Sergio's story about the history of the Dark Plain finished with Julius' death, Daru was able to capture some points that could answer his question.

Sergio restarts the story after the events of Dark Plain.

After the war was over, the non-human race was trapped in the Dark Plain and could not get out. They rely on the resources within the walls for their living needs, such as food and water. They hunted monsters that were truly monsters to draw their flesh and blood from. They also started planting inside the walls. However, due to the absence of mana, the plants they planted failed miserably. They also only relied on monsters as their main source of food, until the monster population was completely depleted.

Sergio took his step, he started to come out of the Dark Plain with his teleportation device and rob bandit camps to buy groceries. Sergio's teleportation device works very differently than Daru's. Sergio's teleportation device uses no mana and operates by decomposing the user's body and then rebuilding human DNA where it's headed. Non-human races cannot use it, because when their bodies are decomposed and moved to their intended place, the tool does not build their bodies, but rather builds the human body based on the user's DNA. Because human DNA is different from their DNA, their DNA will be disheveled after arriving at the intended place and they will just die.

Not only robbing, Sergio also continues to do research when he is not looking for food. Sergio's mugging went on for decades until Sergio realized that his cloned body was only two.

"Surely, I can't kill him. I will think of a way to deal with that problem" Daru said with a complicated expression.

"If you can't kill him, I can kill him for you" Sergio said.

Daru gave a cold expression before darting to Sergio and pulling his collar.

"Remember, with you thinking that, it's enough to be the reason I kill you now," Daru threatened with emitting a chill from his two eyes.

"I'm sorry, I just don't want your plan to fail" said Sergio, who felt a bit of terror from Daru's eyes.

Daru then removed Sergio's collar and sat down where he had sat before.

"There's always a way for people to think" Daru said.

Sergio simply nodded in response to Daru's remark.

"There's one thing that still makes me confused." Daru stroked his chin.

"What's that?" ask Sergio.

"Why hasn't anyone ever listened to an elf speak? Your story seems to say that only you and Julius know about the fact that they're not monsters." Daru entered into his critical mind.

"Fearful, humans were made afraid by the existence of elves, they instantly killed or ran away when meeting elves or other non-human races. The party behind it is the Hand of God, which gives doctrine through various identities to all humans" Sergio said.

Daru silently thought for a moment before smiling and saying, "Hand of God, they are smart. Control people by holding onto their fears. I feel cliche."

Sergio who did not know what Daru meant just silently did not respond.

"Yes, you want to go back to Sarren Hill? Stay here in a few days, I've told your girlfriend that you'll be home in a few days" Sergio said.

"Why did you tell him that?" ask Daru curiously.

"I want to move my brain memory into an A.I.program and give it to you before you leave. I'm sure it will be useful for your 'pandora box' plan" Sergio replied.

Daru smiled very widely before saying, "Hooo, I can't wait for that, Sergio."
