Eps. 24. Monitoring Naomi

Niky started flipping the pages of the file he was holding and then read one page after another of the file.

“What is this really... ?” he said frowning as he read the file at a glance and found a problem there.

“Sorry Bu Sherli... This file..” he said handed back the file to the accounting director do not have many questions crammed in his head.

“You found a problem here... ?” ask the woman while pointing at the file she received.

“Ehm... yes...can I help you, ma'am ?” asked Niky who increasingly did not understand what the accounting director who was smiling at him meant.

“So like this. it's a pity that this big project is temporarily stopped because there is a problem in it. And I intend to continue this project. Maybe you are interested. because I feel you have potential.” said the accounting director explained at length to Niky.

Niky looked silent for a moment and thought to consider it.

“If I manage to help solve the problem of this project maybe I will get a position, but if I fail what will happen..” his inner weighing the consequences.

“Thank you Mrs Sherli trusted me and gave me a chance on this project. But I don't know if I can carry it out in accordance with the expectations of mother..” said Niky explained his doubts to the woman.

Sherli sees the fear in Niky's eyes where she also experienced it while still as a new staff.

“You need not fear if you fail to do so. I will not give you punishment and advice I take for your work experience.” said the woman convinced Niky not to be afraid to step or fear his own shadow.

“I will think about it first, Ms. Sherli.” said Niky smiled with relief after hearing there was no punishment for her if she failed to work on it.

“Ya... well I will give you time to think three days and I wait for your answer.” said the woman again firmly.

“Once again I say thank you for the kindness and offer from mother.” replied Niky then say goodbye and came out of the room back to his room.

In the afternoon after work, Niky decides to go home with her family instead of staying at the house Naomi rents for her.

Shortly afterwards he arrived at his house and immediately entered the house after getting off his white maserati.

“Niky... You finally came home too.” said his mother who heard the sound of the car coming in and out. The woman seemed happy to see her son coming home after a few days out of town.

“Mother... how is mother ?” ask when you enter the house.

“As you can see, son. Mother has been much better than before thanks to the money sent for treatment during this.” replied his mother smiling.

From inside out Devan and Fiona are scrambling to bring her brother's briefcase.

“No need to scramble, sister can bring her alone. You will still get pocket money from brother.” said Niky sitting on the sofa chair and leaning his shoulders. Niky then took his wallet and took some money and gave it to his two younger siblings.

“Waah.” Devan and Fiona replied at the same time while receiving money from Niky and smiled broadly and then poked her brother on the shoulder and the medicine drowsy then fell asleep on the chair.

Elsewhere, Naomi, who had come out of her house, was driving a red car to the house she had rented to Niky.

Without Naomi knowing there was a man driving a black car following her after she was ten meters away from home.

“ckiit... ”

Naomi stepped on the brakes and immediately turned off her engine when she arrived in front of her house.

Not long after the black car that was following Naomi also arrived at that place but she stopped a bit far away so as not to be suspected.

Inside Naomi's house is looking for Niky's whereabouts.

“XL. Where are you?” his screams called out to Niky because he did not see it when he saw the middle room.

There's no answer. Naomi went into Niky's room and found that she did not see him there. Then he searched every room in the house but still could not find it either.

“Huh... where is he... what is he... ?” he muttered and sat down. Noni quickly pulled out her phone so she turned her bag over and started calling the man.

“kring...kring..kring.Niky's phone is ringing.

Niky who was tired and asleep did not hear his phone ringing.

“kring... kring..” Niky's phone keeps ringing until it gets mom out of the room and comes up to Niky.

“Niky... wake up.. Your phone rang from earlier” said his mother Niki woke the child up while patting his shoulder.

“Aah... mother.... what's up ?” he answered after waking up and seeing his mother standing next to him.

“Your phone...” said mom again while heading to the phone that kept ringing and then sitting next to Niky.

“Ah yes...” she replied then sat down and took the phone out of her pocket and raised it without seeing who called her.

“XL... I was at home and could not find you. Where are you now ?” naomi said as she walked out of Niky's picture and sat down on the chair.

“Ah.. You are apparently Naomi. I came home today.” Niky replied briefly after finding out the caller was Naomi.

“I had a one week affair yesterday and just finished today. When did you get home ?” naomi said she lied because she didn't want to make him angry if he was with her husband.

“Maybe tomorrow.” replied Niky briefly.

“Well then I'll see you tomorrow, dear..” said Naomi ended the call.

“Based on crazy women, the more crazy you get and call me like your lover.” Inner Niky who looks upset at the affectionate call from Naomi for her and immediately puts the phone back into her shirt pocket.

His mother who had been sitting there and overheard iki's conversation with a woman became curious.

“Niky who was the woman who just called you... do you have a lover now son ?” ask her mother to investigate.

“Ouh. I have no lover and have not thought about it at the moment, Ms.” replied nervously and in panic when her mother suddenly asked like that.

“Ya already then son.. You must be tired after traveling from out of town. Rest in the room.” said his mother then rose from her seat and returned to the inner room. Niky got up from the chair and went into his room to rest for a while.

“click..” Thirty minutes later Naomi exits the house and locks the door back, but when she arrives outside, she gets into her red car and drives her red car to the spa, because he felt his whole body tired.

Ten minutes after Naomi's car exited the area, the black car drove back across the road through Naomi while calling someone in the car.
