CHAPTER 47 Sorry

After Franz was successfully tied up, the other Red Sword members immediately charged towards the Black Wolf members. Now the fight between the two mafia groups can not be avoided anymore, but because many Black Wolf members have been uprooted previously by Rachel, Calvin and Rena, respectively, so that the current number of Red Sword members is more. The light of Rena made Calvin immediately look down lethargic when he heard the name of his father called, Rachel who saw Calvin could only breathe rough.

"Then, all this time why did you run me down? And your attitude toward me seemed to hate me so much" asked Rachel again.

"Kidnap me?" Rachel seemed to be remembering something. "Ah, did you tell those 4 people to kidnap me?" rachel was in disbelief.

"L-yes, I'm sorry, I just started to get suspicious of you, so I tried to lure you in to see how you reacted, but honestly I just wanted to kidnap, no other evil intentions," bright Rena with her clenched hands in front of her chest.

Rachel paused for a moment, several times she took a breath and exhaled, trying to calm herself down. "You know, I really wanted to put you in jail, but considering you've helped me, and our mission is the same, then I forgive you" Rachel said.

"Thank you, yeah" said Rena, who felt grateful. "Oh, very soon the police will come here to arrest them, even now the headquarters they use to store drugs has been surrounded by police" Rena continued.

"Good then," said Rachel who occasionally glanced at Calvin who was currently thinking about something.

Shortly after, several police cars began arriving and arresting all the Black Wolf members who had been bound, including Franz.

"Miss, I just received a phone call from Damon calling Franz's number, he said he was waiting for Franz at a dock to leave the country" Morgan reported.

"What?" cry Rena and Rachel together.

"Rachel, do you want to come with me to catch Damon Arthur?" ask Rena.

"Of course," Rachel replied, but when she realized something, "wait for Ren, my parents," she turned to the bushes where Robert and Nola were hiding.

"Your parents?" ask Rena and Calvin at the same time.

"My adoptive parents, they raised me in the village" Rachel explained. "Rena, first off, I'm afraid you'll lose Damon again if it's too late, I have to check on my parents first" Rachel continued.

"Alright, I go first" said Rena then left.

While Calvin who saw Rachel had trouble packing the bodies of Robert and Nola who looked weak immediately helped Rachel.

"Let me help you" said Calvin, then Robert, and Rachel took Nola.

They walked together without a word. Until they arrived at his car that Morgan had brought.

"Morgan, I'll take my parents first, please take them to the hospital, I'll catch up with Damon first" Rachel said.

"I'm coming with you, lady" Morgan said, glancing at Calvin, making him look at him with a hard-to-understand look.

"No need, please take care of my parents first, besides I'm not alone, there's Rena waiting for me," Rachel replied.

"Well ladies, then put this car on, I'll use another car" Morgan replied.

"Go with me Rachel, I'm on the bike, my bike is pretty fast so we can get there faster" Calvin bargained, making Rachel think for a moment, while Morgan looked back at her in surprise.

"We don't have much time for Rachel" said Calvin, reminding Rachel who is still thinking.

"Alright," replied Rachel at last.

Calvin's motor speeding through the darkness of a silent and cold night. The more silent with the silence of two humans who in their hearts are adrift by love but choose to keep it because of guilt.

"I'm sorry" said Calvin, who opened the conversation after nearly 20 minutes of silence.

"For what?"

"For my daddy, that caused your parents to die."

Rachel was silent for a moment. "I'm sorry, too,"

"For what?" It was Calvin's turn to ask.

"For my dishonesty with you from the beginning,"

"I see, maybe if I were in your position, I'd do the same."

Rachel fell silent again, "do you hate me now for exposing your daddy's crime and getting him caught?" great-granddaughter Rachel then.

"I don't know, but do I look like I hate you right now?" Calvin asked back.

"No, you look exactly the opposite,"

"What do you mean?"

"From the way you protected me back then when Franz wanted to shoot me, and now you're willing to give me your jacket, when obviously you're cold right now, that's enough to prove that there's a love you're showing me,"

Calvin is silent, he justifies what Rachel said, but he also cannot deny the disappointment and fear of disappointing his father if he still persists with his feelings.
