Happy reading 😘
"Yes.yes I'm here." Gibran replied, scooping his face.
"I'm looking forward to your arrival at the hospital right now."
"mmm... All right I'll be here in a few minutes." Gibran answered and hung up the phone call.
Gibran sat his body back in the chair he was about to leave. He scooped his face in frustration.
Just now he made up with Sabina, just walked for one Week all back to normal. Even a few days ago both shop for baby needs and renovate the room in front of their room into a nursery with shades of blue and white.
Gibran himself chose the motif and color of the wallpaper while Sabina chose all the furniture. The clothes and other needs of their baby were available and neatly arranged by Sabina herself who did so.
Really a week ago was the best time for Gibran. He could get close to Sabina again and pour out all his affection. The two prepare everything to welcome the presence of their baby together. Even this morning before leaving for work he and Sabina again did a hot struggle on the bed.
"Ahhhhh... Shitttt," said Gibran. His head throbbed as it endured the pain that suddenly struck him.
Gibran played the phone that was within his grasp. Repeatedly seeing Sabina's contacts that read the name "My lovely wife & 'double touching her" without daring to touch her.
He remembered Sabina's words last week that didn't allow him to deal with Amanda again for whatever reason. And to win Sabina's heart back then, Gibran responded.
But now what is happening is beyond his power. Amanda fell unconscious and was bleeding. The woman has no one in town, they only know that Gibran is the only family Amanda has today.
"What if something bad happens ? What if Amanda can't be saved? Of course my name will be entangled in this, "the inner Gibran in his heart.
Gibran took a deep breath before he went back to looking for the name of his wife's contact and immediately did a phone call though he had little doubt Sabina would allow him to take care of Amanda again.
Gibran stood up and then walked back and forth in his room because of the anxious feeling he felt. Gibran waited long enough for Sabina to pick up her call.
"Hello dear," said Sabina on the other end of the phone.
'deg !' gibran's heart raced faster when he heard his wife's voice.
"Ha..hello Bina." Reply Gibran.
"Yes ? You're not pa-pa ? How rich is that weird." Sabina asked sounded worried.
"I'm fine, honey. Don't worry." Answer Gibran.
"Bina, Darling ?"
"Hu'um. ?" Sabina asked back.
"mmm... I got a call from the hospital here," Gibran said, opening his story and sitting there. Gibran believes Sabina can guess what happens next.
"Build ?"
"Hmm yes ?" Sabina's tone of voice now turned colder than before.
"A. I got a call from the area's public hospital and they reported that Amanda was bleeding and unconscious. I recommended Amanda to go to another doctor so she wouldn't see me. And in this city Amanda is known as my cousin, no one knows and is responsible for her. So inevitably they call me to be the representative of his family." Gibran slowly.
"So Amanda lives in one city with your clinic ?" Sabina asked calmly.
Sabina's question was like an arrow that hit her target and left Gibran speechless in a thousand languages.
"Did he stay at your clinic too ?" Ask Sabina again.
"No, he doesn't live in the house that's my clinic." Answer Gibran.
"I guess Amanda only comes to you when she needs to, I don't know if she's moving to a city to be closer to you."
"I don't care, I'm not interested in his life. What's interesting to me is the fact that he's willing to live in the suburbs just to be close to you."
"No, not so dear... I don't even know where she lives. Like I said, Amanda only comes if she has a need for me."
"Please let me believe...,"
"Oh my God, Bina ! I'm not doing anything despicable behind your back. I'm not cheating on you." Gibran said in a high voice. He is so desperate right now.
"You're not cheating but what you're doing behind my back, hiding this is the same as betrayal." Sabina replied with a tone of voice that was no less high and made Gibran gasp when he heard it.
"Bina, I was wrong and I'm sorry. Let's talk about this at home after I get home from work. But please.I ask for your understanding at this time. I have to come there as Amanda's family because if I don't, and for example bad things happen to Amanda then my name will be dragged along too." Please Gibran in frustration.
Silent for a while, the two of them just remained silent. Until the words of Rani the assistant broke the silence.
"Now, the hospital called repeatedly saying they were waiting for you."
Sabina could clearly hear what Rani was saying. It's probably true that Amanda is in a critical state.
But Gibran is her husband. What's wrong if he wants Gibran to care only about him ? Sabina doesn't want Gibran to care about Amanda for whatever reason. There has been too much heartache caused by his former best friend that at this time Sabina does not want to use her logic.
"Darling ?" Ask Gibran.
"Do whatever you choose because you shouldn't have to ask me about Amanda."
"Bina please," cut Gibran.
"Last week I told you, I don't want you to get involved with Amanda for whatever reason." Sabina answered clearly.
"You come with me to the hospital, let you know what Amanda's true condition is so you can understand what my current position is like. I'll pick you up."
"No, I don't want to go far. I don't want to be in touch with Amanda anymore. There's been too many injuries he's made to me."
"But Bina, please... Understand..," Gibran said frustratedly.
"I salute you Gibran, still helping him even though he has hurt you. Maybe your heart is still attached to it." Sabina's words are full of insinuations.
"No building, it's not that."
"Do whatever you think is most important." Sabina said and she hung up the phone without giving Gibran a chance to speak again.
"F*ck f*ck f*ck," maki Gibran and he threw everything on his practice table because of the emotions on Sabina who did not want to understand his current position.
A loud noise from Gibran's room made Rani come to him and was shocked when she saw Gibran's messy room.
"Don't, ma... Sorry just now that Dr. Risa from the public hospital called again." Rani said timidly.
Gibran's eyes flashed furiously, his jaw tightened and his lips tightly clenched.
Not yet Gibran replied, the call from the hospital re-entered on his cellphone.
"Ran, please sort it out. I'm going." Gibran said as he grabbed the keys of the car lying on the floor.
Rani just nodded her head without daring to speak.
