Nuan looked shocked. He had heard Moses had been betrothed. But the girl had disappeared for years.
"Your engagement?" ask doctor Nuan to confirm his hearing. Moses replied with a slow nod. He did not have to cover up his relationship with Ara because soon the people inside the residence would know. Doctor Nuan himself changed normally. He does not want to over-respond to it. The doctor then took a breath and spoke again.
"Make sure she takes her medicine after waking up. He had a fever, his body was weak, so he was sick after going into shock." Moses' heart was filled to hear it.
"Don't worry doc, I'll take care of him." murmured Moses with a smile.
When Ara opened her eyes, she was aghast to realize that she was in an unfamiliar room. The room was beautiful and everything inside was expensive. Ara scrunched her forehead confused, where is she? His last memory was his great fear of hearing those horrible gunshots. After that, he doesn't remember anything.
Ara looked around again vigilantly and breathed a sigh of relief when convinced that she was alone inside this room. Whose room is this? Did the man who helped her bring her here? Ara glanced at her body and sighed in relief once again as she found herself fully clothed behind the thick blanket covering her body. His head was still dizzy and all over his body was in pain, he was twitching his head, trying to relieve the feeling like pounding there.
Suddenly the door opened, and reflexively, Ara inched away on the bed when she saw the man who had helped her enter the room.
"You're awake apparently." Moses shifted the chair to the edge of the bed and sat there.
"My house. You're in my room now." Moses said. Ara thought for a while, trying to clear her mind then preparing to stand up and get out of the room. Unfortunately, his power was lost far from Moses.
Ara looked at the man confused.
"You can't leave now. The conditions out there are not okay. There's a lot of people trying to kidnap you. Today you're lucky I can save you, but tomorrow, I don't know... So for a while you were better here first, Ara." Moses shrugged. He even mentioned the girl's name for the first time. Ara looked at the man confused. He felt confused because the man knew what his name was, even the way he said his name as if they were familiar. And... Many want to kidnap her?
Wh why? Ara did not understand. He kept that guy. His forehead creased, staring at the man intently. The face looks familiar. It was like he had seen it somewhere.
"Have we met before? And... How do you know my name?" tanyanya. Moses leaned his body against the back of the chair and folded his arms around his chest staring at Ara.
"I ate at the cafe where you worked this afternoon. And.. You might be surprised to hear this, but I still have to say you're my fiance."
moses said casually. Contrary to Ara who was shocked not playing. A fiancee? Since he had a fiancee? Just be right. This guy is a liar no more.
"Cannot be. Don't try to cheat. I can't believe it. I want to go home now!" said Ara ketus. He tried to get out of bed again but Moses again held him back. The man's face looked serious.
"I told you you can't go home now. Your father will be here soon. He'll explain everything. You take it easy here." Moses said holding Ara's shoulder firmly. Ara was confused. Daddy's? You mean the man's the papa?
He wanted to ask but the door of the room suddenly opened, featuring an unknown old man. The middle-aged man stepped slowly towards him with a gaze like he had just met someone he had missed. Then after arriving in front of him, the old man immediately hugged him tightly. 0
