Daru slightly opened his eyes and seeing that the sun had been directly above his head, he woke up at noon.
"Tuffa, are you hungry?" A buzzing sound in Daru's ears.
Daru turned to the source of the voice and found two people sitting behind him, the two people who were in charge of guarding Daru, Tuffa and Dior.
"Yes, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hungry, the last time we ate food was yesterday." The voice of the woman beside Dior, Tuffa.
"Hahh, this situation, I hope Mr. Sergio is right about Mr. Daru," Dior murmured with a sigh.
The conversation of the two people made Daru confused about the "state" that Dior mentioned.
"You guys are elves, right? Tell me about the 'state' you mentioned," Daru said as he rose from his recline.
"Mr Daru!" Tuffa and Dior kneeled towards Daru while simultaneously pronouncing his name.
"Stop it, say it right away" Daru said in return for their respect.
Daru was a little irritated by their attitude which raised Daru too much.
"That's ...." Tuffa and Dior exchanged glances, confused as to what to answer.
"Please forgive us, Mr. Daru. It would be better if Mr. Sergio explained directly. We are both afraid of disappointing Mr Sergio" Tuffa said with a sincere apology.
"Hahh, forget it, you're hungry, right? Help me find firewood and collect it in this place." Daru stood up and jumped quite high towards the tree branch, making Tuffa and Dior gawk in astonishment at Daru's strength.
Daru had replenished his energy by sleeping long enough, making it feel very easy to jump from one tree to another like the shinobi of the ninja village of Koronagakure.
I forgot to ask what can elves eat, can they eat meat? Or are they herbivores? Ah shit! swear Daru in the heart while continuing to look for things that can be eaten.
In the midst of him looking for food, Daru suddenly felt a chill full of terror emanating from the side. When Daru turned his head, he was surprised by what he saw.
Lizard head, horns, fangs, and .. wings! It's dragon! daru said inwardly before speeding up his pace, trying to run away from the huge figure that Daru believed to be a dragon.
How did he not run away? The dragon's elongated pupils were pointing at Daru, as if watching his every move.
When Daru felt that he had run far enough away, Daru turned his head back and did not find the figure chasing after him, making Daru feel relieved, until he felt the terror again.
Daru reluctantly looked back at the source of the terror, cold sweat drenching his back when he saw the same figure watching him. This time, the dragon figure was closer, making Daru could clearly see the look of the dragon.
The dragon had an iguana-like head with a pair of fangs and horns that were quite long. His whole body was dark red. It has four legs with long black nails. On his back, Daru could see the flap of wings that Daru believed could stretch over 10 meters.
He's fast! thought Daru.
Daru knew, in a situation like this, calmness was everything. Only with sobriety can man think rationally, be able to think the best course of action to choose.
Daru closed his eyes and inhaled a deep breath, he held his breath for a moment before exhaling it and opening his eyes.
"You wanna fight?" said Daru with incredible calm. Daru was sure that if he ran away, the dragon could catch up to him quickly. Therefore, he preferred to fight and make the dragon exhausted before escaping.
The dragon's head gasped a little when it heard Daru's words, with the look of its eyes changing, the dragon looked back at Daru.
Highlight those eyes, like a smiling person, Daru thought.
Daru replied, which he thought was smiling, stretching out his hands and smiling as he said, "Come!"
Like a whipped horse, the dragon darted towards Daru with its front legs like a tiger pouncing on prey.
Brakes
Bugs
The dragon did not budge and suddenly the dragon's pupils turned flatter. The terror was back Daru felt, and this time, the feeling was worse than before.
Daru who felt an overwhelming terror immediately moved away from where he stood. He regained his breath, trying to regain his composure.
Huhh
Daru let out a long breath and looked at the dragon with complete calmness.
The dragon head again snapped as if surprised, making Daru feel there was an opportunity to attack.
Daru darted towards the dragon by clenching his right hand. However,
"Please stop, Mr. Daru, Mr. Alrin!"
Daru painstakingly stopped his steps which had been filled with an incredible energy. He looked towards the source of the voice and saw Tuffa and Dior panting while holding both knees.
"Hooo, you two know this human?"
Daru was surprised to hear the source of the voice coming from the dragon he had previously fought with.
"You can talk!?" asked Daru with a dumbfounded expression.
"You don't know? You ran away before I spoke, and instead challenged me when I wanted to speak," the dragon replied.
"You're looking at me like you're about to prey on me! And what the fuck with that look of terror?" Blood vessels protruded on Daru's forehead, signaling that he was currently angry.
"My eyes are like that! You alone are too weak to feel the terror from my gaze!" The dragon also looked angry when it said that.
"You are weak! You can't even touch me!"
"Yo, yo, that's enough." A voice that was familiar enough to everyone there was heard.
Daru looked towards the source of the voice and said, "Sergio."
Suddenly, Tuffa, Dior, and the dragon lowered their heads towards Sergio.
"Master Sergio!" yell at the three of them simultaneously.
Daru's brows furrowed when he saw the attitude of the three people so submissive to Sergio.
Seeing Daru's reaction, Sergio said, "You must be confused, I will tell you about what happened 100 years ago and about me who is now respected by them."
"Begin the story" said Daru.
"We better get to the village first. Oh, that dragon is called Arlin, he is the protector of the village."
"How did Mr Sergio get to know such a barbarian human?" arlin asked with a sinister look towards Daru.
"Barabar? Hahaha, how can you call it barbarians?" Sergio asked.
"Cih, fucking lizard," said Daru slowly.
Arlin could hear it and immediately said, "Who are you calling a lizard!?"
