Rescue of the Princess

Without delaying any more time, Daru and Frey rode towards Sarren Hill. Frey still felt like he had no face after drawing his sword towards Daru. The journey was quiet because there was no conversation between the two of them, only the sound of ground pounding from the legs of two horses could be heard.

The journey to Sarren Hill takes five days. The two of them had arrived at a place not far from the hill. It just so happens that tonight is a full moon, leaving Daru and Frey with enough vision. Therefore, Daru planned to act now.

"Tonight is a full moon, the perfect time to strike" Daru said.

Frey was just speechless, he was still thinking about what happened a few days ago.

"Hahh .. five days you don't talk. If you're still having issues about what happened at the Palace, then forget about it" Daru said.

"But ...."

"I said forget it, you did the right thing. I told you to guarantee your King's safety anyway."

"Sorry."

"Forget it. Now listen to my plan, you're an important point in this mission."

Daru explains his plan to Frey. After explaining the technical issue, Daru and Frey exchanged weapons. Daru now holds Frey's sword and Frey holds Daru's bow.

Daru actually had no swordsmanship at all. And the plan he had in mind did not require a sword at all, it was just in case the situation got bad. While Frey, already has some experience with the bow, and because of Daru's bow which has a very heavy appeal, makes Frey more confident to kill opponents with one shot.

"Then, I divert my attention, you enter while you have the opportunity" Daru said.

"Take care of yourself" Frey said after nodding.

"You too" said Daru smiling.

The location of Princess Rennesia is in a cave on Sarren hill. The cave is also the headquarters of the most dangerous robber organization called Bloodhand. Bloodhand usually only focuses on robbery and murder. However, six months ago their leader obtained a request from one of the nobles in Worez Kingdom to kidnap the Princess of Resia Kingdom.

The cave looked like a dangerous cave because many human and animal bones were scattered in front of it. It made people afraid to enter it so that no one knew that inside the cave was the headquarters of Bloodhand.

Daru was currently right in front of the mouth of the cave. He took out a laser gun that was already fully charged, it could shoot as many as seven electric bullets. He pointed the muzzle of the gun beside the mouth of the cave.

"Until when do we arrest Princess Rennesia? It's been six months that we've kidnapped him" asked one of the robbers to the other robber beside him.

The two of them chatted until a very loud sound and vibration was heard on the ground.

"Sarren Hill wants to erupt?" said one of the robbers in a panic.

"Let's warn the others to come out save themselves, I'll call the chairman." The two robbers rushed to tell the others to get out. They think Sarren Hill is erupting.

Meanwhile outside the cave.

"Wait for the robbers to come out...." Mumbled Daru.

Soon more than a hundred people came out of the cave. They seemed unprepared to fight judging from the looks of those who wore makeshift clothes without carrying any weapons. According to Daru's plan, using the sound of explosions and vibrations to make them think there is a natural disaster and get out of the cave.

The robbers looked at Daru with expressions of astonishment.

"Who are you?!" shouted one of the robbers.

Daru just shut up and swept his eyes across everyone and he did not see a woman there. He smiled and pointed his pistols at the robber.

The first shot left thirty people dead. Daru knew that the electrical characteristics could propagate, when he shot one person, people near the target would be hit.

The robbers who were not affected by the effects of electricity were simply shocked by the sight they witnessed. How not, in a short time many people who died due to lightning. More surprisingly, the lightning came from a young man standing alone in front of the cave.

Seeing the robbers not moving, Daru again fired four bullets in different directions. Just a few seconds, almost all the robbers were killed on the spot. The surviving robbers tried to run as hard as they could. Daru just watched the man run away, not intending to kill him.

"Damn! Why must it now erupt!" shouted a burly man. He is the head of Bloodhand. Just a moment ago, he was asleep and was startled by the sound of an explosion accompanied by a trembling ground. Shortly after, his subordinates entered his room and said that Sarren Hill would erupt. He ordered his subordinates to leave the cave immediately. He will bring Princess Rennesia. Right now, Princess Rennesia was a precious item so she could not leave it.

"Let's get out. You still need me. I can't let you die after the effort I've put in" the Chief told Princess Rennesia.

The Princess of Rennesia only resigned when drawn by Chief Bloodhand. He no longer had the strength to fight. If only he could rebel, he would rather die than continue to be a victim of kidnapping.

In the cave there were no more robbers left, all had already come out. Only the robber chief who was currently pulling Princess Rennesia out was left. When it was about to reach the mouth of the cave, Chief Bloodhand smelled a very pungent scorch. The closer to the mouth of the cave, the more pungent the smell. When he had enough vision, he was surprised instead of playing with the scenery he was witnessing now. Bodies were lying in a charred state, and there was a young man holding something standing in the middle of the body.

"Who are you?!" shouted Chief Bloodhand.

"I am the one who will finish you off" Daru said in a cold tone.

Hearing that, Chief Bloodhand grabbed the neck of Princess Rennesia and pointed a small knife at her neck.

"Ah, so classic." Scattered with Daru's words, an arrow shot from above towards the head of the bloodhand chief.

The arrow stuck right in the head of the top of the bloodhand chief. He fell and died there. The arrow came from Frey who had been above the cave since earlier. Daru orders him to shoot only when Princess Rennesia is held as a hostage or when Princess Rennesia is near the robbers.

Princess Rennesia was terrified by what had just happened. Starting from the number of charred corpses, and the death of the head of bloodhand right behind him.

"Aaaaaahhhhh!" Princess Rennesia screamed and fell while trying to get away from the corpse of the head of Bloodhand.

Frey immediately went down and approached Princess Rennesia.

"Mr Princess, I've come to save you. The young man was there too" said Frey on his knees.

"To-please take me away from here," said Princess Rennesia in fear.

"Your Majesty."

Frey led Princess Rennesia away from where the bodies were. Daru looked at the two of them for a moment and started to take care of the corpses lying down.

Daru collected all the bodies in one place and piled them up. He planned to burn the bodies so as not to cause a terrible disease outbreak. He took out the remaining gasoline from Julius Tomb and began pouring it into the pile of corpses and burning them.

Frey, who saw what Daru was doing, approached him.

"Why did you burn it?" ask Frey

"To avoid an outbreak?" answer Daru briefly.

"Hahh .. You can't decipher magic?" ask Frey again.

"Ummm ..., No?" answer Daru.

"I thought I'd do it." Frey also stood not far from the burning corpse pile and began reciting spells. Shortly thereafter, the high fire was extinguished. It is replaced by green light and white particles rising upwards. The longer, the more particles it flew upwards.. Moments later the particles disappeared along with the corpse pile.

Daru who was astonished asked Frey about the magic.

"Ah, you don't know about decomposers' magic? It's basic magic. Useful for decomposing any corpse. You stayed too long in the Arc Forest so you didn't know about this magic" Frey replied.

Daru only smiled awkwardly in response to it. Then he asked, "What is Miss Rennesia's condition?"

"She was fine, just a little shocked by what she had just seen. By the way, what kind of magic did you use that could cast such a powerful lightning bolt?"

"Ahh, it's a secret magic passed down from my family. I can't tell you." Of course he lied, he couldn't answer he had a weapon from another world.

"Ah so ..., continue, how do you feel after killing so many people? I was up there goosebumps watching you kill."

Daru did not check how much money he could as his gaze was fixated on something else. Daru saw a lot of gold jewelry and beautiful precious stones. Without a second thought, Daru stuffed everything into his dimension ring. Daru continued the search to other rooms.

When he arrived in one of the rooms, he found dozens of young men and women tied up in miserable conditions.

"Slave?" murmured Daru.

One of the men there saw a young man with an unfamiliar face. He shouted, "Help us!"

Everyone started screaming for help to be released.

Daru swiftly cut the ropes that bound the men with Frey's sword.

After freeing everyone, Daru tells them to come out and tell them that there is someone outside with him. Hearing that, the faces of those people became slightly bright, they nodded and left the cave.

"Ah, why in this world is there slavery.bad!" Daru Umpat.

Daru searched the other rooms and found nothing, and he walked outside the cave.

When he came out of the cave, he was greeted by people with a happy expression. They were truly grateful to be released from the status of the slaves they were about to receive. In fact, they were not slaves, but ordinary villagers and were forced into slavery by the bloodhand group. Daru who heard it could only furrow his brows.

"This group of robbers is cruel" Daru said, shaking his head.

"Brothers, I'm sorry but we have to part now. Although it is still night time, my friend and I must return to Moon City immediately. In the cave there are still clothes and some food, take it and go back to your village. I hope you can take good care of yourself in the future." Daru said so because he did not want if they followed him back to Moon City it would take too much time.

The people's reaction shows that they understand. They thanked Daru and flocked to the cave to pick up food.

"Daru, are you sure we're going back home now?" ask Frey.

"Faster is better. I just don't want any unexpected problems to come," Daru replied.

"Well, I'll ride with Princess Rennesia." Frey walked over to Princess Rennesia. Then they walked to where the horse was.
