Scarlett carried the clothes she had chosen, approaching Frank who was sitting on the sofa provided in the boutique. "Sir, I didn't bring my wallet. Can I borrow your money" Scarlett said slowly. His phone was also left in his room. And the only way is to borrow his boss's money.
Frank nodded his head. "Go to the locker room, we're almost too late" Frank said. Even without Scarlett saying, she would have paid for it willingly.
"Well sir, thank you" Scarlett said, going to the dressing room.
After Scarlett changed her clothes. Frank and Scarlett get back in the car. Scarlett chose a dress below the knee combined with a black blazer.
The driver takes them to the restaurant where Frank and his client meet.
Upon arrival in front of the restaurant, Frank asks his driver to pick them up in 1 hour. Frank then invites Scarlett into a fancy restaurant that is only visited by elite people. Scarlett was no longer surprised when she went inside. He had been there several times before with his family and also with Penelope.
"Oh good afternoon Mr. Carrington. I'm Felix Alexander. I took my father's place to meet you" Felix stood out to dive Frank. Felix glanced at Scarlett who seemed to be surprised to see him.
"Call Frank alone" said Frank to Felix's hand.
"Please sit down Frank" Felix said.
"Scarlett, it just so happens that we meet here" Felix said, staring at Scarlett. The woman simply nodded then sat down in her chair. Scarlett doesn't expect to see Felix again. But now they were found by accident. Scarlett doesn't know if it turns out that Felix's family company will cooperate with Carrington's company.
The waiter approached them and gave them a menu. The three men then ordered their own food.
Scarlett turned on Frank's iPad to record the important things her boss discussed during the meeting.
"Your secretary is a professional Frank" Felix praised Scarlett.
"Thank you" Scarlett replied.
"I don't know if Scarlett, who happens to be my sister-in-law, is actually working at your company Frank" Felix said. Although he actually knew that Scarlett worked at Frank's company. Scarlett stared hard at Felix. He thinks Felix is too presumptuous.
"Now you know. There's no need to talk about it too long" Frank's flat chimpanzee made Felix round his eyes. The man in front of him was too flat and cold.
"I go to the toilet first" Scarlett got up from her chair and went to the toilet.
"Don't look at him like you want to have Felix. Is not his brother your lover. Do you now want to take the brother of your lover too" Frank flatly stared at Felix.
"What do you mean, Frank? you know nothing about us" Felix replied no less coldly.
"Don't tell me you're interested in him" Felix said with a smile. Felix believes Frank likes Scarlett.
On the sidelines of their conversation, the waitress came with their order and arranged it on the table.
"I'm just warning you Felix. Do not let you regret it," said Frank after the departure of the waiter. Simultaneously, Scarlett returned from the bathroom. Frank and Felix stopped their discussion. But the two stares at each other. As if fighting in taste. Scarlett realized there was something strange about the two men's gazes. But he did not care about the problems of the two men.
