An Unwanted Marriage

An Unwanted Marriage
Not the Distance That Separates

Happy reading & ''Double

Elsewhere, Andre still tidied some files into the binder before he came home. The volume of work is increasing every day. Either his parents intentionally did that or indeed the burden is getting more and more.

Luckily, there was an Alya who helped him a lot. The woman though did not talk much but was quite reliable at work. Andre is very helpful in terms of work.

But there is another burden that Andre must shoulder himself is about his disease. He was afraid, too, worried. Because the disease he suffered did not cause symptoms like Amanda.

He did not know since when the disease was lodged and when the doctor explained the consequences of the disease made Andre afraid not kepalang.

For almost 2 months he never touched any woman. Although very very difficult Andre did because he was previously active in sexu*l.

Self-aware, he does not want to transmit to any woman because the disease he desires cannot be said trivial.

"Miscloud ?"

Andre immediately raised his head towards the sound and saw Alya standing on the doorstep of his room.

"You sick ?"

Alya asked again when he saw Andre was opening some medicine from his packaging for him to drink.

Instead of answering Alya's question, Andre chose to clear the medicine quickly and panic. Afraid that his co-worker knows the biggest secret he's covering up.

"You can knock on the door first right before you go in ?" Ask Andre.

"I knocked on your door many times but there was no answer. Sorry for opening your door unanswered." Alya replied calmly.

"Here, I just want to hand over the file you asked for." Alya handed over the stack of files he had just finished working on and Andre received them immediately.

"If there's no more work, I'll be allowed to go home first,"

"Your son is not there to look after ?" Andre asked without taking his eyes off the paper he was reading.

"Mmm, there...,"

"Then accompany me on another task." Cut it and Alya also undoes his intention to go home.

Andre was relieved to see Alya sitting himself on a chair not far from him.

"Later home I'll just calm down. Just for a second, please accompany me for a moment." Alya nodded her head without making a sound.

At the moment Andre is not wanting to be alone, even though he knows the presence of his coworkers will not help much because Alya is a woman who does not talk much. He no longer asked about Andre's pain.

"So what else can I help you with?" Ask Alya and Andre also gave other files.

Long enough they sat together in silence, until Andre would not want to have to take the medicine but this time it looks like Alya does not care.

"Alya, have you ever had any serious problems ?"

"I live alone with a toddler. Do you think it's not heavy ?" Alya asked back.

Andre laughed insipidly at having felt that he had asked something ridiculous.

"Everyone must have problems in their lives, but every problem they have must be different. So don't feel yourself suffering the most." Alya said and made Andre shut up for a moment.

"If your burden is too heavy, you can also tell stories to the people you trust the most." Alya again.

"The man I believed was no more, he left because of me too." Instantly the shadow of Gibran's face as his best friend first flashed in his mind.

Alya looked at Andre's face deeply and question markingly.

"Many bad things I've done, Alya. Many people I have hurt." Andre said as he took a deep breath.

"If you want your burdens to diminish, apologize to them sincerely."

"I'm sick too" Andre cut.

"It can still be treated ?" Ask Alya.

Andre nodded his head in response.

"Then what are you worried about ? God still gives you a chance then use it as best you can."

Andre listened carefully and dived into what Alya said. Although it is not complicated, its meaning is so deep. He was relieved to share a little of the burden of his heart.

Gibran had reached the parking lot of his house. His head bowed, thinking about what had happened a few hours ago. She didn't expect Amanda to express her feelings.

With a wry smile Gibran recalled the events of the past when Andre came to his house to approach Sabina. He was so jealous and furious that he came to Andre's apartment and beat him up.

Then, Amanda continued to approach him to express her feelings. It was inconceivable what Sabina had done to him.

Gibran vividly remembers how Sabina threatened to leave him. Let alone being abandoned, silenced like this he had suffered greatly. But his tongue feels like every story will tell.

"Oh my God..." Lirih Gibran and he got out of his car.

"Where is Sabina ?" Gibran asked when the one who opened the door for him was that Mbok Inah was not his wife.

"Non Bina is cooking with Mom in the kitchen,"

"Ooh," Gibran muttered. She thought too much about Sabina until she forgot that her mother was in her house.

Gibran walked into the kitchen and leaned his body against the door. Sabina was busy cooking with her mother.

Sabina looks beautiful with a flower patterned pregnant dress that her mother sewed in the village. His long hair was braided in origin but looked so charming to Gibran. Gibran's eyes never stopped paying attention. He really missed his wife Sabina.

"Bina" said Gibran at the end. Make the wife turn her head.

"You've come home yet ? I'm sorry I didn't know how cool it was to cook with mom."

"No pa-pa" replied Gibran with a sad face, making Sabina and her mother-in-law look at each other as if asking what is wrong with Gibran now.

Gibran walked up to his mother and grabbed her hand for her kiss. While Sabina immediately washed her hands and wiped them with a tissue and she greeted her husband.

But Gibran did not leave after Sabina experienced him. He stood before Sabina without caring for her mother to notice.

"Bina, take care of your husband first, let me continue on my own is fine." Said her mother-in-law as the atmosphere became awkward instantly.

"Ka... You want coffee ?" Ask Sabina. Gibran shook his head without making a sound.

"You want to change clothes first ?" Ask sabina again.

"Yes," gibran replied, but the man did not go to his room when usually Gibran will go straight to the room on the 2nd floor to clean himself and go back downstairs after finishing changing clothes.

"I was ready to change Gibran's clothes, ma'am" Sabina said, and her mother-in-law agreed.

Gibran walked behind Sabina. He followed her wherever she went until she arrived in their room.

"Why are you ?" Sabina asked in amazement.

"I miss you, Bina." Gibran answered and immediately he took Sabina in his arms. He lowered his head and grabbed Sabina's lips with his. Her pengulum was full of demands and a burning longing.

"Gibran.wait, mmm,"

Gibran again put his lips together when separated even if only briefly. And impatiently led Sabina into their bed.

Not only that, his hands had been busy stripping the cloth covering his wife's body as well as the cloth covering his own body.

"Gibrans... Nghhhh..," Shunned Sabina because Gibran touched every inch of his body with tenderness and the gaze full of Gibran's eyes continued to lay on his wife who was rolled beautifully without a thread.

"I told you, Bina. I miss it so much." Gibran said and he put his body together perfectly.

***

Sabina's regular breathing was heard in her arms. Several times Gibran gave a kiss on the top of his wife's head with anxiety.

Time shows at 1 p.m., I don't know how many times Gibran wrestled his wife's body tonight. The longing he felt made him want Sabina again and again.

"I miss you, Bina." Whisper again. Gibran tightened his arms as if afraid of losing his wife.

"I'm always here waiting for you to come home, I've never been anywhere." Answer Sabina lirih.

Sabina's words made Gibran aware, not the distance that made them 'separate' but 'silence' and the little secret that Gibran hid that made them like that.
