Chapter 31

There's good news. Both eyes of Ara sparkled. His smile was wide. He jumped up from his bed. When I opened my eyes and saw the phone, there was a WA coming in from Kevan's brother, his cousin Bintang. The man finally agreed to accept him to work at his cafe.

Not in vain Ara terrorized the man by sending a message to his Wa number every day. The star gave it to her because she asked for it some time ago. I don't know why she likes to try work. He wants to feel how life works and try to live independently.

Ara had long thought that she had to live independently. His family background never diminished. She can always buy whatever she wants and eat well. But he could not always depend on his father and brother. Both of them don't like it anymore. It could be someday if their relationship is more fractured he can be expelled from the house.

It was a ridiculous thought. If they didn't want it anymore, they would have kicked him out a long time ago. Ara exhaled strongly and glanced at the clock. It's seven o'clock at night. Kevan said he wanted to meet him first to discuss his work later. With her spirit the girl got into the bathroom and took a shower as quickly as possible.

As usual, Ara always came out quietly through the garden behind her house. His father rarely came home and Ravel's brother would not look for him, but the famous actor could not give him permission to come out. The reason being, if he made trouble outside, their families would be ashamed. No one knew he was part of that family. But to prevent things that are not wanted, it is better to go quietly as he usually does. It's past dinner anyway. No more maids would call him to eat.

"What time did you finish studying?" tanya Kevan opened the conversation.

"I mean you're out of school at what time?" errativeness.

Ara thought about remembering.

"Every day?"

"Almost. Sometimes it can be fast, it can be longer too." as Ara remembers it. He even went home the night when something unexpected happened. Like an assault on a school. He continued to look at Kevan who now looks to be weighing.

"All right." the man looked at her.

Kevan sometimes finds it funny in the ways Ara forces her to ask him for a job. For a long time he also felt he could not resist. Therefore, he had already spoken to Lily to give Ara a chance.

Lily disagreed at first. But the woman did not have full rights because the main right was on Kevan. Kevan appreciates Lily's disapproving opinion, but he really wants to give Ara a chance. That's why they have made their agreement. Ara will be accepted to work at the cafe, but Lily will teach the girl. Because in Lily's eyes, just one look she knew Ara was not the type of girl who used to work.

"So, when do I get to work?" ask Ara enthusiastically.

"Tomorrow." It wasn't Kevan who answered but Lily.

"Alright." reply Ara directly.

Lily sneered. Fucking kid. I don't know if working is not easy. Let's see when the girl will survive.

"Prepare yourself well tomorrow" said Lily, smiling sideways and walking out of Kevan's room.

"Cih, I've been ready for a long time." she turned back to look at Lily who had been away. Of course, his words were not heard by the woman.

Kevan chuckled while shaking his head. This Sih Ara is really still a boy in his opinion.

"Here you are, you are much younger than him. Lily has a lot of experience. Although fierce, he can teach you well." said the man. Ara screeches.

"I don't like fierce women." he replied originally. Kevan just laughed.

"How are you going to get home?" tanyanya. It turned out to be ten.

"Taxi ride online."

Kevan thought about it.

"I'll take it with me." Break it up. It's not good for girls to come home alone these nights. Moreover, this Ara he already considered as his own sister.
