ARAKAS

ARAKAS
Chapter 50

Evening the atmosphere of the Inggrid grandmother's house, which was only crowded with their extended family, is now increasingly crowded with the arrival of other foreigners. Ara didn't know them at all.

The girl looked around looking for the whereabouts of her father but did not find the old man. Indeed this is a party from his mother's family, even so, his papa should also exist. But the old man was completely invisible. Is the father busy?

Ara wanted to ask her brother but Ravel's sister looked busy greeting her friends Grandma Inggrid on the other end. Never mind, he better enjoy himself this obscure party.

"Well, where are you buying the dresses?" ask Lina who came with Gisel. Pascal's other cousin was busy talking with his friends who arrived.

"Good, Ravel's brother who bought it" said Ara deliberately showing off to her two cousins. Look at the change in their faces. Envy the weight.

"Kok I don't think it fits you well dress her, mending Lina who wears it." Gisel said. Fool, Ara doesn't care at all. Sirik people are always like that. Ara decided to stay away from them. Rather than arguing, keep making him tired. Better he tasted a variety of cakes that lined up neatly on the table.

The more nights come. The party has been started since then and the house that was once very spacious felt increasingly crowded so many guests who came. Ara finally chose to go to the back of the house, sitting alone in the long chair while enjoying the fizzy drink she was under from the inside.

The girl looked up at the ceiling. Sometimes, when alone like this he will think a lot and feel lonely. That's why he prefers crowds to keep him from thinking negative things.

"Hey,"

the voice resuscitated Ara from her daydream. He thinks who's coming. Pascal, Ravel's brother or another man. Apparently Karrel. The girl scrunched her forehead. Karrel came too? How can? His gloomy face was now cheerful again.

"Karrel?" shouts spirit.

"Cock in here? You invited Grandma Ingrid too?" ask Ara sumringah. The arrival of Karrel really made his sense of boredom disappear. He didn't think the guy would come.

Carrel sat next to Ara. The guy's smile seemed to make him feel shady.

"My mother's father doesn't live far from here. They're good friends with Grandma Inggrid. I came because I knew you were here too." explained Karrel at length.

"Who am I from here?"

"Aren't you chatting to me this morning? You said you wouldn't go to school because you wanted to come to your grandmother's party in Bandung."

"But how do you know Inggrid's grandmother was my grandmother?"

"Kan Ravel your brother. Your grandmother must be the same."

"Why alone here?" ask Karrel then. He stared at Ara's fleeting appearance. Well-favoured. The dress and the person are both beautiful. Since arriving at this house earlier, he immediately found Ara but this girl was invisible. Karrel thought that Ara was not going down to the party, but when the guy wanted to relax behind the house, he met the figure he had been looking for since.

"In too many people, I'm lazy." murmured Ara. Karrel smiled thinly. His eyes moved to the beautiful night sky. There are thousands of stars adorning the sky tonight, which makes anyone who sees it feel shady.

"By,

"mm?" Ara glanced at Karrel who spoke without looking at him. The guy's eyes continued to focus on the sky.

"Do you see the biggest and brightest star up there?" Carrel pointed to a star that shone most among the other stars. He has been interested since.

"Yes, I think it's really cool" said Ara. Stars always look beautiful in their eyes. He's seen it since.

'You know, you're just like that star in my eyes" Karrel said. This may sound like a big deal, but he doesn't care. He wanted Ara to know what the position of the girl was in him. This time he took his eyes off the sky and looked at Ara.

"You're the star that shines the most for me" the man added.

"Since the first time I saw you at school, I've always been interested in stealing and even interested in wanting to know what kind of person you are, until finally we became close, and I realized, and I realized, I've fallen for you."

Ara's face flushed. He was ashamed to hear Karrel's statement. Moreover, the guy kept staring at her deeply. His heart was pounding irregularly. Is Karrel gonna shoot him? If true, Ara would be very much in a dilemma to refuse or accept it. Or did he just accept it? Mostly in the eyes of many people at school they are also dating. Ravel's disapproving business, she can arrange it later.

"Ara," this time Karrel's hand was raised cupping Ara's cheek, stroking it with his thumb.

"We're going out, right? I think I can resist not going out with you first, it's not." she said. His eyes were full of supplication. He wanted Ara to agree. Ara herself has been struggling since. Sure enough that they hugged, Karrel could feel his heartbeat beating very fast.

He stared at Karrel for a long time, until he finally nodded slowly. Karrel who had worried about being rejected earlier smiled widely. Without permission he immediately kissed Ara, but this time on the forehead alone, as a form of respect for the girl. They then hugged. Long enough, until Ara realized that the place they were alone in now was the house of Grandma Ingrid. What if someone sees them. Especially Ra...

So shocked Ara when the figure she had just thought of was standing in front of them and now pulled Karrel's collar forcibly then without any cue to punch Karrel as hard as he could. Karrel did not stay silent, he replied to Ravel's punch. There was finally a fight between the two men.

Ara panic. He wanted to break up, shouted loudly for help but did not dare. Fear of people will come and more excited to see the fight of his brother and the guy who just became his girlfriend. Lucky they're behind the house now. The place was quite dark and quiet. Rarely come there. But Ara who was panicking, did not know what to do. The power is too small to break them. He was also afraid to see violence, but if left alone they could both be seriously injured.

Ara finally ran inside. He had to find someone who could help him break up Karrel and Ravel's brother. His eyes stopped at Pascal who was standing alone beside the table. Then as quickly as possible Ara ran and whispered in Pascal's ear. After that Pascal followed him.
