Eps. 41 Missing Opportunity

The next morning Niky left for work as usual. He left early in the morning after breakfast.

In the car he recalled the incident last night with Sisca and made him unable to think.

“Huft...what a night later he will ask me to accompany him again.” his murmur grunted annoyedly.

“He was not much different from Naomi..” murmured again who suddenly remembered Naomi.

Event after incident with the two women again overshadowed him and made him not calm.

“din... din... !” the honking sound of another car was telling Niky because the man was driving recklessly on the street.

Niky immediately realized from his daydream when he heard the sound of a horn and saw from the rearview mirror there was a car that was disturbed because he then tried to refocus driving.

“The two women's body.. I was almost hit... !” he swore hard and slammed the steering wheel to the left.

“Huft..” Niky took a deep breath and leaned his head against the chair after successfully making his car go back in the right direction.

Shortly after, he arrived at work safely. He immediately parked his white maserati and walked into his study after being absent in the absence room.

He immediately sat down and leaned back in his chair just to make his tangled mind calm again.

“tik... tik..” after Niky's mind calmed down again he opened his laptop and moved his fingers over the keyboard, checking again the files he had worked on before.

Meanwhile, somewhere else in a hotel, Sisca looks to wake up.

“What time is this..” murmured the woman opened her eyes then stared at the wall clock that showed at 08.00 am.

“I'm late.. !” his screeches immediately sat down after pulling the blanket from his body. But the woman did not immediately prepare even she saw all over her body that there are many kissmarks on several parts of the body and smiled broadly, he said, back to thinking about the incident last night with Niky who was very hot in bed.

“No loss I spent that amount..” said the woman then immediately went into the bathroom and prepared.

Moments later, Sisca is seen exiting the hotel driving her metallic car to work.

Inside the room the woman could not concentrate and kept thinking about the man. He unknowingly picks up his cell phone and calls Niky's number.

“kring... cring..”.

Niky picks up his phone that rings from his shirt pocket and puts it on the table after seeing his phone is Sisca.

Sisca called Niky again when the man did not receive his call.

“kring... kring..

Niky's phone rang again so just glanced at him after knowing who called him was still Sisca.

“Didn't he know what people are working... ?” niky's arrogant inner self then picks up her phone and turns it into silent mode.

“Well this way I can calm down and be able to concentrate again.” murmur he put back his phone shirt and then continue his unfinished work.

Sisca ended her call after repeatedly calling and never getting picked up.

“Ahh... yes it is possible that he is busy working.” he said who was upset then put his phone in a bag and then started working on his job.

Elsewhere in Rainbow Group, Selly was reading a stack of files on her desk.

The woman seemed to read carefully one by one the files on her desk. He opened sheet by page the file and put the shirt back on after he finished reading it.

The woman kept taking the files on her desk until she retrieved the files sent by Niky a few days ago.

“Ehm..” The woman carefully read the proposal made by Niky and seemed to be silent for a long time after she finished reading it.

“Actually good concept on offer this time. It's just that it still needs a decision from the President Director of this company.” murmured after closing Niky's report and put him a shirt.

The woman looked ahead and called out to someone.

“Evi... Please come here for a minute.” he said calling his secretary.

“Iya... Can I help Bu Selly ?” ask the secretary when he is in front of her.

“Try Atmaja Group phone and connect to the one who takes care of this Wonderland project. I want to talk to him.” he said then took the documents on the table and handed them to his secretary.

Evi immediately dialed the phone number listed as the contact person on the file.

“drrt... drtt... drrtt.

Niky's phone is vibrating. He just glanced at her without looking at her and then looked back at the laptop screen.

“Maybe it's a phone from Sisca again. Basic annoying only...!” niky inwardly ignored his constantly vibrating phone.

Niky's phone shook again but he still ignored her.

“Still not lifted either... Well this is the last time.”ucap Evi repeated his call back after twice unappointed.

“drrt... drtt Niky's phone shook again and made him uncomfortable and he took the documents on his desk to cover the phone so as not to distract him.

Evi walks back to Selly's desk and hands Niky's file to the woman.

“Sorry Bu Selly contact person contained in this file did not lift after I called him three times..”.

Selly receives the file back from Evi's hand and puts it on the table.

“Ya already then.”the answer is short.

A few hours later when Nicky finished working on his report and arranged his files on the desk, he took his phone. The man tried to check the list of incoming calls.

“This... whose number is yes..” He murmured softly after finding a new number coming in instead of Sisca's number.

“What may this be...” his inner look pale then immediately check back the investor data and check the phone contact number of the company attached there and match with the number who contacted him.

“What... so who contacted us earlier Rainbow Group... ?!” he said and looked surprised.

“Ya Lord... because of Sisca I so missed an important call...” he said sorry because he did not pick up the phone.

In a hurry he immediately made a call back at the number he just called.

“kring... cring..” Evi picks up the phone at her desk that is ringing.

“Sorry I'm Niky from Atmaja Group, earlier when mom called, I was outside the room.” said Niky lied so that his client was not angry with him.

“Oh... Yes it was the art mother who called, but now Bu Selly is meeting.” replied Evi explained.

“Then about when can I meet Selly's mother ?” ask Niky from the phone.

“Sorry..it can't be ascertained because Mother Selly's schedule is solid. Later I will tell Selly's mother.” replied Evi explained to Niky.

Niky hung up the phone immediately after the call ended and he looked very disappointed to have ignored it before.

In the afternoon before the clock came home Niky again got a phone call and this time from Sisca.

“Later tonight I wait for you at Grand Surya Niky.” hotel, Sisca said before ending her call.

Niky could only sigh after hanging up and waiting for nightfall to fulfill Sisca's call.
