The Transmigration Antagonist

The Transmigration Antagonist
Chapter 36: Attention?

"Sucks," said Alden. Scarlett just silently observed the two men in front of her. They look very close.

Alden picks up his cell phone and calls the restaurant where Frank usually eats with his parents.

"I don't have a job anymore. I go first" said Alden leaving quickly. I hope her boyfriend is still waiting for her.

"I hope your lover doesn't disconnect you after this" Frank concluded in a mocking tone.

"You'll feel it later. And at that time I will repay you," concluded Alden and then left.

Scarlett's eyes were focused on Alden's departure. It turns out that man already had a lover. Too bad. Scarlett turned her head and was aghast as she saw Frank looking at her with his cold expression.

"Sa. I said goodbye, sir," said Scarlett stammered with nervousness.

At one noon according to his schedule, Frank attended his meeting with the marketing division. In five minutes the meeting will begin. All the marketing division teams have not been present in the meeting room.

"Let's hurry. We can be fired if it's a minute late. No one has escaped the boss if it breaks the rules" said a man to 4 friends running towards the meeting room. They run past Scarlett who just came back from Frank's room to retrieve Frank's laptop and cell phone.

"Hey, hurry up." said the man to his friend who was still walking in the back.

"Jeez. sorry, sorry," said the woman who accidentally hit Scarlett's shoulder. They don't know Scarlett yet because she's new.

Scarlett was pensively pensive in front of the meeting room door. I don't know what's inside his head.

"Why are you just standing there. The meeting is about to begin" said Frank coldly disperse Scarlett's daydream. All the members of the marketing team stared at Scarlett who was standing at the door. They wondered who the woman standing at the door was. Except for the Division chief who already knew him. Because one day ago, the man drove his report file into Scarlett's room.

Working as a marketing staff is not easy. They are required to reach the target set every month. Create a new strategy if the old strategy is not going well and promising.

"How can your performance decline? don't you want to work for this company anymore? I've given it a week to fix it" Frank said in a high note. Shut up, no one dared to answer. This is the mistake of those who are less productive at work. If you want to resign voluntarily, of course, no one wants to, the salary they receive is very high when compared to other companies, especially when the achievement of each month reached their salaries even exceed expectations to make all tired pay off.

"Sales target is falling. The goods produced are not worth the sale" Frank said coldly.

Amidst the gloomy and gripping atmosphere, Scarlett accidentally dropped her pen on the floor. The sound of the falling pen seemed to break the tension in the room. All eyes were on Scarlett.

"Ma.sorry," Scarlett's great-grandson. He dared not look at Frank's angry face. Scarlett who only served as a notary was afraid to look at him.

"Use another pen" Frank timps coldly as Scarlett bends down the table to get her pen. Scarlett then nodded. Although the man's words sounded cold, he was actually paying attention to Scarlett. Frank doesn't want the woman's head to hit the table, as it did two days ago.

"We'll fix it sir. We will go straight to the market, pay attention to the needs of the community, and then start strategizing a new approach, sir" said the division's head.

"I'll give you one more week. Next week I don't want any bad news" Frank said, staring at the head of the marketing division.

"I promise you, sir."

"We meet on the same day next week, good afternoon," Frank gets up from his chair, picks up his laptop and leaves the meeting room after him with Scarlett following him from behind.

"This time we escaped," said the division head relieved.

"We have to work hard again" he continued. His team members then nodded.
