ARAKAS

ARAKAS
Chapter 30

Karrel's steps stopped as he walked through the school field. Although many people are in the field, his eyes can catch the figure of the girl close to him lately.

Devin who walked behind him stopped his steps and followed Karrel's gaze.

"Fuck? Why stand under such a hot flag?"

Devin continued to stare at Ara who was standing in the middle, between two guys that Devin knew as her classmates. He had seen them marching in the same class. Sometimes the girl laughed when something happened to her two friends. They laughed as if they were the only ones there.

"Surely they're in the law again." murmured Devin. His gaze turned to Karrel who had not yet let go of his gaze on Ara at the other end. He could see the look on Karrel's face as if he was upset. Maybe because I don't like seeing Ara close to other guys. Devin chuckles.

"You pissed?" ledek. Karrel ignored.

"If you get upset quickly make him yours, so you can freely prohibit who he hangs out with" said Devin again managed to distract Karrel. He had thought about Devin's speech but quickly on the edge. Karrel then continued his steps, deciding not to care. Although his feelings actually do not really like to see the closeness of Ara and her boy friends. Is he jealous?

"You're not coming?" asked Karrel turned around for a bit, looking at Devin who was still still in place.

"I have a little business, you go first." said Devin. Karrel shrugged indifferently then continued his steps towards the library.

Devin immediately turned Ara towards the canteen. Shortly after, he returned with three cold aqua pieces in his hands and approached Ara and her friends who had now changed their standing position to sit in the field.

"Ara, it's a drink. You must have been puree." Devin thrust no aqua bottle at Ara and her two friends. They quickly picked it up with a happy face and immediately drank it.

"Thank you" said Ara as she wiped the sweat on her face and neck. Devin continued to stare at the girl without blinking. He admitted that Ara was beautiful. Even with conditions that are already alarmed because of the sun and a uniform that is chaotic like that, beauty does not disappear.

"Karrel.., '" The man quickly shut his mouth. Oh my goodness, he almost let go.

"Karrel why?" repeated Ara with her round eyes looking at Devin.

"No." replied Devin directly.

"Oh yeah, why do you have the law to stand in the field?" he tried to divert the conversation, as well as wanting to know why what these three beings did came to the law.

"Biasalah, truant." answered Ara casually. Devin. He had guessed. His gaze moved to the two guys who were with the girl.

"You guys are together often?" ask her again with a moving look at the three. And uniquely the three of them nodded simultaneously. Devin thought Ara was just hanging out with her female friends, apparently with her male classmates whom the girl was familiar with as well.

"Again to the perpus. There's a book he wants to look for he said." said Devin. Ara mangosteen. He wanted to talk again but his eyes caught someone who was looking at him from the middle of the field to make him not talk.

Ravel, her brother is now looking at her sharply from among all the crew in the middle of the field there. I think they were shooting basketball and now they are shooting again.

Ara quickly threw her face in the other direction. Too many people were watching the man. He was afraid that they would suspect that the two were staring at each other. He might have to spray again at home from his brother.

"Mm, aren't you hungry? To the canteen yuk." invite Ara to leave immediately from there.

                                 ***

In the afternoon Ara just returned home. He had stopped by the mall with Laras and Manda. Biasalah. The girl walked into the house while whistling softly. He did not realize his brother was sitting purposely waiting for him in his room.

Ara did not expect Ravel to enter her room after such a long time. The girl was silent for a moment, still thinking whether the one sitting on her bed was really her brother or not.

"Sister Ravel?" he murmured while rubbing his eyes and continued to look ahead. What dream was he last night.

"Your homeroom teacher called me" said Ravel flatly.

"You're truant again, aren't you?"

Ara gulped. His homeroom teacher knew that Ravel was his older brother. Also got Ravel's number. But Ara knew her brother had made a deal with the homeroom teacher that the man's identity as the girl's older brother was better to hide. Ara there was also time they made the deal. In addition to his homeroom teacher, there was also the principal who knew. If the homeroom teacher will call Ravel first about the problem Ara made at school, different from the headmaster who will directly contact Papa Ara.

"K..kak won't tell papa right?" Ara raised her face looking at Ravel and asked cautiously.

Ravel looked at Ara fixedly as her hands folded her chest in a haughty style. Maybe his sister did not know, but he often saw the behavior of the girl during several days filming at school. The most Ravel dislikes is, Ara hangs out with men the most. Last afternoon in the law only the girl alone was a girl. Of course Ravel doesn't like it. Moreover, the girl's homeroom teacher had told her that Ara was getting more and more diligent in ditching. That's why when I came home without a second thought Ravel went straight into the room of the brother, waiting for him to come home and gave him a warning.

"You should have noticed your attitude. You're not a kid anymore. Stop truanting and eliminate your childish nature. If your homeroom teacher calls me back and complains about the same thing again, just look at how papa has disciplined you" Ravel said under pressure. He stood up from the big bed and stepped out.

There was a sense of disappointment in Ara's heart with Ravel's words that were so striking. But how else, the man was always like that. It was wrong today too. The girl slammed herself on the bed while glaring at the ceiling of the room.

Ara thought for a moment. He had a brother but he didn't have one. Especially papa. The old man's demeanor was much colder and it often lowered him as well. He has a home and still has a family, can still eat well too. But he felt like no one cared. But yeah, don't think about it. He can be stressed. Unknowingly, the girl fell asleep.
