Chapter 82: The Destroyer Mood
"Darling what's wrong." Frank chases Scarlett after realizing Scarlett is no longer with Elizya.
"They broke my mood" Scarlett said.
"Thanks." said Scarlett as Frank pulled out a chair for her. Both then sit down.
"What they've said makes Mrs Frank Carrington's candidate pout hmm." Frank gently rubbed Scarlett's hand.
"Ah. Forgetit. I'll reply to him later. They're really mood destroyers" Scarlett said.
"If you need help, just tell me. I know enough of the women and the scandals" Frank said, peeping at Scarlett's back.
"Where do you know?" ask Scarlett.
"Later we will discuss. We didn't come here to talk about them" Frank replied. Scarlett then nodded.
The event was then enlivened by performances from several famous musicians. At the table the guests had prepared a banquet for them.
"Honey, just one glass." said Frank reminded his lover when he saw Scarlett gulp wine in his glass. Scarlett then nodded. He knew Frank was worried about him getting drunk.
"May we join here." said Felix coming with Elizya. Frank who saw that was immediately annoyed.
"The bully came," Frank's murmur made Scarlett chuckle upon hearing it.
"No.." Frank replied.
"I'm not asking you for Frank's opinion" Felix said, sitting without permission from Frank and Scarlett.
"Felix, you know Frank?" ask Elizya. Felix then nodded.
"He's Scarlett's boss and my business partner baby" Felix said. Elizya furrowed her brows. So Frank is Scarlett's boss. That means he's Fictor Carrington's grandson.
"That means you already know if Scarlett and Frank are lovers. Why don't you tell me" Elizya said.
"You said__" Felix looked at Scarlett as if unsure. So they're lovers now.
"Yes, Scarlett's officially my lover" said Frank to kiss Scarlett's lips.
"Your lips always distract me dear." said Frank showing his affection in front of Felix. I'm sure the man was already hot cold when he saw them.
"Scarlett what do you mean?" felix's hatch made Elizya look at him.
"Ma. I mean, how can you accept Frank so quickly. You've only met in a few months. Aren't you afraid of being played with by him" Felix said.
"What does it have to do with you. You're a nobody. I'm entitled to date anyone" Scarlett told Felix.
"Felix." said Elizya, wiping the man's hand.
"Forget it." said Felix looking at Frank with a look as if he wanted to beat him up.
"In addition to business partners, it turns out we'll be a family too" said Frank wagging a glass in his hand staring at Felix.
"Yes, you're right." Felix replied.
Shortly after, Frank's phone rang. The man reached into his phone from inside his pocket and caught a glimpse of his phone screen.
"I picked up the phone for a bit" Frank said, peeping Scarlett's neck in shock. Frank is so weird. That guy's hard to guess. Doing something suddenly.
"What's wrong?" scarlett asked as Felix and Elizya looked at her.
"I told you, if I didn't mess with what I said. I promised not to disturb your relationship" he continued.
"Yes, that's good. Right not baby," Felix replied to Elizya's hand. The woman just nodded.
Scarlett folded her hands together, "sometimes I think. Why haven't I met Frank in the past. And my time won't be wasted chasing after a man who obviously doesn't like me. Ah, that's my stupidity" Scarlett said.
"Let me cut it up" said Felix, taking over Elizya's plate of steak.
"Thanks Felix." said Elizya.
