Eps. 9 Accidents

Niky heads out of town to the nearest town after Damara, where he now lives riding his white maserati.

After an hour of driving, he decided to stop. He pulled his car over near the signpost.

“Cempaka City..” murmured while reading a sign that read the name of the city where it stops now. He did not know the city at all because he had never been to it before.

“braak..”.

Niky opened his car door and went down just to straighten his back for a moment after an hour of sitting while looking around.

The city looks crowded where there are many hotels and also high building buildings. There are many supermarkets and various entertainment venues there.

“Maybe I'll get a job here.because here More crowded Than in the city of Damara.” inner smiling saw his many multi-storey buildings and also the crowd there.

Niky tried to walk into one of the buildings across the street through the crowd. Because before he always kept his appearance when his father's company was still standing, now even though his father's company no longer exists he still maintains his appearance and always makes his body smell fragrant.

“See the man who walked past us just now. He was my type once. He is tall, sexy and handsome. Even his skin looks cleaner than our skin.” said a girl who looked at Niky and pointed to him talking to his friend.

“Iya you are right.. Even the scent of the perfume is still smelled here even though she is far from us.” timpal other girls respond to her friend and then back to walk.

In the middle of the road Niky passed a couple who were about to cross the road.

“Wow..the guy was really cool..” Inner girl across the street who was staring at Niky and releasing her lover's hand. His eyes followed towards Niky walking. And unknowingly the couple saw her watching Niky.

“Truly you are yes. Could you have glanced at another man while you were still walking with me !” he said to his lover and immediately pulled him and accelerated his steps to get away from the man.

Meanwhile, Niky just saw from across the street two people who were fighting while stepping their feet towards one of the multi-story buildings.

Shortly after, Niky stopped at a tall building. He saw there was a guard post there and the road leading to it.

“Excuse me sir... are there any vacancies in this company ?” ask him to the old man who was guarding the post there.

“A few days ago the company was looking for a new employee for the supervisor position.” the man explained to Niky.

“It just so happens sir then. Can I submit my job application now ?” he said with a smile and then handed over the job application he had put in the map.

“Please... later I will convey it to the HRD.” section he replied while submitting his job application and left after saying thank you.

“Graduate from Sydney... ?!” the man muttered as he opened Niky's application out of curiosity and was surprised to read it at a glance and put it back in the envelope before the company staff saw it.

Niky then walked back to another company and left his job application there. After an hour of walking and spreading the proposal he felt sultry.

“I've finished sending my application to several companies here. And it looks like I have to break for a while.” his murmur stopped in the middle of the road and looked for a seller of fresh drinks as he felt his dry throat and his sweat begin to pour out.

He saw there was a minimarket not far from where it is now.

“I better get there as soon as it gets dark.” Inner Niky when I see the sun that has sunk. He immediately crossed and entered the minimarket.

“Please just this..” Niky said to the cashier after taking three cold soda drinks from the storefront and immediately paid for them after the cashier mentioned the nominal he had to pay.

“clang..” Niky opened one can and gulped it down. Still feeling thirsty, he opened the two remaining soda cans and gulped them down and threw them into the trash nearby.

“I have to go home now..” he said softly as he got up from his seat and walked towards the highway.

Niky crosses the street when the lights for pedestrians turn green. Before he got across the street suddenly there was a red car hurtling quickly towards him that ran through the red light.

The red car did not see if anyone had crossed and only found out that someone had crossed when the distance of the car with the person was one meter.

The driver of the car looked panicked and immediately stepped on the brakes.

“ckiiit... !”.

Despite stepping on the brakes as hard as possible, the red car still grazed Niky and made him collapse.

“Argh... !!” yelled Niky who tried to dodge the red car by backing off and crossing his hands over his face to protect his face from the impact of the car.

“bruk..” Niky immediately fell to the asphalt and was unconscious.

A long-haired woman in her thirties got out of the red car in a panic and approached Niky.

“Oh My God.. I was in a hurry to hit a man.” he said seeing Niky who did not wake up too even though he had patted her cheek and shook her body. His face was panicked and confused as to what to do.

“This man should be fine because there is absolutely no blood coming out of his body as well as no scratches on his body.” muttered while checking Niky's body looking for injuries due to the impact of his car.

“Better I put him in my car first.” he said again.

The woman tried to lift Niky's body but was not strong. Then he called a man who walked past him and asked for his help.

“Pak... sir.. Please help me lift this man up and put him in the car.” he said calling an unknown pedestrian who happened to pass him.

“Well miss..” replied the pedestrian stopped and lifted Niky's body and put it in the red car according to the instructions of the woman.

“Thank you sir..” said the woman on the walk who had helped her. He got into the car and yesterday drove his car down the street.

“Alright I'll take him to the hotel first. After my show is finished there I will take her to the hospital.” muttered the woman while staring at the glass looking at Niky who was still unconscious as well.

Moments later he arrived at a five-star hotel.

Because he had to attend an event that was about to start, he booked a room for Niky and asked the hotel attendant to bring Niky's body to the room he was booked in.

Meanwhile somewhere else. Fiona and Devan sit on the porch waiting for her brother to come home. Because they were sleepy, they went into the house.

“Mother... why didn't sister come home today ?” devan asked his mother.

“Maybe your brother has got a job and is overtime. Maybe tomorrow your brother will come home.” replied his mother so they do not worry.
