CHAPTER 39 The Lost Darold

A beautiful sunny morning, as beautiful as the beautiful face of a girl who was smiling herself while enjoying her morning breakfast with earphones that stick perfectly in her ears.

With the help of Morgan, Edward's right-hand man, he manages to set up a voice eavesdropper in Darold's home and workspace. Actually he wanted to intervene to help Morgan, but apparently Edward did not allow it.

Currently, Michel was listening to Darold and William's conversation in his home. In the conversation, Michel hears that tonight Darold will hold a secret meeting with the Black Wolf clan regarding his plans to capture Rachelia Edward.

"Well, before you catch me, I make sure you get caught first" he muttered with a grin and finished his sentence and rushed straight to his workplace, not to forget he wore his round glasses as a characteristic of a Michel.

After traveling for a few minutes, Michel has now arrived at the DA Group at exactly 07:30. He deliberately came early to avoid his meeting with Rena which would only make the mood in the morning become damaged.

With a casual step, he walked out of the car park, but in the middle of the road, his steps stopped because of the call of someone whose voice he was already familiar with.

"Michel.." call a man from behind.

Michel reflexively turned toward the source of the sound, "Calvin?" he looked at Calvin who was now walking towards him.

Not wanting to add to his inner torment by meeting Calvin, Michel was about to leave, but Calvin's sturdy hand managed to grab Michel's hand so he had to stop.

"Let go of my hand!" ketus Michel when he saw Calvin still holding tightly to his wrist.

"Sorry, can we talk to you for a second?" calvin asked softly as he took off Michel's hand.

"Speak now" replied Michel briefly.

Calvin let out a rude sigh, he was really uncomfortable with Michel's attitude towards him right now, "before I wanted to themed love to you, because of your help yesterday, I managed to meet my mother," he said later, while Michel was just unmoved, even though in his deepest heart he was also happy and grand.

"Michel, is there no chance for me to get close to you?" Calvin asked again with a sad face.

"I'm sorry, we better be like this, no need to be close" Michel replied.

"Please Michel, don't be like this, I'm really confused by this attitude of yours, I sincerely love you" Calvin said, making Michel's heart beat faster.

"I'm sorry Calvin" replied Michel about to leave, but his steps were again stopped by Calvin's question.

"But why? at least give me a reason why you want to stay away from me" Calvin said.

In a doldrums, Michel turned toward Calvin, "if you're curious about why I'm staying away from you, then wait for the answer tonight, you'll get the answer," michel answered and left Calvin, who looked at her with a sad look.

"What do you want to show me Michel? what are you keeping secret?" Inner Calvin left the place.

Eventually, Calvin's final goal is to find a company he believes belongs to his father, where Michel works. After waiting 30 minutes, he finally managed to meet Michel, but back disappointment he brought home.

Now the sun has slipped to the western horizon, leaving beautiful orange and blue colors in sight. Michel in black sat in his car which had been parked in front of the gate of the DA Group building.

Shortly after, Darold's car came out of the gate followed by a car that always escorted him.

"Target has come out" Michel told Morgan and his team through an earpiece.

Michel starts to drive his car following Darold's car and his bodyguard from a distance. Upon entering the deserted road, suddenly several red cars drove past Darold's car and immediately blocked his path.

Darold certainly did not get out of the car, because his guards were out of the car first to protect him. The fight between Morgan's team and Darold's bodyguards is now inevitable.

When he saw all his men who were fighting began to be overwhelmed, Darold immediately grabbed his cellphone was about to contact his other men, but suddenly his movement stopped when a girl in all black clothes, but suddenly his movement stopped, a mask and a black hat got into his car and sat right next to him.

"Who are you?" darold asked a little surprised, but the girl only flinched. Darold's hand began to creep about to take the gun he kept behind his jaz, but he had not had time to take it, he felt something stab in his neck.

He quickly turned around and pointed the gun he had managed to reach at the woman, but his consciousness slowly began to dissipate.

William and Darold's men have been waiting for Darold's arrival ever since. To date, there has been no sign of his arrival.

William tries to contact Darold's phone, but unfortunately, his phone is not active. William again tries to contact Darold's bodyguard, but the result is the same. It was as if Darold and all the men who escorted him were lost somewhere.

"Sir William, what happened to our boss?" tanya Marco who is a member of Black Wolf who has long been with Darold and William.

"I don't know, it looks like something happened to her. Not usually our boss is late to come if it has set a meeting time," replied William.

"Do we better look for him? It's been 1 hour from the time allotted for the meeting" Marco said.
