CHAPTER 29 The Will

The Darold Archer Mansion

New time shows at 06:00 am. William came in a hurry to deliver the news that was currently crowded in public conversation.

"For the master" said William as decently as possible.

"What brings you here so early this morning William?" asked Darold who was currently sitting in the backyard while reading the newspaper yesterday that he had not been able to read.

"Sorry sir, please take a look at this news." William handed the tablet to Darold.

Darold's eyes instantly rounded and his mouth opened upon seeing the news. But a few seconds later, his eyes turned sharp and his jaw hardened.

Apparently the news informs about the process of the acquisition of Edward's company by DA Group which was done fraudulently, edward's power of attorney, which he used as a way to take over Edward's shares, was false and not authorized by Edward. This is evidenced by the attachment of evidence of false power of attorney.

"William, call the owner of this news site if you need to go to him, and have him delete this news right now!" Darold orders with a breath that begins to hunt because of holding back anger.

"Okay sir" replied William.

"It seems like the person who yesterday bullied me and the person who spread this news was the same. And I'm sure she's Rachelia Edward. Let's see, until when he'll hide like that" Darold said, clenching his hand.

This morning, a beautiful woman in sunglasses, long unravel brown hair, in a light blue shirt suit and navy trousers and matching blazers, complete with her heels, walk gracefully into a fairly large law firm building.

"Excuse me ma'am, I want to see Mr. Thomas" the woman told reception.

"Have you made any promises before?"

"Then, please wait a minute I will contact him."

Shortly thereafter, the woman was welcomed straight into the room of Thomas, a well-known lawyer in the city.

"Get in" said Thomas from inside his room.

"Excuse me, Mr. Thomas,"

"Yes, please sit down ma'am, can I help you?"

"I'd like to ask you to take care of the inheritance rights for me,"

"Please explain in detail ma'am, so that I can know from whom and for whom the shares of the mother are talking."

"Father must have seen the news this morning about the fraudulent acquisition of Edward Group's company, right? the transfer of Edward's shares to Darold as CEO of DA Group who claimed the Edward Group company was not legal, so I want you to take care of the transfer of legal Edward shares to me as his heir."

When left alone, Rachel uses the opportunity to install a voice eavesdropper under Thomas's desk, as well as a tracking device in Thomas's suit which is currently being hung. In any case, he had to make sure for himself that Thomas was indeed worthy of his trust.

Shortly thereafter, Thomas arrives with a chocolate map in his hand.

"This is Mr. Edward's will which he gave to me one month after the birth of the lady, saying I could open it only when she died, and give it to the lady." Thomas gives the chocolate map to Rachel.

Rachel took the map and opened it and read it, slowly frowning it "innocently?"

"True miss, this is a will and a power of attorney that says that all Edward's shares in the Edward Group will be bequeathed to Rachelia Edward as her only daughter."

"If this letter really exists, why would you let that person take over your stock fraudulently, this could be evidence?"

"I'm sorry miss, I can't do anything to uncover the truth, I'm under threat from Darold's side, even the whereabouts of this letter I'm hiding to keep him safe if one day the owner comes."

"What do you mean, father? do you know that I am still alive?"
