Eps. 52 Deadlines

Niky stared at the street in front of him blankly. He is still disappointed with the rejection from Friend Group.

“Hopefully in the next company I do not get rejection again.” murmured while exhaling heavily.

How much later Niky arrived at another company, in the Mandala Group. He did the same thing as he did before at Sahabat Group.

The man immediately entered the company and conveyed the intention of his arrival. He went back to the receptionist and made his point.

“Excuse me. I from Atmaja Group would like to inquire about the project proposal Wonderland.” he said to the receptionist who was there.

“Oh well..please wait a moment. Please sit down first.” replied the receptionist who was there.

Niky then sat down in a chair in the lobby and waited for the next news.

The receptionist picked up with the phone in front of him and contacted someone. Moments later the receptionist approached Niky and said something.

“Excuse me.. Please come with me to the living room, soon there will be Bu Adira who will meet you.” said the receptionist then walked to the living room and Niky followed and waited there.

Shortly after, a woman in her thirties entered the room. A woman who is sexy and still looks young is also charming.

“Siang brother Niky.. I'm Adira.” Ita's greeting smiled as she shook Niky's hand then sat down.

The woman looks distasteful and goes straight to the heart of the matter before Niky asks her.

“So brother Niky.. I have read the Wonderland project proposal before and have discussed it with the directors.” said the woman again and Why breathe to continue her words.

“Ya..” replied Niky hoping Wonderland's proposal was accepted.

“The President Director of this company is interested in the project, but no answer has been received yet, but as far as I know the President Director continues to sign projects with other companies.” obviously that woman again on Niky.

“So... meant mother proposal proposal Wonderland rejected ?” the answer concludes itself.

“Ehm. The main director has not given his fix answer.” said the woman again explained to Niky.

“Alright thank you then. I hope to get a positive answer soon from the main director of Atmaja Group.” Niky replied with disappointment because it was still hanging and there was no clarity.

After there was nothing to talk about Niky came out of the living room and walked on foot toward his white maserati.

“Why did they reject this offer... is there anything lacking with the concept I offer ?” he muttered while in the car and turned the steering wheel towards the next company.

“Hopefully this time Acc...” his inner self after arriving at Cosmo Group company.

Looks Niky who actually feel not excited trying to be optimistic and step into the company.

“tap... tap Looks like Niky out of the company with a giant step towards his white maserati back.

Her face looked tired after coming out of it for a while she leaned back in her car seat before pushing her onto the street.

“Argh... shit.. today I got rejected three times. Then what about other potential investors.” lamented slamming his body hard into the chair.

The man felt his stomach ache during the day near lunchtime. But his appetite is gone after today failed to get new investors for the Wonderland project.

“broom..” Niky continued to drive his car even though he had just passed the Yellow Bamboo Dinner House, where he used to have lunch with Selly.

“ckiit..” Niky stopped in the parking lot at the office where he worked. He then got out of his white maserati and walked to the cafeteria before the break and more and more were there.

“Kira what ya... I have to do so that they do not refuse to become an investor of the Wonderland project...” murmured while tapping his fingers shirt.

moments later, the food that Niky ordered came. He glanced at his watch then immediately finished off the food that was on the table quickly before the others came to the canteen.

“How much bu...” asked Niky to the canteen mom after she finished eating.

The cafeteria mother mentioned a nominal amount and Niky paid for it. Just as he stepped out of the canteen, another staff on board walked into the canteen.

“Hah... thankfully I have finished eating.” his mind settled a lot but who entered and ordered a meal there.

“Now I can rest for a moment..” murmured then enter the white maserati and lay down there, closing my eyes for a while.

Niky set the alarm off his phone. He woke up after hearing the alarm sound.

“It's time I went back to the room.” murmured then took the phone to turn off its alarm and get out of the car immediately.

Niky sat down in his chair and looked to the side. No sound, all seemed to stare at the screen of each laptop with a serious face.

Niky just turned on his laptop the phone on his desk was ringing.

“kring... cring..” Niky picked up the phone that was ringing.

“Ya hello..” said Niky after lifting it.

“Niky... What about the development of the Wonderland project ? I mean for two months there's been some investors willing to invest in that project ?” ask Niky.

“Oh Bu Sherli...” replied Niky surprised when he heard the voice turned out from Sherli.

“Until now I have only got four investors bu...” he replied with a slow intonation because he felt insecure.

Sherli inwardly admired Niky's performance, but she did not want to make the man big-headed and did not give him praise.

“Niky. The maximum in the next four months must be at least 75% of the number of investors that have been set. And before up to 12 months this project should have been running.” he said with a smile.

Niky immediately sweated and his face turned pale hearing the deadline set by his leader and made it difficult to breathe.

“Niky... You're still there ?” she asked Sherli because she didn't hear Niky's voice or answer.

“Ya-ya.. of course, ma'am Sherli..I will try my best and Big Brother finished before his deadline.” replied he who felt doubtful while gulping yes because he felt heavy.

“Well then I wait for the next news from you..” said Sherli then hung up.

The woman seemed to be smiling broadly at the progress made by Niky.

“I'll be up in a moment..” murmured and then sat back in his chair to relax.

Meanwhile, Niky looks tangled. suddenly his head feels heavy like a fall of concrete stone that makes it difficult to think and find ideas. His mind stuck even though he had tried hard to think about finding a strategy and a way out.
