Happy reading & ''Double

Amanda pervades all Gibran's true words. Suddenly his chest felt so tight.

"If there wasn't me, you're just a sick woman that many people forget and if you dare to mess with me, I'd throw you in the street. " Threaten Gibran and he stood up and grabbed his car keys and walked out of his practice.

The sound of the bang of the car door slammed loudly sounded so loud that Amanda and Rani Gibran's assistant looked at each other.

"Today, Dr. Gibran was so bad, I didn't dare say anything." Rani spoke while stroking her chest.

Amanda froze to nothing about what Gibran's assistant said. Without much talk Amanda left Gibran's practice, she walked to a boarding house not too far from where Gibran worked.

Along the way he keeps remembering what Gibran told him.

"When you fall, only Sabina and I help you,"

"If there's no me, you're just a sick woman who's been forgotten by many,"

"You should be ashamed, so people shouldn't be that sadistic."

..."It's with Sabina's permission that I can help you,"...

The lines Gibran had thrown at him ringing in Amanda's head were like endless rounds of song. He also wiped the clear water that fell on his cheek.

Amanda arrives at her very modest boarding room, all this time she can survive Gibran's kindness to her. If there is no ex-lover, it is certain that he will live on the streets with scorn.

But he can still live quietly in the village because everyone thinks Amanda is a relative of a respected Gibran doctor.

Amanda stood before the mirror, looking at her pitiful appearance. His slightly pale and tyrannical face looked not fresh at all, his body was no longer as seductive as it once was. Even the once beautiful wavy hair now looks unkempt. What is clear is that only her stomach is enlarged due to pregnancy.

"Of course Gibran helped me out of pity not because he was still in love. You look so disgusting, Manda." Amanda muttered to herself, laughing and crying at the same time.

"I love Sabina so much that it almost feels crazy"

Amanda remembered how Gibran's eyes condensed when he said that sentence. He did not expect Gibran would quickly fall in love with a noble Sabina.

The shadows of Amanda's past while still alive together with Sabina and her family spun vividly inside her head.

Amanda could clearly remember how the Sabina family treated her so well. Even Sabina thought of him like a brother herself not as a servant. Gentle Sabina, never mentioned Amanda's social status. Even Sabina had great respect for her mother Amanda who worked as a servant in the house but never once did Sabina rule with a raised voice.

But Amanda always looked down on Sabina being inferior to her because of the flaws Sabina had. Amanda felt she was much better, because of her perfect physical condition and felt that she was more entitled to a luxurious life compared to Sabina.

And now Amanda realized that sincerity is more alluring than the perfect body.

Evidently from how Gibran who now loves Sabina when both of them were forced to marry. Amanda believes Sabina's sincerity makes her fall in love with her.

"Hu.hu.hu..hu..hu. Realizing he had no chance to return to Gibran.

And now he has no one in the world. Not his mother, not the rich man who used to like his body, also has no friends who sincerely love him. He is nothing more than a lump of meat that means nothing to anyone.

"I only have you, son." She shrieked Amanda and for the first time she stroked her enlarged belly lovingly.

"We'll always be together, just you and me." Smashed again.

***

It's almost 9 p.m., and now Gibran is attending a hospital shareholders' meeting. She had seen her phone screen many times but Sabina's name did not contact her at all.

"Bas stubbornly !" Gibran muttered annoyedly.

The pain mixed with longing that Gibran now feels. He could not deny if Sabina's face was always reflected in her head.

Gibran scrolled through the screen of the phone he was holding and saw some photos of Sabina stored in his gallery. None of the material-bearer's words entered his head. He is busy with his own mind. The thought of Sabina was of course.

"Where is Sabina ?" Ask Gibran.

"Non Bina, it looks like she's watching TV upstairs" replied Inah.

Instantly Gibran raised his head towards the 2nd floor of his house and faintly heard the sound of conversation on TV.

"Would you like me to warm up for dinner, sir ?" Ask mbok Inah.

"May," replied Gibran and immediately he walked up each step of the stairs to his room located on the 2nd floor. His heart was working extra at the moment, as Gibran felt so pounding just because he was about to meet Sabina.

Sabina actually knew if Gibran had gone home, heard from the roar of his car engine and also a knock on the front door of his house. But Sabina preferred to stay silent in front of the TV. Didn't Gibran say he could be angry ? You can be quiet and cold. And Sabina also had a good reason why she did that.

If Gibran had told him earlier, telling the truth happened, of course he would have tried to understand the situation of the husband. Maybe Sabina can also accept the fact that Gibran was forced to help Amanda.

It's not just Gibran helping Amanda that makes Sabina so angry, but the fact that Gibran is hiding something from her that is hurting Sabina. He felt Gibran had betrayed the trust he had given.

Sabina's eyes were still fixed on the television screen when Gibran arrived on the 2nd floor. Not turning heads, let alone reprimanding greetings. Sabina just stood still and laid her body on the sofa with a plate of pieces in front of her.

Gibran glanced at her with the tip of his eyes, but Sabina remained silent, as if unconcerned by his arrival. Making Gibran's languishing heart feel wry. He entered his room to clean himself up.

Sabina was still lying on the couch as Gibran walked down the stairs to the dining room where a bowl of warm rib soup and a plate of rice had been waiting for him.

"Sabina has eaten, Mbok ?" Ask Gibran.

"Mmm, it was about 7" replied MBok Inah with a little nervousness.

Without saying much, Gibran began to eat his dinner. But just 2 mouthfuls, he immediately stopped it. Her taste just disappeared because Sabina wasn't there to accompany her.

"Why doctor ? Is there anything less?" Ask Inah and Gibran answers with a head.

"What cooks my soup, so just tell me if there is less," said mbok Inah because Gibran ended his dinner when his employer had just eaten as much as 2 mouthfuls.

"His son Mbok, I'm full" replied Gibran and immediately drank a glass of water before leaving the dining room.

"Sabina doesn't want to cook for me" Gibran said. And he also felt increasingly tortured because of Sabina's attitude to him.

The sofa on the 2nd floor was empty when Gibran returned. Sabina was lying on top of it not long ago. With a pounding heart Gibran opened the door of the room and he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Sabina sitting in front of the mirror and was wearing skin care face. Gibran was pleased that Sabina did not sleep in a separate room.

"Bina" said Gibran slowly.

Without answering, Sabina looked at her husband through the reflection of the glass before her.

"So Amanda came back to my clinic" Gibran continued.

'Deg !' sabina's chest thumped even tighter when she heard that. His heart was jealous at this moment.

"I know it hurts you, but I don't want to hide anything from you anymore. Dear. Amanda came to show the results of her examination and it turned out that she had a problem. But take it easy I've asked him to stop seeing me" Gibran explained slowly but Sabina silently did not respond.

"Bina..," muttered Gibran in despair.

"Do whatever you think is good." answered Sabina and she immediately climbed into the bed and turned off the sleeping lights next to her. Sabina laid her body against Gibran like the night before.

Gibran was still standing glued to see Sabina who had now closed her eyes.

Sabina's silence made Gibran miserable and very tormented.
