"No, let's just go to the hospital," elak Yumna as Haidar invites him to go home. Sometimes indeed Yumna had to obey what her husband said so that Haidar did not demand much more in the future.
Haidar glanced at Yumna, the woman was now sitting by leaning herself against the chair and staring outwards. Eagerly wanted her to speak, but seeing her silence Yumna made Haidar urung say nothing.
In Yumna's heart there was a bit of disappointment, also asking what was with her that she could not control her emotions. Even if she's really pregnant doesn't matter, but if not?
Hospitals.
Haidar and Yumna walked towards a room, they walked without speaking at all. Every now and then Haidar glanced at his wife, his gaze straight ahead and seemingly indifferent to the existence of himself beside her.
'Is Yumna angry, huh?' inner Haidar in the heart.
Arriving at the doctor's room, lucky not much queue so Yumna only had to wait for two pregnant women who were waiting as well.
His hand stroked his flat stomach, glancing in envy at the two young mothers who were a few months pregnant.
'Is it possible that I can also get pregnant like them?' inner Yumna. The doctor said there was nothing wrong with the two of them, but the timing was not right for them to have children.
"You will have one day" said Haidar, taking Yumna's hand into his lap. Yumna just lowered her head.
"But when? We have diligently made it, follow the doctor's advice, take medicine from the doctor as well, but I ...." Yumna decided to stop her words.
"Propsy. Most importantly, we try to do our best. The result is a bonus for us. It's not that we've enjoyed our game so much all this time" said Haidar, whispering softly and chuckling. Yumna was ashamed to hear her husband's words and pinched the man's waist. Haidar grimaced in pain as a result of what Yumna did.
"Aw, sick!" he nodded while rubbing his waist.
"You know, if you talk in the filter, remember where this is," said Yumna glanced at the others, thankfully no one heard. They were busy with pink and hp books on hand.
Haidar only chuckled softly, leaning on Yumna's shoulder and stroking Yumna's stomach gently.
"One day there will be life here. You have to be sure of Yumna" said Haidar encouragingly. Yumna nodded slowly and smiled, rubbed Haidar's cheeks and kissed her husband's hair. The smell of shampoo emanated from Haidar's hair, making Yumna calm down.
"Your shampoo is fragrant" said Yumna lirih.
The two women who had taken turns to enter the doctor's room, there was only Yumna and some people who had just come and were going to do an examination. Finally a nurse came out of the room and called Yumna by name, and she and her husband entered the room.
"Mbak Yumna, it's nice to see you again with Mama and husband" the woman's doctor said, extending her hand. "How's the situation all along? No complaints, right?" ask the doctor.
"Nothing, Doctor. Everything is going well" replied Yumna.
"What did I say you did?" the doctor looked at the two.
"Of course, Doctor. Everything my doctor and wife said was done well." This time Haidar answered.
"Certainly? What are you guys up here for? Isn't this not the control schedule anymore?" The doctor frowned, staring at the two people in turn.
Haidar became confused as to what would answer. Did he have to say about the nature of Yumna who was crying earlier?
"Em, we came here for an examination only. Can the doctor check me out? I want to be in the USG" Yumna said. The doctor was confused by the young woman's request.
"USG'S? Is Ma'am Yumna any complaints?" ask the doctor to worry.
"Well, if I have a late period, is it possible that I am pregnant?" ask Yumna at last. He remembered seeing the calendar on the doctor's desk. It's already the middle of the month, whereas he should have gotten his monthly guests early last month. Often not in accordance with his wishes so that makes Yumna ignore it and choose not to think about the child anymore.
"Tag? How many weeks has it been?" ask doctor. Haidar was shocked when he heard Yumna say that. Now he believes that changing his wife's attitude is common for a pregnant woman. Hope so.
"I think it should be the beginning of the month" replied Yumna. He spoke without looking at the doctor and was more focused on the date on the table.
The doctor smiled thinly. Even if he knows what that means, the procedure still has to be done.
"We'll check it out first." The doctor started removing the device and measuring Yumna's blood pressure.
"Go to bed" said the doctor. Yumna complied and turned to the little bed that was there, as did Haidar who followed his wife.
A small pressure the doctor puts on the lower abdomen, checking what should be checked. Haidar and Yumna waited for the doctor to speak with a thumping chest.
"You UG?" ask the doctor again. Yumna nodded her head, then the doctor took the gel and asked Yumna to undress a little. Cold and wet Yumna felt when the doctor applied the gel to the surface of his skin.
"Excuse me, yeah." The doctor then examined her, moving an instrument over Yumna's abdomen. Haidar and Yumna held their breaths as the doctor did not speak, the doctor's gaze staring at the black screen beside the gurney.
"Doctor, how?" ask Haidar impatiently. Yumna was just as impatient, but the doctor had not spoken anything yet.
"In a moment, yeah." The doctor pressed the device slightly deep in Yumna's stomach. A little linu, but Yumna just hold it.
"Have there been any complaints so far? Nausea, vomiting, no appetite, or a bad mood?" ask the doctor, moving his hand there.
Yumna shook her head. "No nausea vomiting, I also eat normally" he replied.
"But Yumna's mood is not good, Doctor," Haidar said.
The doctor smiled again, when he found something on the black screen. "There's good news. Two" said the doctor, lifting two fingers.
"Du-two? Meaning ... Yumna's really pregnant?" tanya Haidar could not believe it. The doctor now looked at Yumna and Haidar alternately.
"Yes, thank God. Finally what you are waiting for comes too" said the doctor.
Yumna stared silently at the black screen with two faint white dots, while Haidar jumped up in joy at the good news.
"Yumna. We'll have two" said Haidar glad to still jump, then hugged Yumna who was still lying on top of the gurney. The face he kissed many times.
The doctor stepped aside and gave more room for the two to rejoice.
"Honey, we'll have two" said Haidar happily. However, Yumna was still silent and stared at the black screen in disbelief.
"Two," she shrieked in a soft tone, tears streaming out from her beautiful eyes.
