Chapter 15: Not Believing

"Miss, Mister. please enjoy. Miss Scarlett made it herself" Doris said. Felix was surprised to hear that. For him it was impossible for a Scarlett to make cake let alone touch the kitchen. Meanwhile, Elizya was afraid that Scarlett would mix something in there. Realizing Elizya Felix's fear then spoke.

"Doris.. Are you sure Scarlett didn't put anything in there?" ask Felix.

"I'm sure he deliberately made it himself to have Elizya eat it on the grounds Scarlett had already taken the trouble to make it. Or at pretending not to know as usual and reversing the facts,"

"I don't believe it anymore" Felix said.

"Just let Doris. I don't want them to try it anyway. I've gone crazy poisoning everyone here including myself. Just give it to the other worker" said Scarlett, who had just come out of the kitchen and heard Felix's words. Scarlett doesn't blame him, because she knows that Elizya has been poisoned by food for Scarlett. And it is only natural that they do not believe.

Scarlett then went to take the cake in her hand to the garden next to her house. He wants to enjoy the afternoon air with a cup of tea and cake made.

"Mr Felix, this time Miss Scarlett isn't lying. I helped her make this cake. Miss made it because she was bored at home, there was no activity she did" Doris said.

"I just don't believe it" Felix said.

"Well then I'll bring him back" Doris said.

"Doris, let it go. I'll try it" Elizya said. Doris nodded and left.

"Elizya.. You're too good to believe in Scarlett," Felix said he did not like his girlfriend who had been repeatedly hurt by Scarlett.

"I believe in my brother Felix" Elizya said.

"Darling.you always say that. You even easily forgave Scarlett for the mistake she made on you. While Scarlett always hurts you," Felix replied.

"Scarlett is like that too because of my presence with my mother here Felix. I know how he feels. He felt that his father had taken us when he had not long lost his mother. But it's not like that. Mommy and I loved him" Elizya said in tears. Felix who could not bear to see his lover was immediately hugging him.

"Have it. Don't beat yourself up" said Felix, wiping his girlfriend's coconut.

"Ahhh..." said Scarlett sipping her warm tea. He was sitting in a lounge chair next to his house. Scarlett opened her phone and saw a message from Penelope. The woman didn't lie about sending her cousin a picture.

"But still more handsome Frank." said Scarlett unknowingly. Understandably, he has not been able to move on from the man even though he is cheated. No one really knows the real story except Frank. And Gilda was already dead before knowing the real facts.

"There's one more person I didn't photograph. He's very difficult to photograph. You know, he's been over-privileged. Even when family photos are rarely taken. On my phone there are only old photos of him when he was ugly. Sucks😏..."

"If it's bad don't send it to ku😂,"

"Unfortunately all the descendants of Carrington are handsome and beautiful. That's absolute truth."

"You guys are too confident😒"

"And that's true😬"

⁇ ️ Penelope

"I want you to be the lover of one of my cousins. Unfortunately, they are married and have lovers. Except one more. My cousin who didn't have a picture of him."

"I'm not interested in him."

Scarlett's attention was turned to the lovers who were hugging there. Felix seems to be coming home. Again, their eyes met accidentally. Scarlett ignored him by replying to a message from her friend.
