Upon hearing that, the expressions of the two people in front of him returned blank, not showing the painful expressions like before.

Suddenly Frey who from earlier was beside Daru with an incense stick, released his stealth magic.

"What are you doing?" ask Frey curiously.

"What you light up is what does it," Daru replied lightly.

Frey then looked at the incense stick that was constantly emitting smoke, he asked, "You mean?"

"The smoke that comes out of it makes everyone who smells it obey any command from whoever gives the command. The pill you swallowed earlier was the antidote to its effects," Daru explained.

Frey was surprised and said, "Isn't this something evil? Is this what you used to make the high-ranking five Nobles Families your slaves?"

"Yes .., and yes. Calm down, I promised the late Xavier not to use it recklessly" Daru said.

Daru's reply made Frey's brows furrow as if in disbelief.

"Mendor?" ask Frey again.

Daru raised his eyebrows as it had just come to a realization that his remark had opened one of his secrets.

"I'll tell you later. Now, I want to extract information from both of them. But, it seems like it will be difficult, since they are bound by blood contracts." Daru stroked his chin and thought the most appropriate way to deal with the two people in front of him.

"Can the blood contract be annulled, Frey?" ask Daru.

"Can, if the blood contract letter is tampered with, the contract will not take effect right then and there" Frey explained.

"That means, for now it's not possible. What am I supposed to do?" murmured Daru was confused.

"Why not ask her name? You can ask the Third Eye organization to track down someone with just a name, right? I'm also sure their master didn't forbid them from mentioning their names" Frey suggested.

Daru's expression turned full of light when he heard Frey's suggestion.

Isn't the name of the King of the Karian Kingdom Arthur? (Chp. 2) What plan did he make that considered me a pest? All I know, he pitted against the Vradarian Kingdom and the Kingdom of Resia. I did not interfere with the war between the two kingdoms.

"My answer is, what is your master's plan?" Daru asked back.

The expressions of Trevis and Iris again showed pain after hearing Daru's question.

"Currently, I pulled my question" Daru said after realizing that the blood contract effect was on matters related to King Arthur.

"Daru, do you know who their master is?" ask Frey.

"Yes, and that fact is quite shocking," Daru replied lightly.

Daru is back in focus mode.

Something to do with the Resia Kingdom and the Vradarian Kingdom, but what? What have I done? I have done nothing related to the Vradarian Kingdom, it means that this is all related to the Kingdom of Resia.

After being silent for a while, Daru then realized one thing.

Hypnotic incense only affects commands. If that was not an order, then the person who smelled the scent of incense would only be silent with a blank look. Daru had just forgotten that fact.

"He is heading towards the Karian Kingdom" they replied simultaneously.

Daru smiled very widely, a big plan appeared in his head, while Frey just kept silent due to confusion.

"Yep, you're right" Daru replied briefly.

"They freed Verza Lionness and Verza Lionness towards Karian Kingdom, that means their master is in Karian Kingdom?" ask Frey again.

Frey paused for a moment to think.

They both nodded without saying anything.

"Frey, we're leaving" Daru told Frey.

"That's all? You don't want to catch them? I'm sure we can get valuable information from them even if it's not related to their master" Frey said.

"Just calm down, I have a plan" Daru said before activating his stealth magic.

Frey confusedly started to activate his stealth magic. The two of them went to the teleportation portal to return to Sarren Hill leaving Trevis and Iris still standing there.

Moments after Frey and Daru left the room, the scent of incense faded, causing Trevis and Iris to regain consciousness.

"Hmm? Why am I holding a gun?" trevis's murmuring is confused.

"me too. For some reason, I felt something wrong was going on," Iris replied.

"Let's go back to Karian Kingdom soon, we have to report before something bad happens" Trevis said with a little anxiety.

Iris nodded and immediately packed her things. They both did not know that something bad had happened.

Daru and Frey have arrived at Sarren Hill and immediately unleashed their stealth magic. Daru immediately took Frey to the upper second floor of the store to draw up plans that he wanted to do as a form of resistance against King Arthur.

"Turn it off, sparingly," Daru said after realizing that the hypnotic incense was still burning from earlier.

Frey immediately turned off the incense and returned it to Daru then sat down beside him.

"Before you begin to explain about the man who wanted to kill you, explain to me first about Mr. Xavier whom you refer to as 'the late.' " Frey is still curious because of Daru's previous remark.

"Sorry to have kept this a secret from you, Xavier is dead at the place where his teacher Julius is buried."

Frey was surprised and asked, "What was the cause of his death?"

Daru paused for a moment, inhaling a deep breath and replied, "He killed himself."

Frey was more surprised than ever. How not? Xavier was a powerful figure who was respected by everyone in the Isla Continent. Although Xavier had injured Frey and Daru, in Frey's heart there was still a sense of admiration for Xavier who was the one who repelled the Dark Plain monster with Julius about 100 years ago.

"What made him commit suicide? That's too unlikely, you know?" frey asked with an expression of disbelief.

Daru also tells about the meeting of the two with the ghost of Julius. He tells of the reason Xavier killed himself was because he knew the truth that Daru believed was from the travel book of Julius.

"Xavier burned the book before killing himself, so I don't know for sure what it is" Daru said.

"Well, forget. After all, it has nothing to do with me," Daru added.

Frey nodded and asked, "So, what about the person who wants to kill you? Who's she?" ask Frey.

Daru paused for a moment and replied, "Arthur Baraqiel."

Frey's eyes widened in shock and asked again, "King of the Karian Kingdom?"

"Yep, he is the one," Daru replied lightly.

Frey then leaned his body back and said, "It's pretty big."

Daru smiled and replied, "I've told you that this will be quite a surprise."

Frey was silent for quite a while before drawing closer to Daru, reaching for his hand and saying, "Trust me, whichever kingdom you are an enemy of, I will be beside you, raising my sword, and decapitate those who want to fight you."

"You will never regret having chosen that choice. After this is over, I will give you the Karian Kingdom" Daru said as he let out his best smile.

Frey is a little surprised to know that Daru's words are not a joke, Daru never jokes when talking about his ambitions.

"No need, mine is yours, Daru."

"That's the opposite, Frey," Daru said with great composure.

Frey is certainly very happy to hear that, not because of what Daru will give, but because Daru considers him an important person for Daru.

If you really give the Karian Work to me, I will try half-dead to give the entire Isla Continent to you, Frey's determination was formed very maturely in his heart.
