Chapter 30 Invite a Lawyer

This morning, William was really made dizzy with the news that suddenly appeared and shocked the public. After the news broke, William's phone never stopped ringing.

Darold's business associates called him in turn, not to mention other news reporters who wanted to know the truth of the news firsthand.

William's countenance grew increasingly worried after talking to Leni. Not wanting to wait long, William immediately stepped out of his study to meet Darold who was also currently in his room.

"Good morning sir" said William, bowing politely.

"How's the news this morning Will, have you handled it?" ask Darold who is currently checking the file for signature.

"Sorry sir, I have contacted the owner of the news site, but he said, they never posted the news on his online news site, there was a possibility of their news site being hacked. They also couldn't delete the news because the system would have an error when they tried to delete it" William explained, and it managed to get Darold to stop his current job.

"Call Gery's lawyer to resolve the matter immediately!" Darold's orders.

"I've contacted him sir, but there's something you should know right now sir."

Darold frowned, "say, Wil!" exclaim Darold.

"I just got a report from Leni, that just this morning, there was a young woman coming to see Thomas,"

"Did Leni know his name? how's character?" sela Darold is curious.

"Unfortunately the woman didn't tell me her name was sir, but Leni said she had a tall body, white skin, long brown hair, wore a navy blue suit, and wore sunglasses" William said.

"Call Fino here right now, Wil, I want to see him live on CCTV!" Darold's orders.

Not long ago, Fino was now in Darold's room. By Darold, Fino is ordered to hack the CCTV that is in Dex's law firm, Darold wants to see the woman in person. But unfortunately, on CCTV there is no trace of women with the characteristics as mentioned by William.

"Why is it like that?" darold was confused.

"According to our suspicions the other day, sir, this guy is the same person who sent an email to your police partner, he was very good at using computers and hacking. And CCTV at the Dex law firm seems to have been hacked and manipulated, so that its existence there was not caught by CCTV cameras" said Fino.

"Ck, who exactly is this person, if she's a woman, it's very likely that she's Rachelia Edward" Darold murmured while twitching his temple.

Silent for a moment, the three people in the room dissolved in each other's minds.

"William?" Darold is back to voice.

"Yes, sir" replied William firmly.

"Invite Thomas' lawyer to our secret place, it seems we need to negotiate with him," Darold ordered, grinning cunningly.

"Okay sir" replied William who understood Darold's intentions by inviting.

Calvin is completely unaware of the problems his father is currently facing, as Calvin himself is on his way to the place where Michel wrote. Calvin didn't want to wait long, he really wanted to know what happened to his mother.

Before leaving, Calvin had asked Darold for permission that for now he wanted to stay at the hotel because he wanted to focus on completing his final tasks, but he left last night while Darold was sleeping, so Darold didn't know what Calvin was taking that night.

Because Calvin had never seen his mother, he brought a middle-aged woman who was a long-time domestic assistant at the Darold mansion, he had certainly seen each other with his mother. He also brought with him two trusted bodyguards who had been in charge of guarding his home.
