CHAPTER 57 Rachel Loves him, Dad

Earlier during the day, Boy, Calvin's friend and the police officer watching Franz and Damon, gives Calvin a shocking news about Franz escaping from prison. Calvin was certainly very surprised and somehow, the name that first came to his mind upon hearing the news was Rachel. He's worried that Franz will see Rachel and hurt her.

Fortunately, Calvin had kept Rachel's number at that time. Otherwise, Rachel would not have given Calvin her number.

"Hello?" rachel said across the phone.

"Hello, where's Rachel?" ask Calvin.

"Calvin, where did you get my number?" Calvin furrowed his brows, instead of answering his question, Rachel asked back.

"Did you forget? That afternoon you lent me your cell phone to call my phone that fell in the car" Calvin replied.

Rachel was silent across the phone.

"Rachel? You haven't answered my question,"

"Oh yeah, I'm in your town, my foster parents are gonna celebrate their anniversary tonight," hearing that Calvin's getting shocked.

"God, why is it so coincidental," Calvin's inner voice rubbed his face rough.

"Can I come?" he asked, Calvin intended to take care of him.

"Come if you want to be kicked by my father and my papa, oh yeah don't call me anymore unless it's our cooperation, I don't want to be close to you as long as there's no green light from my father," rachel said and immediately ended her call unilaterally, while Calvin grimaced to hear Rachel's words.

"Why it's turned off, my God, this girl is so stiff, I just wanted to tell her that Franz ran away, and she has to be careful" Calvin murmured.

Not wanting to stay silent, Calvin immediately contacted Dicky, his secretary and friend.

"Hello, Dicky,"

"..."

"Find out where the COO's home address is from Edward Group" Calvin ordered. Calvin clearly knew about the Edward group and who was the leader, shortly after Rachel's departure to America, Calvin had found out all about the Edward Group, and he knows that the CEO is Rachel and the COO is Rachel's adoptive father, the man he saw during Franz and Damon's arrest.

Moments later, the address of Robert's home that Calvin had requested had been obtained from Dicky, without waiting any longer, Calvin immediately took his jacket and the key to his motorcycle.

And this is where Calvin now right before the party began, Calvin monitored from a distance the house began to be crowded with guests.

"Rachel," she murmured as she watched the girl she knew so much walk out of the house in such a graceful black dress. Without realizing it, a smile fell on his lips. However, Calvin suddenly furrowed his brows when he saw Rachel going around like he was looking for someone.

A few minutes later she saw Rachel had changed into her clothes and was riding in the car with her parents and a man, they even left in a hurry and left the guest still there with secretary Robert.

"Where are they going?" calvin said and immediately followed Rachel's car.

He continued to follow from afar, until they arrived at a deserted road near a Villa. Calvin can see Rachel getting out of the car herself and into the Villa.

"What did Rachel do?" calvin's monologue got off his bike and tried to get closer, but soon after, the two hostesses Rachel along with a man she knew named Morgan got out of the car in a hurry and immediately ran into the villa, Calvin who saw it also immediately ran after them.

And this is where she is now, apparently Franz is here and is holding Edward, which is why Rachel went in first alone.

"I'm with you too" said Calvin, following Robert and Nola's words, leading everyone including Edward to turn his head.

"Calvin?" shimmies Rachel,

"That kid? Isn't he Darold's son?" inner Edward.

The fight begins, all who come to help Rachel at this time show their martial skills, including Robert and Nola, even though they are not young anymore, but in martial skills, they can't be doubted anymore.

In the midst of busy fighting, Franz took the opportunity to point his gun at Rachel who was still busy fighting.

"Stop Franz!" shouted Edward.

The sound of gunfire that so echoed shocked everyone and immediately looked towards Rachel.

Rachel who was so surprised had closed her eyes, but she realized that she was currently in a state of good. Slowly he opened his eyes and immediately his eyes widened when in front of him there was already a man who made his body as a shield to protect Rachel.

"Calvin," she softly cried as she looked at the handsome face that now looked pale and the mouth that had let out dar*h before her.

A sweet smile was etched on her face before she collapsed in Rachel's arms.

"No!! Calvin!" rachel cried out in panic.

Meanwhile, Morgan who saw Franz was stunned to see the scene in front of him directly attack Franz and lock his body until he was helpless.

Edward, too, did not believe what he saw before him.

Shortly after, police and ambulances arrived at the scene after Nola contacted him. Franz and his men were paralysed, and Calvin was rushed to the hospital.

Edward and the others got into their car.

"Where's Rachel?" ask Edward.

"He accompanied the man to the hospital" Nola replied.

"Do you know that guy?" ask Edward again.

"I forgot her name, sir, but as I recall, she helped Rachel defeat Franz and capture Damon" Morgan replied.

"What's? How come?" edward was confused.

"What's up, sir?" ask Robert.

"There's nothing" Edward said, "Morgan, we're going to the hospital now, follow the ambulance," Edward ordered, and now their car is driving towards the hospital.

In the hospital

"Calvin, please hold on" said Rachel, running after Calvin, who had been placed in the cage and pushed quickly into the operating room.

Now he sat in front of the operating room with mixed feelings of worry and fear. Her tears flowed back down her cheeks.

"Rachel," called Edward as he walked towards him, and Robert and Nola went home to attend the party he had left.

"Dad?" lirih Rachel immediately stood up to welcome Edward's arrival.

"Why are you here? Go home now, let Morgan wait here," said Edward pulled Rachel's hand.

"No dad, Rachel wants to stay" Rachel refused.

"You don't have to feel guilty, it's not your fault, so you don't have to wait until it's like this" Edward said.

"Dad, Rachel, this is not because of guilt" said Rachel.

"So because of what?" Edward furrowed his brows.

Rachel gave a quick glance at Morgan, she then exhaled a rough breath. "Sorry dad, Rachel's like this because Rachel loves her, she's what Rachel meant when Rachel told me about Rachel's loved ones" Rachel replied.

"What?" edward screeched in disbelief, while Morgan immediately lowered his head in lethargy, his heart breaking at once. Apparently the girl he had always loved had loved someone else.
