Chapter 74: Stop Seeking Attention

Scarlett walked into the office, some employees were talking about it. Rumors about Scarlett having a special relationship with Frank seem to have spread. But only to a few employees.

As of now, Scarlett was in the employee elevator with three other employees. Scarlett does not know all the employees in the company, just a few people.

"He must have teased our boss,"

"Emma said so," the other employee replied in a whisper.

Scarlett started to not stand the words of the three women. He ignored her, thinking he didn't hear her.

"What did you say?" scarlett asked them, staring intently at the three women.

"Nothing is what we say." replied the red-haired woman with the thick makeup.

"Ck. y'all don't think I heard it," Scarlett said staring nigh at them.

The elevator doors opened and 4 employees went inside. Scarlett finally chose silence because she did not want to cause a commotion there. At least he remembered the names of the three women. He'll make the three women a deterrent.

Upon arrival at her study, Scarlett turns on her laptop and begins working on Frank's schedule.

Shortly thereafter Emma enters Scarlett's room carrying her files. As usual, he showed Scarlett an unhappy face.

"What's your relationship with Mr Frank?" asked Emma to put the file roughly on the table.

"This time I'm telling you because you're spreading bad things about me. The second time I will act decisively. I can easily get you out of here," Scarlett said firmly carrying the files on the table out.

"Ck. What right do you have to say that. You're not the owner of this company" Emma clenched her hand. Scarlett stopped her steps, twisting her body.

"You sure. Do you want to know what my relationship with Frank is like?" scarlett put on a mocking smile at Emma.

"Ah, without me telling you maybe you know too." said Scarlett.

"So take care of your attitude. Don't expect too high. Frank doesn't like you. Stop looking for her" Scarlett said, leaving Emma to hold back her anger.

Scarlett walked into Frank's room with the file in his hand. He went into Frank's room. There was Alden talking to Frank.

"Frank.This time I can't replace you attending that charity event. I had dinner with my lover's parents. You just look for another one to replace you," Alden said after giving an invitation card to Frank. 3 this year, Alden did replace him. But this time he couldn't.

"I'm coming" said Frank glancing at Scarlett who was walking over to him.

"Go away. I'm busy" said Frank.

"Say you want to be alone with her" Alden said, mocking Frank. He got up from his chair and left.

"Honey.. Where's my coffee?" ask Frank.

"Isn't it still 9 o'clock less sir" replied Scarlett.

"Hmm. but I want to have coffee" said Frank with his lesion.

"Then wait a minute, I'll make it," said Scarlett about to leave but Frank pulled Scarlett's hand to make her fall on Frank's lap.

"The coffee's not so, just give me a kiss." said Frank snatching Scarlett's lips quickly.
