Pandora's Box and Predictions

Once upon a time, a god created the first female human being named Pandora. Since Pandora was the first female human, the Gods gave her excessive grace, such as beauty, cleverness, elegance, ambition, tenderness of heart, and so on. The god who created it also gave a gift of great curiosity.

When Pandora was about to be revealed to the world, her creator God gave her a box and told her not to open it under any circumstances. The box is very beautiful, decorated with jewels that are enough to make someone's eyes narrow when looking at it. Pandora undertakes it and brings the box down to the human world.

Several years passed and during that time, Pandora's curiosity towards the box given by the Gods grew even higher. He was always thinking and guessing about the contents of the box.

If the box alone is this beautiful, let alone its contents .., Pandora thought at all times.

When curiosity was at its peak, Pandora broke the orders of her God-creator, she opened the box.

When the box opened just as wide as the tip of the nail, Pandora felt an extremely terrifying aura from inside the box. He wanted to close it, yet it was all too late, the box contained an incredible calamity. The disaster came out of the box and spread to all the people in the world.

Outbreaks, diseases, greed, aging, the concept of age, pride, despair, and other bad things plague all humans, except Pandora. When all that misfortune comes out there is one thing left in the box, it is hope. Only hope can compensate for those catastrophes. (Note: pandora's box story has many versions)

"It was a story about pandora's box from my world" Daru said.

Frey who had heard Daru's story was amazed by the story. He began to guess what Daru was planning.

"You want to wrap up the calamity with something beautiful and put hope between the plagues and give it to King Arthur?" asked Frey who was sure his guess was correct.

"No, I'll cut out the fun parts" Daru replied enigmaticly.

"You mean?" ask Frey astonishment.

"I will play the role of a God who gives him pandora's box as well as curiosity. And when he opens the box, there will only be havoc in it." Daru chuckled after saying so.

Frey's brows furrowed and again asked, "What curiosity are you going to give him?"

"My death, that's why I let go of Arthur Baraqiel's two pets and instilled an understanding that I was dead. I can't wait to do it right away" Daru said with an increasingly wide smile.

"Isn't it easier to use the method and get King Arthur to sign a blood contract?" Frey is increasingly confused by Daru's thought path which should be an easy path rather than the other way around.

"It's easier, and it's too easy for him. I want him to feel fear before I make him my slave, why would I make it easier for someone to make things difficult for me?" said Daru.

Frey nodded in agreement with what Daru said, he said, "You're right, what's your plan?"

"Hmm, before that, how long would it take to travel from Moon City towards the capital of Karian Kingdom?"

"About 2 months if using a horse" Frey replied.

"Then, my plan will start in 2 months. I have to make sure Trevis and Iris get in front of Arthur Baraqiel. With that, my plan can really begin," Daru replied.

"Then, what are you going to do now?" ask Frey.

"You can open Sarren Hill from tomorrow, I will disappear from the public. When anyone asks me where I am, just tell me that I am dead and give you the Sarren Hill" Daru replied

"You enjoy what's in the entertainment hall before tomorrow. For entertainment on the fourth floor, I will open it after the situation has subsided" he added.

"You want to do that with me?" ask Frey again.

"Do what?" Daru asked back.

"Enter it with a long stem" Frey replied with a casual expression. Unknowingly, his speech was too ambiguous.

Daru coughed and tried to say, "Don't say anything weird, it's called Billiard."

"I'm not wrong, am I? It does insert with a long rod," said Frey without thinking about anything strange.

"Yes, yeah, long. I'll stay right here. You make all employees understand the entertainment there, tomorrow let them explain it to customers" said Daru.

"How's the business system? You're not gonna make that building a free service, are you?" ask Frey.

"Hmm, the place is free, but the tools like, billiard stick, and table tennis bet and the ball can be purchased from the store. While billiard ball and bowling ball we rent. Get Shera here, have her bring the store report last month," Daru said.

"All right, I'll be there" Frey said before leaving Daru.

Daru remained silent and entered his focus mode.

Demon magic is not magic that can be activated by paying some mana circumference at the beginning. The mana to be expended was proportional to how long stealth magic was used. That was why, stealth magic was classed as high-level magic.

Since he was inside his subconscious, he did not realize that there was someone opening the door and standing there, that person was Shera who was carrying a stack of papers in both hands.

"Boss Frey told me to meet Boss Daru here, but now Boss Daru is not here. Maybe he's in his room now?" shera murmuring.

When he was about to go look for Daru on the lower first floor, he accidentally saw a basin on the surface of the sofa.

He's? Demon magic? Is the Boss trying to hide from me and want to surprise me? I know, Boss isn't that stupid to stay on the couch and leave a sign of his whereabouts. What am I supposed to do? thought Shera.

Shera fell silent and thought about what she should have done to respond to Daru's actions which she considered a joke.

I would make Boss happy by sitting in front of him then pretending to be surprised when he surprised me. I am the best employee! shera said in my heart.

Shera also approached the sofa in front of Daru and placed a pile of paper on the table.

"I'll wait for the Boss, maybe he's busy somewhere else." Shera raised her voice so that Daru believed that Shera did not know that Daru was in front of her.

A few minutes later, Daru returned to his consciousness and raised his eyebrows when he saw that Shera was in front of him.

Shera waited here knowing I was in front of her and couldn't be bothered? He's really smart. Well, besides I left a big enough basin on the sofa I was sitting on, even the little boy knew that there was something on it, thought Daru.

Daru took off his stealth magic and said, "You've been here a long time?"
