Eps. 19 Nights Alone

In the morning Niky wakes up and sees his laptop screen still on. He read the note he wrote last night.

“I think last night I just wrote down a few points, but it looks like there are some points that add up. Ah...maybe I forgot to write it myself because of heavy drowsiness.” murmured then immediately turn off the laptop that feels hot because it has been on all day.

“At the time to leave for work..” he said excitedly then immediately go to the bathroom and prepare to leave for work.

Moments later Niky exits the hotel riding his white maserati to his place of work.

“Good morning all...” greet Niky to all his sad coworkers who entered the workroom. But it turns out all the staff who were there just looked at him with a smile and then looked back at the laptop on their respective desks.

“Why ya all look busy today.” Inner Niky who feels strange on all his colleagues who look cold to him, unlike the day before.

He sat down in his chair and opened his laptop. He looked at Joey who was also busy. He stared at his laptop screen and was instantly shocked.

“What... is not the task given to his digestion one month, but this.... within a week I have to submit a report..... ??” peekik Niky who was shocked when he saw the memo sent to his email.

Joey was not next to Niky hearing the man's aghast speech and made him laugh.

“Yes so in this accounting section is always full of surprises. The rhythm of the task increased irregularly... hahaha..” chirped Joey congratulations then looked back at his laptop screen and looked serious.

“What... so this is why all the staff here look cute...?” his mind would respond to Joey but he canceled because the man had put on a more serious look than before.

“tik.. tick...”.

Niky began to do his job and moved his finger typing the numbers in a row of tables that had no end.

“Yup... !” Niky successfully completed one financial statement after seeing the track data of previous financial statement cases because it was easy for him who is a graduate from abroad to do that.

“Huft...” Niky breathed out after he finished working on a report and rested for a moment his fingers that had hit the keyboard a thousand times.

“drrt....drrt... ” Niky's phone in his pants pocket vibrates. He immediately took his phone and saw a call coming in.

“Ah... the mad woman..at this hour she called to invite me...” her inner still holds the phone and just looking at her does not lift it.

“What's in his mind that's all ? I'm busy.. !” his mind again waited for his phone to stop vibrating and put it on a shirt.

After the incoming call ended Niky immediately pressed the old power button and made his phone turn off.

“This way you will not be able to contact me again and at least I can concentrate on work.” his inner self with a small smile then put his phone back in his pants pocket and back staring at the laptop screen.

Elsewhere, Naomi, who was wearing sexy clothes and preparing food that had been bought for lunch, Niky was seen throwing her phone to the sofa chair in annoyance.

“Jerk you XL. All right, just wait later..” said the woman with a smile.

Back to Niky's place of work. It seemed that the man was seriously staring at the laptop while moving his finger rapidly typing the numbers in endless columns even he looked more serious than but who was there.

“ping...” one hour later he managed to finish one more report and he switched to teaching one next report.

Jessi looked at the reports from the staff there and checked them one by one. Suddenly he stopped checking the report and turned to look at Niky.

“Ding...”.

Jessi immediately broke her daydream when she heard many tones of incoming e-mails on her laptop that had to be checked immediately and sent to the leader.

The woman opened her inbox one by one and found out that Niky had already sent her two reports.

“Wait... This kid has already sent his report this fast ?! Wait let me check first.” Jessi's inner being surprised and curious at Niky's work.

“Ck... ck... ck...I did not expect, besides being fast he worked correctly.” his murmur that seemed satisfied with the work of Niky and made him more enamored with the man.

It was late in the afternoon and all the staff were out of the office, including Niky. He did not want to overtime at the beginning of his work and chose to go home because today it was time for him to return home with his family.

Niky and the rest of the staff were in a ten-person elevator. Jessi was there too. He was standing next to Niky.

“Hay Niky..” greet Jessi while carrying many documents.

“Hay Jessi...” reply Niky while smiling at her.

Suddenly a man who was next to Jessie was seen advancing forward in a hurry and nudging the girl who made her fall to the side and accidentally clung to Niky's body to hold her body.

Not yet had time to stand properly another man in the elevator shift backwards because in the elevator did feel full and made the girl pushed closer to Niky's body and made him kiss Niky's lips.

“Ouh... !” Niky turned his face to the left so that the woman did not kiss his lips.

“Ah... Niky sorry... !” he said he immediately pulled his body from Niky and shifted backwards.

“Ya it's okay..you're okay ?” he said asking the woman who nodded then shifted back away from him.

“Ah...padahat almost just now I kissed him..” his inner disappointed because Niky avoided him earlier.

“Ting...” elevator door open and all out from there. Niky who feels that Jessi has a certain purpose for him immediately speeds up his steps towards his white maserati.

Shortly after, he quickly slid out of the parking lot and headed home.

When it was almost dark Niky finally arrived at the house to gather with his mother and sister.

Elsewhere, an irritated Naomi looks at her phone screen.

“XL... You tried to escape from me huh ? You turned off your phone and can't be traced !” said the woman who looked upset and drove her red car back home.

Return to Niky who is currently enjoying his night in bed with a smile.

“Crazy woman..Today you will not meet me.” she muttered smilingly and closed her eyes. But in the middle of sleep he dreams of reuniting with Naomi and doing a series of activities they have done before that make him sweat cold and wake up from his sleep.
