A DIVIDED HEART
Episode 63

Prima had just woken up from a bad sleep, her sleep-filled night adorned with dreams she could not understand. Even though he knew that dreams were a sleeping flower but the feeling of worry and anxiety was still in his heart.

He then rushed to the bathroom and after changing clothes, without breakfast or drinking anything he rushed out of his house and drove off somewhere.

I was in William's room this morning. The new boss I worked for, actually until now I was still not comfortable with the circumstances around me, even more so with my job as secretary of William.

Indeed, his work is not strenuous, just following wherever he goes, wherever he meets with clients, he said, take note of what needs to be noted and the rest I can still sit back if William no longer travels.

But, the feelings of the past as well as the guilt were still trailing behind me, recalling what I had done to her but now she acted as if nothing had ever happened and was always as sweet as when I was with her.

I wanted to stop yesterday because I wasn't very comfortable around William, but then I undo my intentions because I realize the more I avoid the more difficult it is to get through a time where I should have gone through what I started.

"Don't daydream" William's slow voice right in front of me made me surprised because I was daydreaming while playing a ballpoint pen.

"N-no, I'm not daydreaming" I jumped up and then stood up, but William instead laughed giggling while covering his mouth. I was standing right behind the chair I was sitting in while William was across my desk

I then observed myself, starting from the hair I had let loose, the checkered shirt limited to the elbows I was wearing, the long black warrants to my shoes, but I didn't find anything strange there. Until in the end I took my phone and glazed over there but again I did not find anything strange there and somehow William still laughed.

"Is there anything funny, sir?" then I was so curious

William shook his head, "There's no need to speak formally, there's no one else here!" he continued, still standing there while crossing both his hands on his chest

"But my boss and I do it because I respect you" I replied later

"Don't ngeyel" William leaned his body towards me making me instantly nervous and retreated my steps

"Call me Willy, just like back then, when you were both with me. And call me Mr. Adi when there is someone else or we are with a client" he said again and then he sat down his chair,

His chair and desk are not far from my place and may only be a few meters away while my desk is right next to the entrance of this room.

I was still standing behind my chair, holding my chest which was now rumbling and beating faster

"Sit down, are you not tired of constantly standing up!" he said a little and I sat down

"I'll never let you go, Nes. I'm gonna keep it all going until I can have you" William's inner self, smiling, staring at me occasionally and his laptop alternately

Silence covered the two of us, no important conversation. I myself until now did nothing just sit back and occasionally reply to messages from Dad.

There was no answer from William, he still continued to focus on his lapotope, although occasionally I saw him smile and did not know what he saw.

"Sir" Once again I called him but he was still silent. In the end, I got up and came closer to him

"Sir, dear Mr Adi!" William smiled and raised his head but he did not answer

"What should I do?" I continued but again he did not answer and just smiled, I was annoyed because of his actions until I finally realized that you should not call him formally when there is no one else.

I hesitated to do so, because to be honest I was still nervous and awkward when calling her name. I repeatedly convinced myself but I still doubted, until in the end I could do nothing and obey him.

"Wi-Willy" my voice was soft and somewhat stammered. The name owner smiled again and made me more nervous, that sweet smile, the smile that I longed for but in the end I left and now the smile is back and right in front of me

"Yes, baby" he replied quietly and made me round my eyes, I didn't expect to get an answer like this, an answer I always missed first but somehow for now

"Don't kidding, William" I said curled up with a sour face

"I'm not kidding, I'm sincere about it" he replied again and stood up then walked towards me with a sharp look

I automatically retreated as the man in the brown suit approached with eyes staring intently at me as if I were a ready prey

"Don't come any closer!" I shouted while waving at him, he complied and stopped but again he smiled and I did not know what he meant

"What are you going to do, William?" I continued while walking backwards again

"Come on!" he said, and without warning he pulled my arm and automatically I followed him

"Where?" William was still silent and continued to follow my hand out of the room,

"Wait!" and he stopped, and from there I took my hand out of his hand and then lightning-fast back to the study, took my bag and my cell phone and followed William, who was now walking away from me

I couldn't reach him, his wide footsteps made me feel tired chasing him. It's a good thing it's not lunch break yet so there's not a single employee who saw me chasing William

Now that William and I had reached the parking lot, William got into his car first and I followed him with great difficulty,

"Where are we going, William?" ask me while continuing to adjust the breath that stifles

"We will see Mr. Director" he said briefly then drove his car to a place that I do not know exactly where.
