Chapter 14: Eliminating Boredom

"Why does it feel so bored" Scarlett murmured not knowing what else to do. Watching, reading has been done to eliminate his sense of boredom.

"I'll just make a cake..."

Scarlett took her wand, then stood up. He came out of his room wearing shorts with an armless top.

Scarlett ignored Elizya and Felix who were sitting in the living room. It looks like Elizya is showing a photo of the shooting.

"Miss, what are you doing there?" doris asked, looking at Scarlett who was looking for something in the kitchen.

"Ah.. Doris is lucky you came. I'm gathering ingredients to make a cake. Can you help me" Scarlett asked.

"Of course Miss," said Doris looking astonished at the young Miss who never cooked even Nonanya was so lazy to set foot in the kitchen. Scarlett's habit is to shop and spend her money. Gilda was surprised to see Scarlett's walk in closet and the contents of her atm were thinning. Really wasteful.

"Tell them not to come here. I just need you to help me out here" Scarlett said as she saw two servants coming into the kitchen.

"Well Miss," said Doris giving the two maids a code to stay away.

"I don't want to make small talk with them" Scarlett said.

"They'll say. Miss. what are you doing here. Let us do it" Scarlett mimicked the voice of the waiter and laughed. Doris who saw it laughed and felt something strange about her.

"What I can't do in the kitchen" continued Scarlett smashed an egg on top of the container but unfortunately the fragments of the eggshell actually entered the container.

"Gilda?" Doris's murmur. Scarlett then woke up.

"Who's Gilda?" scarlett asked as if she didn't know how to look at Doris.

"Didn't Miss call it that before" Doris said.

"Me," said Scarlett pointing at him.

"I feel like I said my name. Doris, it seems you're not focused. Are you not well?" scarlett.

"I think I misheard Miss. Understandably, age is getting older," Doris said. Scarlett then laughed.

"Since when can you make Miss cake? Nina seems to have made it a lot. Even Miss didn't see the recipe anymore," Doris asked curiously as she melted the chocolate over the medium flame.

"I'm actually learning too. I'm bored at home. My friend suggested I make a cake. I helped him several times when I visited his apartment. She has a hobby of cooking because that's why I've remembered the recipe. She used to make this cake" Scarlett said. Doris nodded her head.

"And since there's you, I think it'll work" Scarlett said, pressing the power button on the mixer.

"Miss could have been. I am also not a cake expert. Miss Elizya is very good at this. Miss Elizya should have been here to accompany Miss," Doris said instantly leaving Scarlett speechless. Doris who noticed it became awkward. He forgets that he doesn't like Elizya. Elizya was a good woman according to Doris.

After the cake he made, Scarlett asked Doris to cut it and distribute it. Doris takes a tray of Scarlett's cake into the living room to give it to Elizya and Felix.
