An Unwanted Marriage

It had been 4 days and Gibran really did that, he no longer opened a practice in the clinic, all he did was take care of and accompany Sabina every day. Although the relationship and Sabina have not returned to normal, but now better than before.

Every day as much as possible they do anything together. Although not until the intimate relationship is full of excitement, but the communication of both began to improve.

Every morning Gibran would accompany Sabina on foot, Lunch together and Gibran who cooked it of course. For some reason but Sabina really likes whatever her husband cooks, she will eat greedily and Gibran really likes it. In the afternoon they go for a walk to the shopping center to watch the cinema or do other things.

"You want the others ?" ask Gibran.

Currently the two are in the supermarket to shop because later tonight the Sabina family will have dinner at home.

"It's been too much" Sabina said as she pointed at the stroller that had been filled with contents.

" It's okay, I'm happy if everyone gets together. So we prepare a lot of food for them to be at home." replied Gibran.

Elsewhere, Amanda was hospitalized for 10 days. His bleeding has been resolved, his plan today he has been allowed to go home.

these last 4 days Rani who is Gibran's Assistant often comes early. Though usually at this hour Rani is still working.

"Thank God today you can leave the hospital.I hope you are always healthy in the future" said Rani with relief to Amanda, and helped her pack to go home.

"Rani, why have you come so early lately ? does Gibran have any other assistants ?" ask Amanda curiously.

"doctor Gibran has not practiced since 4 days ago" replied Rani.

"what's going on?"

"mmm, he said he wanted to focus on keeping his wife."

"what's wrong with his wife?"

"It looks like the pregnancy is problematic so Gibran's doctor wants to keep his wife healthy."

"until when? "

"Once again, Gibran's doctor said it might be a few days or if necessary he'll close the clinic."

"Huh ?" amanda asked, glaring her eyes in disbelief.

"What is the pain of Sabina ? what about the patients ?"

"i don't know, but the doctor and his wife had a big fight on the phone the day you entered the hospital. After the incident the doctor's mood changed drastically and before long he decided to close the practice." replied Rani and it made Amanda speechless instantly. He felt a tightness in his chest.

"It's all because of you, Manda." Amanda blames herself in her heart. The pain of guilt Amanda felt in her heart.

"And the patients are still many who come even though it has been told if the doctor Gibran for a while does not practice first." continued Rani again but Amanda is still busy with her own thoughts.

"Are you listening to what they're talking about on the phone ?"

"How ?" Rani furrowed her brows not understanding.

"that's what Gibran was talking about with his wife ?"

"No," answered Rani lying and actually she was less fond of Amanda. Because he believed Amanda had something to do with the quarrel between the doctor Gibran and his wife.

"Oh yes one more, sir the doctor left a message so you don't come looking for him again no matter what happens."

"Huh ?"

What Rani said was a slap for Amanda. Because of this, Gibran now has to close his practice.

"Which woman can accept if her husband takes care of other women especially if the woman is part of his past." Amanda's inner heart.

Gibran is a very good man, he is the only one who wants to help Amanda in her worst situation but now her marriage and work are hampered by it. A sense of regret permeated Amanda's heart at this time.

"Remember, you still have to rest completely after leaving this hospital and drink the medicine regularly" said Risa doctor when he met Amanda.

"Doctor Gibran is no longer practicing, so as much as possible take care of yourself because he said he had gone hands off with responsibility to you" he continued again and Amanda smiled wryly at it. Now everyone knows that he is just a burden to Gibran.

2 Days later, as usual Gibran was accompanying Sabina to lunch. He told me a lot about his practice in the hospital and as before, Sabina listened carefully.

Suddenly the phone in the pocket of Gibran's shirt shook, he pulled out the flat object and the phone number he had been waiting for.

"Binah, I must accept it" Gibran said, standing and walking away.

"Good afternoon Mr. Gibran Fahreza, the ring you ordered is ready to be taken as well as the addition of a diamond necklace that you ordered." said a woman on the other end of the phone and Gibran's face lit up instantly.

"Thank God, I really need it all for tomorrow. I'll be there in 2 hours." replied Gibran and he hung up.

Gibran returned to the dining table where Sabina was waiting for him there.

"Bina, after lunch I had to go out for a while because there was a need. It won't take long."

"Yes, of course please." replied Sabina.

His wife was no longer asking much questions about Gibran's activities. Although Gibran understands that Sabina doesn't want to argue much but sometimes misses Sabina's attention as she once did, Gibran longs for the possessiveness Sabina gives him.

"Non, there are guests" said Mbok Inah to Sabina who is now flushing flowers in the backyard.

" Who ?" sabina asked astonished because all this time she rarely received guests if not her husband's colleagues.

" I don't know, Non. Her guest is a pregnant woman." replied Mbok Inah and made Sabina's chest pound instantly.

Sabina kept her water hose and walked into the house, towards the living room. He glanced at the clock on the wall at 5pm and Gibran had not been home since noon.

Just as she expected, Amanda was the one who came to her house this afternoon. But Sabina was astonished to see it, almost she did not recognize her former best friend because now her shabby appearance is very much different from what it used to be. Amanda's arrival was a great surprise for Sabina.

"Bina," said Amanda as she stood up. In her heart she felt so sad because of Sabina's appearance which was much more beautiful than her unkempt self.

"Gibran is out, and I don't know where he's going. You can come back later or call her on her phone." Sabina said without further ado.

Amanda smiled knowing to hear that, she realized Sabina did not like the arrival. With a pounding heart Amanda also ventured to speak.

"I didn't come because I wanted to see Gibran, I came here to see you." Amanda replied without hesitation.
