The Transmigration Antagonist

The Transmigration Antagonist
Chapter 41: Sudden Affairs

The weekend passed so quickly. I don't know why it feels so lazy to meet Monday. The day everyone starts their busy activities. As of now, Scarlett was reluctant to get out of her bed. If the alarm had not sounded, he might have continued his sleep.

With a lazy step, Scarlett walked inside her bathroom.

"Geez, can't every weekend, '" muttered Scarlett staring at her disheveled face in the glass of the sink. Wash your face with toner before washing it off. After this he had to prepare his own breakfast. If she chooses, Scarlett would rather stay with her parents. There was a waiter who prepared the food. It's not like you can't order food from the outside. It's just that Scarlett is the type of person who likes to eat home-cooked meals.

Scarlett was enjoying her breakfast at her kitchen table. Breakfast this morning with a glass of milk and cereal. His activity was interrupted when his phone rang. Scarlett took her phone. His eyes were round when he saw the name on his phone screen. Frank contacted.

"Hello.." said Scarlett.

"Scarlett, today I did not come to the office because there was a sudden affair. Please step back and reorganize all my schedules today" Frank said.

"All right, sir" replied Scarlett.

"What's the sudden business, sir?" ask Scarlett. Frank was silent for a moment not to reply to Scarlett's words. Scarlett suddenly woke up. He should have ended his call. Not even asking too far.

"Ah, forgive me sir. I don't mean un__"

"Grandfather's health condition is deteriorating. We have to get him to the hospital now" Frank said, cutting off Scarlett's conversation. Scarlet caught the sad and worried tone of the man.

"I'm sorry to hear that Sir, may your grandfather recover soon" Scarlett said sympathetically.

"Thanks" Frank replied. "Then I turn it off, then" continued Frank and the call ended.

"How's doctor?" ask Peter Frank's father. The man was very worried about the condition of his father who was lying weakly on top of the gurney.

"Mister Fictor's condition will soon recover. He was just exhausted. Mr. Fictor may be doing some strenuous activity these days" the doctor said, giving them relief. The doctor then nodded.

"He always worries us. I warned her yesterday not to ride her horse anymore" said Freya, an eighty-year-old woman rising from the sofa with her angry, upset face. Her husband worries her.

"Darling, I'm sorry" Fictor said, feeling guilty for worrying his wife. Fictor extended his hand for his wife to get closer to him.

"This time it's not Fictor" Freya replied firmly to her husband.

"It looks like I'm going to move the horses out of your house" Frank said, not wanting his grandfather to ride them again.

"What the fuck are you Frank. What if grandpa got bored?"

"That's why you get married and give us a great-grandchild so we don't get bored" Fictor continued. Frank breathed a rough sigh. His family always asked him to marry. Frank hasn't found the right woman.

"Grandpa already has a great-grandson from your other grandchildren. Don't make it an excuse to provoke me," Frank said, making Fictor exhale violently. This one's granddaughter is as stubborn as her father.

"Both of your parents don't want to force you. But deep in their hearts, her son soon married. Moreover, you are their only child" said Fictor.

"Dad, don't talk about it now" said Dealova, Fictor's son-in-law. The woman did not want to impose their will on Frank. Since Frank was little, the boy had to follow all the rules and wishes of his parents because Frank would be the successor to the Carrington company.
