CHAPTER 53 Finding a Friend

The sky is now starting to darken, featuring a stretch of stars in the sky that increasingly glittered like beautiful diamonds, spoiling the gray eye beads of a girl who was sitting alone in the roof top of her house.

"Geez, did you surprise me?" Rachel turned to face Edward who was currently walking towards her.

"When I speak only slowly, what are you thinking until you are surprised like that?" ask Edward.

Rachel scratched her non-itchy head, she was at a loss to answer what this time.

"Emm, dad, I have a story, do you want to hear?" rachel asked after thinking for a moment.

"Tell me dear, I'm ready to hear it" Edward replied, making Rachel smile.

"Look, I have a friend, and my friend accidentally met a man because of an affair. As time went on, the seeds of love began to grow between the two, but it turned out that the parents of the man were enemies of my friend's parents. So they had to stay away from each other, but the farther away, my friend was getting tormented. If you were in the position of my friend's parents, what would you do?"

Calvin and Rossa were still faithfully waiting in front of the operating room. It's been more than 5 hours Darold was in that operating room.

Suddenly a nurse wearing an oka shirt with a headgear and a mask came out with a little run. Calvin just looked at her question mark, before long, the nurse returned with a blood bag. Anxiety and worry again disturbs Calvin.

"Mom, what's going on? Why are they taking extra blood?" ask Calvin.

"Calm down baby, we pray that your daddy is okay" Rossa said, rubbing Calvin's back gently.

An hour later, the doctor who performed the surgery on Darold came out. Calvin, who had been waiting, came straight to the doctor.

"Doctor, how's the operation going?" ask Calvin.

"I'm sorry, we've tried our best, but the patient can't be saved because the bleeding is severe enough" the doctor replied, instantly making both Calvin's legs feel weak. His body slid to the floor with a blank look.

"Calvin" said Rossa immediately embraced Calvin's body. The body that was initially calm, gradually felt vibrating with the sound of a little sobbing that was held back from Calvin's mouth.

"Just let out your voice, dear, don't hold it" said Rossa, making Calvin's crying sound start to come out and echo in front of the operating room.

Wh why? Is it wrong for Calvin to cry? calvin would be even more wrong if he held back his tears, because it would only make his heart become fragile.

Losing the figure of a father who loved him so much since childhood really hit Calvin up to a few weeks.

"Calvin, are you going to keep busy with your business?" rossa asked as they were having breakfast together.

"What does mommy mean?"

"Didn't it be that when your daddy was in surgery you said that your daddy sent you a message to look for Rachel, why haven't you tried to find her until now?"

Calvin immediately looked down lethargic as he recalled his late father's message one last time.

"It looks like Rachel has a mommy boyfriend, Calvin doesn't want to interrupt her relationship this time, '" Calvin said.

"Last year I went to Shally's wedding, Rachel also came to Shally's show, and she came with her boyfriend" Calvin said.

"Then, look for another woman, now that you're 25, old enough to get married, or you want mommy to find her for you?" hatch Rossa.

Now Calvin arrives at his office which is not too big, this is because Calvin's company is still a newly developed company.

"Good morning, Mr. Calvin" said Calvin's secretary Dicky.

"Again, what about the filing of our cooperation with some of the companies we've talked about that Dicky?" ask Calvin.

"We have received feedback from several companies, from 5 overseas companies that we submitted, there are 3 who received our offers" Dicky replied.

"Okey, what kind of company is that?"

"Vera Solution, C&Z company, and Barley company" Dicky said.

"Alright, arrange my meeting for the three companies" exclaimed Calvin.

"I have arranged it sir, for Vera solution, the schedule they have agreed to is next week, the others are still confirming" Dicky said.

"Well, the tirma of dicky love" said Calvin and began to work as usual.

"Oh yes, Mr. Calvin, I just received a phone call from Miss Rossa, if this afternoon, I have a blind date with a girl of the choice of the mistress," dicky added that Calvin immediately coughed as a result of choking on his own saliva because he was so surprised.

"What's? Blind date? That's right," Calvin cried in disbelief.

"Yes, said Nonya, the decision is absolute," Dicky said with a smile that left Calvin clapping.

During the day, according to the promise that Rossa has made, he will meet a girl, the son of a friend of Rossa while still in school. Armed with a photo sent by Rossa, Calvin enters and searches for the girl in question.

Several times he looked around looking for the girl, but he did not find it, so he felt someone pat him on the shoulder from behind and he turned around.

"Calvin yeah?" ask a girl who is similar to the photo on her phone.
