"Gosh, Alden didn't say the address," Scarlett murmured, stopping her from collecting the documents on Frank's desk. Scarlet took his cell phone and called Alden's number.
"Alden. I forgot to ask Mr. Frank's address" Scarlett said.
"I thought you knew. All right, I'll send you the address" Alden replied.
"Thanks," Scarlett replied ending her call.
Shortly thereafter Alden sent a message to her. Scarlett took all the documents on Frank's desk before leaving the room.
Scarlett arrives at the apartment building where Frank lives and thinks about her car. The building is one of Carrington Company's properties. Located in the middle of the city with beautiful views and tight security. The apartment building has 60 floors and 5 penthouse blocks on the top last floor. Scarlett walked into the lobby and met the receptionist.
Scarlett got into the elevator and pressed the number 60 button. Scarlett leaned her back against the elevator wall. His pair of eyeballs kept seeing the change in numbers above the elevator door with the end of his shoes that he was shaking.
Ting
Elevator door opens. Scarlett stepped out of the elevator. He turned right and stopped at Frank's penthouse door.
Scarlett took a deep breath before she pressed the bell in front of her.
Scarlett was about to press back the bell in front of her but the door was already open.
"Why are you lam__" Frank said, not continuing his words when he saw who was standing at his door. Frank looked at his secretary from head to toe. The more days, it felt like her secretary was getting prettier. Today Scarlett wears a white blouse and leather sponge skirt with a skirt cut in the middle.
"Come in. " said Frank sounding limp walking towards the sofa. Scarlett followed him from behind with a look of amazement at Frank's glass-walled two-story luxury penthouse.
"Miss Balamy, will you just stand. Come sit down, please" said Frank leaning his body that feels pain on the sofa.
"Thank you sir, but I have to get back to the office. My work is not done yet" Scarlett said, not wanting to linger there.
"really? what if I told you to work from here alone," said Frank, staring at Scarlett, who rounded his eyes. Frank doesn't want to say much because his body hurts. But how else, he wanted Scarlett to stay in his penthouse.
"But sir I can't work here. My laptop is in the office" Scarlett said.
"Check back the files you brought. There are some that are not finished. You don't seem to be very thorough in examining it" Frank said, not lying. He did find several times reports from every division Scarlett gave him was still a mess.
"I'll take her back to the office then" Scarlett said, leaving Frank in a deep-seated manner with Scarlett's stubbornness. They seem to have the same nature.
"Give me my food, I'm so hungry" Frank said. His stomach was rumbling. His body was sweating. He hasn't had breakfast since and now it's almost 10.
"Ah yes, this is sir" said Scarlett almost forgot to give Frank breakfast.
Frank opened the food box limp and the food was cold. He could no longer walk into his kitchen just to heat his food.
"Scarlett, can you help me to reheat this food. I could no longer walk into the kitchen. My body is very weak" said Frank with sweat that had been pouring on his forehead. Seeing Frank's increasingly pale face, Scarlett pityed the man. He quickly picked up the food box on the table and brought it to the kitchen. Scarlett's heating it in the microwave.
