Sergio also left the room and headed to the laboratory room to prepare the A.I. promised to Daru, while Daru went from the room and walked down the village street while thinking about what steps he would take.
The village was extremely spacious, probably almost matching the area of Moon City. But the buildings in the village are inversely proportional to the buildings in Moon City. The average building built in the village is made of wood that is almost rotten. The road was just dark red soil, adding to the seedy atmosphere.
Every time Daru crossed paths with the residents, they were always on their knees, not even a few were prostrating towards Daru, making him feel disturbed by their worship. But Daru could not say anything about it, he only accelerated his footsteps so that the residents immediately raised their heads.
Daru also arrived at a building that looked quite sturdy. He with considerable physical strength jumped onto the roof of the building and sat there. Although the sun is not yet close to the horizon, the village is dark because the color of the building and the dark streets, coupled with the expression of the population filled with despair, add to the darkness of the village.
"I will definitely help them, but what can I do?" murmured Daru while looking at the sky above him.
Daru then entered into his thoughts.
Maybe I will ask for a circular area about 1 km from the Sarren Hill wall to Uncle Vanir and make a new wall that is exactly the same as the Sarren Hill wall. Maybe it will be wide enough for them to live in, no one will know that inside the wall is a non-human residence. But, how do I get them out of this place? My teleportation portal needs mana, Sergio's teleportation device can only be used by humans, and they can't get close to the wall either.
The issue of residence for the three races was an easy matter for Daru who could summon Zoref from PT Jin Sejahtera. However, the non-human way to get there is what Daru is currently thinking.
"Thinking, Daru, there is always a way out for the thinking person," murmured Daru.
The cause of all this is an artifact that Julius planted .... Ah, there he is! I can ask him directly! Although he became a ghost, but he still has a memory from when he was alive!
Daru also gained enlightenment for the problems he faces now.
Now, Frey's problem. Daru's expression worsened, full of confusion.
I can't kill him, I don't want him to die. Blood contract? If I use the blood contract on Frey, the memory of me being an otherworldly being still remains on his mind. The organization of the Hand of God can ward off leaking information through Islagram, I will assume they know or even can access it. Frey is my biggest weakness, damn it!
An idea came to Daru's mind, an idea he didn't want to use. But there is no other choice but to do it.
Perhaps, that is all that can be done, Daru thought with his complicated expression.
"Why is my brother on the roof of my house?" Suddenly a small child's voice hit Daru's eardrum from behind.
Daru turned his head and saw a small child looking at him curiously. The little boy had orange fox ears with a fairly thick tail. His clothes were the same as the rest of the population, a dirty t-shirt full of holes.
The little boy was surprised instead of playing after realizing that the one in front of him was Daru, the character who would save the village.
The boy was reflexively about to prostrate himself and apologize for not knowing Daru's identity. However, his prostration was stopped by Daru who darted as fast as lightning approaching the little boy and held both shoulders.
"Don't kowtow," Daru said with a friendly smile.
"A-anu ..," The little boy was about to say something, but a word could not come out of his mouth.
Daru then let go of the little boy's shoulder and said, "I'm Daru, what's your name?"
"Roneys. Beastmen. Foxes. Man. Man. Nine. Years." The little boy stammered when he introduced himself.
"Sit beside me, accompany me to speak." Daru felt there was a chance to get to know this village further. He couldn't do it to the other residents because they always kowtowed when crossing paths with Daru.
"I-yes," said Roni nervously.
Roni was awkwardly sitting next to Daru, 5 meters away. Daru looked at Roni with his flat face and said, "Hoi, do you think you can hear me that far away? Come closer."
"Is there something wrong with me that you're keeping your distance?" asked Daru in an annoyed tone.
"A-anu, Tu-Tuan, I don't deserve to be next to Mister, it's-it's a filthy body" Roni replied as she lowered her head in fear Daru would get angry.
With a tired look, Daru got up and approached Roni and sat down next to him.
"Master Daru!" roni shouted while trying to get away.
"Stay where you are" Daru said in a serious tone.
Roni was even more afraid and chose to be silent while lowering her head.
It was the first time I had ever spoken to a child since I was in this world. What topic should I be talking about? thought Daru confused.
After being silent for a long time, Daru had an epiphany.
"Where are your parents?" tanya Daru started the conversation.
"Umm, they're looking for mushrooms and firewood. Today is the schedule of my parents looking for food" replied Roni who still lowered her head.
"Hoo, hasn't Sergio prepared you guys any food?" ask Daru again.
"Yes, Mr. Sergio is a very good person, Dad said, we all have to ease his burden. Plus the condition of him who would somehow leave us a few more years," replied Roni with dark eyes.
Sergio really became the light in their eyes, Daru thought.
"Do you want to get out of this place, Roni?" ask Daru again.
Roni nodded immediately, right after Daru finished his words.
"I will definitely get you, your parents, and all the villagers out of this place. But I want you to help me" Daru told Roni.
Roni was stunned and shouted, "Whatever it is, Lord Daru!"
Daru smiled cunningly and said, "From now on, call me 'Boss, ' tell it to everyone, and don't kneel or prostrate again towards me."
"Boss?" Roni looked confused.
"Yes, from now on, you're all my employees." Daru smiled wider.
"If you may know, Mr Da-Bos, what are we doing?" ask Roni who is still confused.
"Something very big, something that can shake the six kingdoms in the Isla Continent."
Glug
Roni swallowed his saliva.
