"Oh, thank you for helping me. Next time I will reply to her," Scarlett said without looking at them.
"I've even hated that woman just by looking at her innocent and playful face" muttered Gilda.
"And let's not forget, if the woman sold her sad story to her father to make Scarlett die at the hands of Elizya's father," Gilda said.
Wilson and his wife were already in the dining room for breakfast. Mia, Scarlett's stepmother immediately serves food on her husband's plate. She then poured her husband's favorite tea. She always served her husband like this every time they ate.
"Thank you dear." said Wilson staring at his loving wife.
Scarlett with her grim face joined at the dinner table in the aftercare by Felix and Elizya. All three
"Morning mom. dad.." Elizya said to Mia.
"Morning dear." Mia smiled back at her daughter and sat down next to her husband.
"Ck. harmonious once.." muttered Gilda quietly. And that only happens to them. The novel says Scarlett isn't too close to Mia, her stepmother. Scarlett never called her mother. Scarlett always calls out her name. And Gilda also had no intention of approaching the woman.
"When are you back?" ask Wilson.
"Last night uncle" Felix replied. Wilson nodded.
Scarlett enjoyed her breakfast quietly. Ignoring those at the dinner table. For a moment his gaze met Felix's eyes which were also staring at him. Actually Scarlett already knew that the man had been stealing glances at her.
"Huh.you think I'll be like Scarlett who will always seek attention from you at the dinner table by teasing you," Gilda said. He admitted that Felix was handsome. But sorry, Gilda won't be lured to him.
Scarlett finished her meal then got up from her chair.
"I'm done. I go upstairs first," Scarlett was silent for a moment. "Dad.." continued Scarlett spontaneously made Wilson stop his hand that was scooping his food. He saw his daughter smiling at him before leaving. Wilson furrowed his brows. What happened to his daughter. Usually, he would just leave after eating.
In her room Scarlett chose to sit on the balcony of her room enjoying the morning sun. He remembered his parents and cried.
"Hello.." said Scarlett.
"Hey. said you fell down the stairs. Why didn't we tell me. You think of me as Hah." said Penelope Scarlett's best friend angrily.
"Are you still there" Penelope said strongly to make Scarlett keep her phone away from her ear. It's not that Scarlett doesn't want to answer, but she's in Gilda's mode recalling the novel she read.
"You made my ears hurt with that crumb sound of yours" Scarlett said.
"Who told you to just be quiet" Penelope replied.
"Sorry not to tell you. Actually, I wanted to call you. But you called me first, instead" Scarlett chuckled.
"just reason. Next time you should tell me. Otherwise our friendship will end" Penelope said.
"Yes. yeah, that's a hell of a deal."
"Actually I want to talk to you today. But tomorrow," said Penelope.
"What if now?" ask Scarlett.
"I'm at grandpa's. There's a family event. I should have brought you here. My cousins are handsome. Even more handsome than that Felix" Penelope replied.
"Although I'm sure that you won't glance at them. Because in your heart there's only Felix in that coward" Penelope said.
"Geez, I talk a lot. We should talk about this tomorrow. You know, I.." said Penelope.
"I close first, mom calls me. Later I'll send a picture of my cousin," Penelope said, turning off her phone.
"It turns out Scarlett has a dime too," Inner Gilda laughed softly.
